Bodega Taqueria y Tequila South Beach

This review is only for the happy hour, and it was fantastic. Went here with a friend on casual weekday for their happy hour in the bar/lounge (you have to open a not-so-secret "secret" door in the corner which opens to reveal the big inside lounge), which runs pretty late until 9pm. The menu has a basic but tasty assortment of discounted tacos, chips, apps like a half portion of a cheese quesadilla, $1 wings (the best deal on the menu!), and drinks. We got a few tacos each, an order of happy hour quesadilla, nachos, and 10 wings to split.The tacos at $4 each were all nicely put together with a good amount of meat, and the nachos at $3 were filling and loaded with cheese and toppings. The best deal, however, was easily the wings at $1 each. They're big and juicy ahd come slathered in a sweet savory chipotle glaze, I would've been happy just eating a full dinner out of these happy hour wings. To wash it all down, I got one of their $7 draft margaritas which also hit the spot.I can't speak to the club experience but the happy hour for sure is worth a try whether you're just visiting or a local! Especially considering the prices everywhere else in South Beach, this place is easily worth it.

This place has gone way downhill. They used to have one of the best happy hours in town with $2 tacos, now they're $4, which I understand, inflation sucks.But the worst part is that they used to have delicious tortillas. Now they're cheap disgusting tortillas out of the package. No more house sauces either, just generic sauces like cholula.Overall just really disappointing and there are way better Options with superior tacos for cheaper like coyo, taco stand, etc.

I've been to this place before and they also got huge bar inside where you can also order food. Tacos are great, burrito bowl as well. Burrito was a bit dry for me but you can add some souse to it.

UPDATED REVIEW: Used to love Bodega, I've ordered from them so many times through their app and have noticed that the quality of the food and service has been getting really bad.I don't recommend ordering for delivery especially avoid ordering directly from their app, the last time I ordered nachos and they completely screwed my order up to the point where it was inedible, you cannot complain about anything through their app so I wrote them an email, which no one responded to. If you must order from them use a third party app instead, at least they have live chat support.Literally everything I've ordered with add-on toppings has been wrong, they have either forgotten to add something I paid for, or added it to the wrong order. The quality of the food has been getting much worse too, and the portions have dramatically decreased in size (see image of the tiniest fried fish taco you'll ever see). The tortillas they use on their tacos fall apart as soon as you grab it, it's extremely messy. Overall I'm very disappointed and have found a bunch of much better taco spots lately because Bodega isn't what it used to be anymore. If you're interested in a list of better taco spots, let me know, there are several. Avoid Bodega at all costs, especially if you're ordering for delivery.

If someone asks you if you want to go to the Bodega in South Beach, just say YES! What do you want? To eat some of the best tacos in South Florida? To enter one of the coolest speakeasies? A happy hour from 4-9pm? To hang out until 2am on weeknights and 5am on the weekends? To vibe and listen to good music? Bodega will say YES to you on all of this and more! So run don't walk....but if you drive, there's street parking and a parking garage across the street from the restaurant! Stopped in for a quick bite to refuel while walking through all of South Beach. Fast casual dining set up with a large array of taco, burrito, nacho topping options, both classic and eccentric. Ordered the barbacoa, carnitas, and al pastor tacos. Even though it was busy with diners, delivery, and takeout, we were able to find a seat and not long of a wait for our food. Some of the better tacos in the area.

Hands down not only my favorite place in Miami but also THE place to come in the US for tacos and vibez imo. Come early for happy hour and enjoy the club later. Wow the tacos here are SO good. Coming from LA, I was skeptical but the tacos here blow every LA taco out of the water by miles. I loved the pescado and steak chimichurri though they're not part of the happy hour menu (6-9pm every day) when certain tacos are $4! Happy hour every day?! Amazing.Make sure to go to the "speakeasy" portion of this place! It's not a quiet cocktail lounge. That's where I ate, took shots, sipped on a cocktail, and enjoyed the music as the place became more like a club. Our waitress was very friendly, and I appreciated that she never rushed us as the place started getting more busy. This area is huge and later at night, a DJ will start spinning some beats. They were playing hip hop and fire music from the 2000s. Enough room for people to sit, stand, dance, and just hang out! Great for large groups!

OMGGG! loved eating here, such a chill and cool vibe during the week to hangout with friends. Sat at the bar and our bartender Maddie was absolutely amazing!! We learned about the nightlife here so definitely checking it out again, she also brought out our drinks quickly and deliciously. The food was great, best tacos in miami beach maybe..i haven't had anything better so im definitely saying this now. I'm coming here again, just to see Maddie and if you're down here definitely ask for her, she will hook you up beyond!!

Not sure why the ratings are so high. It's a cool place but the tacos we tried were mediocre but I might prefer I specific type of taco idk Al pastor: decent amount of pineapples but doesn't taste like the Al pastor I'm used to... also had a mayo sauce which was different lolCarne asada: our fav from the threePescado: saw it as a popular one so we got it and it wasn't something I would get again... liked the cabbage but the sauce was mayo-ySeemed consistently busy when I was there.. people eating and taking food to go. There's also a speakeasy/lounge that seems popular...
