Bob's Deli Station

I ordered from this place on a whim, through this app. It asked for a boom boom shrimp pita boat. When I got the food, it was a boom boom coconut shrimp pita boat. Gross! There was indicator the shrimp would be coconut.That's all I'm gonna say about that.

Considering this is one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Houston, the place looks like absolute crap, or to put it more politely, it's a "dive". I'm not kidding either - it's as basic of a diner as it can get with basic bingo parlor tables and chairs and if you were blind folded and brought here, you'd think you had just landed in the bad part of Pasadena (as opposed to the Cosmopolitan part of Pasadena). So why the 4 stars? They are the only game in town and have held that spot for at least the 10 years that I can remember. That's quite a feat when you consider how many restaurants in the most popular parts of town shutter their doors after a few months so they must be doing something right and that is feed all the contractors that service the luxury houses in the area at reasonable prices. If you go there at high noon, you'll see a half dozen service trucks and vans inside while the hard working immigrant owner(s) work hard to bring out the food. The food is kind of all over the place and you can get a burger, chicken sandwiches, fajitas, or cold cut deli type sandwiches. Granted this isn't a health food store, but for less than 10 bucks, they will get you out of a bind and back to your work. I am curious how the place is in the evenings. I wonder if the Tanglewood folks dress up and go there to dine. Someone let me know.

Bob's Deli is fantastic! Best value around. The burgers are massive and delicious. Homemade onion rings are hard to find and these guys do it right! Don't be afraid to check it out. It looks lie a divey place but the food is amazing.

Unfortunately, this restaurant has a roach infestation. One morning while waiting for my breakfast tacos, I sat and counted at least 5 (2 dead and multiple living) roaches INSIDE the restaurant. I can no longer eat here knowing they have a roach infestation. If you're ever in the restaurant and look hard enough, i guarantee you will find a few. Their food is quite tasty but the bug problem ruined it.

The burgers are might just be one of the tastiest I've had here in Hou. Only other joint that could compete with Bobs is Lankfords. Been working in TangleWood Hedwig and Memorial since I was a kid. Bobs is probably a best kept secret. Much respect to the owners of the Deli. It's rare to even get a genuine greeting at any eatery in town.

Cheap lunch baskets if your looking for a quickie. Place is a dive but the surprise is that the burgers are good especially the fried shrimp burger. Definately a place for locals but hey you have to live a little sometimes.

I don't care what a place looks like at all! I care for the food, flavor and amount for the lowest cost. If that's what you like, then Bob's Deli Station is the place for you. I mean, the burgers are enormous and come with fries and a drink. All for under ten bucks. Btw when I say that they are big, I really mean big!! Bigger than any fast food restaurant's and the only one's that I've ate bigger are from Denny's which cost like 17 bucks. As far as flavor, the only burgers tastier than these are Smash Burgers. Be advise that this whole review is about their burgers!! So my point is; if you are looking for great tasting food for a low cost in large amounts, this is the place for it.

The food here is quite good once you get over the decor and state of the structure. Older reviews make mention of the dismal state of the interior of the restaurant; such reviews can be disregarded as the owner has performed recent renovations that bring the state of the interior up to acceptable standards.The chef is extremely nice, and she is quite hard working, able to multitask with relative ease.Try the bacon and egg breakfast tacos with white cheese, they are excellent and pretty filling at a reasonable price, especially when compared to the pricing in other restaurants in this part of town.

This spot pulled thru during the freeze! Called ahead and ordered meals for 20 people and it was ready when I got there. ZERO mistakes and hidden gem for a greasy spoon! Family owned, amazing prices great for takeout! Tell your friends

This was one of the beat burgers I've had in a long time. It was a good classic burger juicy and Fresh witty great fries! Defiantly my new favorite burger spot by far! And they are decently priced to. The rescue rant was pretty clean and staff was friendly. I got my burger In less than 5 mins ( long enough to make my drink sit down they were calling my number)
