Fried beignet is delish, and they have a drink with fresh avocado just fyi, ask for recommendation from them, very friendly service.. tiny joint but packs alot of flavor with their bubble teas, ask for half sweet if watching figure, best tapioca so far not too soggy just right!!:)

Service and employees were so nice! Cake was fantastic and the green tea milk Bopa drink was delicious, too!

Happened upon this small boba shop after getting some lunch in the same strip and was pleasantly surprised!They had a whole system of letting you customize your own drink but I kept it simple with the strawberry matcha with boba.It was SO good. Not too sweet and perfectly flavored. The boba was fresh and chewy just like it should be.One of my favorite things was the art wall I got to look at while waiting for my order. So funny.Don't confuse this with the TapX chain. This is way better and a local spot. I hope I can come back soon!

There are some days where I'm not feeling the big chain boba and can find solace in the mom and pop feel of Tapioca Xpress. Many independent spots usually offer basic flavors but that's most certainly not the case here. TapX has done a pretty good job with their variety, but it's the customer service I appreciate the most.The place is small and the ordering area is really just a small counter. The feel is as unpretentious as it gets and they usually have a number of Vietnamese pastries out front. This isn't one of the places to sit down and chill while working on their WiFi. It's more of a takeout joint -- order the drink and perhaps a bun and move on.I appreciate their attempt at variety. They have a good mix of fruit based and milk teas, but many of their drinks tend to slant to the sweeter side. There are things like sea salt taro coco blend or cap n' crunch cream blend or even the infamous cinnamon toast crunch. I personally have enjoyed their wintermelon milk tea, as well as their lavender honey so minty drink. The classic TapX milk tea is easily one of their most popular choices but I think their Vietnamese iced coffee (caphe sua da) is super underrated.There is some limited outdoor seating and plenty of parking. They also offer a limited selection of pre-made foods ranging from fried rice to summer rolls (goi cuon). The folks behind the counter are super sweet people and generally are pretty helpful when recommending drinks.

Tapioca Xpress, or "TapX" for short, is a small family runned business in a Vietnamese dominant strip on the side of scarsdale. Their motto, if I remember correctly, is pick a tea and then customize the drink to your liking.The folks do provide a clever "Top 10" list--not necessarily top 10 most ordered, but just a small list of drink combinations the owner came up with. Spoil alert: their #1 drink is their spin on the classic Milk Tea. If you're a fan of sea salt foam, you're gonna dig this bad baby (at least for the first couple times until you get bored of it'd overpowering sweetness). But to return to what makes this place so special, it's little to no cost to make modifications--remember, it is their business motto, after all. Want something creamier with some flare? Ask them to mix the sea salt foam INSIDE the drink. Added bonus, it also balanced out overly sweet drinks.Some of my favorites:1.) YOLO avocado - clever name. I like avocados. They actually use REAL avocado in their drink.2.) Watermelon, Lychee smoothie - my fiance's current favorite.3.) Mango smoothie with sea salt foam mixed into it (creates a pseudo Teahouse - Mango cream blend)4.) Coco Taro blend - for the taro lovers.

I've been getting their mango smoothie + tapioca for years now & I love it! I'll be back to try their kimchi fries.

Very friendly staff (the owner?) and a great selection of items. My new thing to get is an Avocado Smoothie with Boba. It was a reasonable price and had a great flavor.Seemed like a lot of people are repeat customers and he knew everyone and was very friendly to all that came while I was there. I was enroute to the Airport and he saw I was waiting on an uber and even offered to drive me if I was going somewhere close by.

First time here and it won't be the last. As I enter the shop i was happily greeted by the employees. Their customer service is A+ the drinks I order was avocado yogurt hands down the best in houston. They use fresh fruits on all of their drinks. The drink came out really good and tasty not too sweet which is perfect. Highly recommend everyone to stop by.

6/20/24, First and last time here. There was a roach in my fries. I'm so sick. IN the food is evidence of an infestation. Do not eat here.

This drink is amazing! The taste is unique, sweet but not too sweet! Service was also amazing! They were very patient with me when I wasn't sure exactly what the drink was called and helped me figure it out! Great environment, very nice and cute !!!! I highly recommend!!!!
