New ownership, same great presentation and quality of fish. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner herself. Overall great experience and will continue introducing friends to this spot.

I have no idea what happened to Bluefin, but it's absolutely terrible now. This used to be our favorite sushi restaurant, with legitimately the best sushi in the suburbs. They recently "changed the menu" and it's a completely different restaurant. The Bluefin tuna taster looks bizarrely artificially colored, the spicy tuna was gray and oddly frozen, the hamachi scallion was almost inedible. It's so unfortunate because, like I said it used to be excellent but I don't think I'll be back. One highlight was the service-well meaning and nice server but cannot make up for the oddly bad food.

Let's start with the bright and beautiful from Michael, and the warm welcome from Chef Paul to our server, Shane - wonderful service all around, like in Cheers where "everybody knows your name." 5/5Ambiance - 5/5 small and intimate but clean, upscale and niceFood: 5/5 In the suburbs outside Philadelphia is a rare find - a legitimate sushi restaurant that serves way more than California rolls and bento boxes (even tho it does). They offer prime fish and Omakase offerings with toro, Chu-toro and other, what I imagine, are rare finds in an area like Eagleview (as nice as it is)!We loved everything we ordered - unique rolls to Bluefin, with creative touches, and quality all around... we also love the BYOA option - bring your own alcohol. A couple next to us were finishing up their Omakase meal - over 2.5 hours later. They loved every course, and ended with a plate EACH of hamachi Kama. Amazing experience and definitely on the upper end of restaurant options in the Eagleview/Eagle area. Plus it's in the Town Square area where I hear live music and fun happens during the summer months! So cool!

Bluefin was our favorite restaurant, until it wasn't. Went downhill, and what was once a twice a month visit, turned into every couple of months until we gave up. Recently returned to try it one more time and it was quite honestly better than its ever been. If you've loved bluefin in the past, give it one more shot. You won't be disappointed.

I've eaten here I'd guess two dozen times but slowed down once COVID hit, probably 5 or 6 times since then.Pre-COVID Bluefin was a solid 4/5. Now? Maybe a 2 or 3, and that's only if you can actually get food because the service is absolutely terrible. The last time I ate in it took 50 minutes to bring me a coke in a can, and another 30 after that to bring me my two rolls. They offered a free miso soup as an apology.Tonight my wife ordered takeout and after waiting 50 minutes they just gave her the food for free because all the hot stuff had been sitting so long it was cold, waiting on one roll. She said another customer had a similar issue and they gave her free food too.COVID was hard on a lot of businesses, and customers put up with a lot when the restaurants they lived were fighting for survival, but enough is enough. At some point it's just bad service and apparently Bluefin has gotten to the point where they'd rather just give you food for free rather than listen to complaints.

Wondering who the kind seating host was today (03/06/24), who helped me find my hat. He took the time to actually search and didn't stop until we found it. I was impressed! So thank you to whoever you were. *I left my hat many weeks ago, and only came back today*. The food was exquisite, (when I came many weeks ago), and will definitely come back in the near future! The vibe of the whole place was amazing as well!!

Made a second trip to see how they do in the middle of the week. Sat at the sushi bar and I will say that they did not disappoint. We Started with tempura fried oysters and Shumai, Being course was sashimi advocacy with two specialty roles - one being the oyster mushroom. While we were waiting the chef provided an amuse Bouche which made the yellowtail it was delicious. Even had some Uni for dessertFish quality is outstanding-Particularly the more expensive cuts. Melt in your mouth goodness....

Sushi is overpriced and too sweet/rich. The entree I ordered was completely burnt on the bottom. I will acknowledge that the service was very good. Friendly, attentive wait staff. Plenty of places to get good sushi in this area; Bluefin is not one of them.

Absolutely horrible meal this evening from Bluefin. We will not return. We ordered chicken teriyaki, pork shumai, two special rolls, and shrimp tempura role. The chicken teriyaki tasted like it was made yesterday. The chicken was not fresh...it was hard and chewy. There was minimal, watered down teriyaki sauce. The fried rice that comes with the entree tastes nothing like fried rice. It just tastes like bland rice. The pork shumai were awful. Literally zero flavor and tasted like dense, bland meatballs.Sushi was average tasting and even slightly on the fishy side. For the price point, this is a no brainer...we will not return.
