The restaurants located inside the Plymouth Hotel and is a super fun atmosphere. The music is great and it feels like a young and modern sushi restaurant. It is set right next to the hotel pool. The staff was super nice.Would recommend the half chicken fried chicken especially because a lot of the other bites are small. The sushi was very tasty. The yellowtail sashimi appetizer with yuzu dressing was probably my favorite! And don't skip on dessert. The chocolate cake was amazing! Mousse-y and decadent with a really interesting ice cream.

From the second we walked in we were greeted with smiles. Great staff. Amazing service. Fantastic food. We actually went in for the Miami Spice deal and will be back for sure. The restaurant and hotel property are beautiful and soothing to the eyes. Great ambiance.

Came in on a week night with a couple friends to try out the Miami spice menu. The hostess and the server were both extremely kind and welcoming, couldn't say anything more positive about them! The ambiance was clean and beautiful. All the food we had was great, but nothing really BLEW me away except for the oysters and the piece of salmon nigiri. I would order those oysters over and over! One of the dishes we wanted was out, so we were given complimentary sashimi which was a really nice touch. I would say this is a solid spot if you are in the area and looking for refreshing sushi, but beware you will be spending a lot of $$$. We didn't try the fried chicken which I know they are famous for, so would love to return to try it!

Like many restaurants in Miami, Blue Ribbon is located in a hotel, specifically within The Plymouth Hotel. The menu may be small, but offers a thoughtfully curated selection. We started with the Miso Soup and ordered the Sakana San Shu and Negi Toro for our rolls. When our order arrived, we were surprised to find that we had to mix the miso into the broth ourselves. While the rolls were on the pricey side, they were of exceptional quality. We also sampled a dish from the Japanese charcoal grill, which was good but didn't stand out as much as we had hoped--more like something you might find at a typical Japanese BBQ but twice the price. Overall, Blue Ribbon provided a perfect escape from the usual hustle of Miami, offering an intimate and more quiet dining experience.

I feel like this sushi bar isn't talked about enough. It's located inside a hotel and is pretty lowkey. I would recommend sitting at the sushi bar, the chefs are really cool and if you haven't questions, they have all the answers. They recommended us their favorites and they didn't disappoint. The outside is also really nice for a lunch/happy hour vibe. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for fresh sushi!

Absolute best deal for Miami Spice lunch. For only $35, I got the crispy cauliflower, 3 pieces of nigiri, shrimp tempura roll, flank steak, and a piece of green tea mochi! The best part is that it was absolutely scrumptious. I had the Smokin' Joe to drink. So good! The restaurant is located in The Plymouth Hotel. It is a lovely, welcoming space. The service was superb. Oh, and did I mention I came on a Sunday? Yep, they offer lunch on the weekend. This is definitely a place to keep on regular rotation.

This restaurant is located on the Plymouth Hotel. So I will agree with other reviewers that it is a little pricey. we had a heart of palm salad, edamame, sushi plate that came with seven pieces of sushi and a very small California roll. There was an 18 $ glass of Chardonnay and a reasonably priced glass of beer so total bill was 106.82 without tip.The edamame was good, and the sushi was very fresh. All in all it was a great meal. I just don't know if there's better bargains out there.

Very disappointed! Sushi was ok. You can def get much better sushi for the price. My husband found a fish bone in one of the sashimis. Service wasn't great also as our waiter didn't have knowledge about the menu and never came to check on us. Ambiance is ok but def touristy. Not going back!

Blue Ribbon never disappoints! My husband and I stopped by for dinner and had a great time. Really liked the setup and ambiance of the outdoor seating by the pool area, not too stuffy yet still upscale. Perfect beach vibes and quick service, too! I felt like we got our food lightning fast.We ordered:Hamachi taco special - yum! Definitely get this if it's on the menu. Came with a creamy sauce and topped with caviar, which was flavorful but not overwhelming.Tempura Shrimp - Perfectly tender shrimp under the tempura coating - and one of the tastiest sauces I've had with a dish like this in a while!Scallop roll - I'm a sucker for anything scallops - these rolls tasted fresh and contained a generous amount of scallops, too.Sushi sashimi combo - Not explicitly on the menu, but we're salmon lovers, so we got a salmon roll as our roll choice. Good portion and plenty to share for 2 (or even 3, depending on how hungry the group is!). Diverse selection of fish, too, and I enjoyed them all (which is rare, since usually I'll have my favorites in a platter like this)!Yuzu Key Lime Pie - a bit of a twist on a classic key lime pie - the Oreo crust and vanilla ice cream were a great touch!
