We visited for Miami Spice and were impressed by this no-frills American restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious, with the fries standing out as a superior version of Five Guys' fries. Our waitress was attentive, funny, and friendly, adding to the positive experience. The restaurant's ambiance featured a cool outdoor patio with "blue-collar" decorations like plants potted in coolers and vintage toolboxes. There was plenty of outdoor seating, creating a great overall vibe.

Second time not a charm. $250 disappointment. First time we had trouble with the $50 dollar gift certificate from my daughter. Really left a bad feeling that they couldn't even handle a simple gift certificate that they created and sold. So can they handle the food? It was ok, but we weren't feeling it. Went this Saturday for brunch and as soon as we walked in you could tell they were under staffed. Maybe new location is too big for them to manage. We were seated took forever to get our order in even longer than we anticipated. Had to ask for silverware. Coffee to asking for three times and about 25 minutes to come. Kid through up in the dining room and they just threw a cloth napkin on it. English breakfast was way too spicy. Come on why would an English breakfast be even spicy. Pancakes burnt. Sent back twice and still came back burnt. I am sure they just put the original ones on another plate and brought them to me. Overall a disaster!!! I think this is a management issue. Can't get the right staff and lack of training in the kitchen and frontline. Oh well $250 is a big learning lesson on where not to eat.

This was a first time for me dining here. Also, it was a first for me to dine in this Mimo area. The restaurant is popular and has recently just moved across the street from their previous location. Apparently, this location is bigger. The decor was pleasant. They have a gorgeous large chandelier in the main dining room with high vaulted ceilings. The building is intriguing. The light offered a romantic ambiance. We sampled their corn bread which was really good. It was buttery and definitely had a nice warmth from some jalapeno. It came with finger chili brown licking butter. My husband tried their cordon bleu. The chicken had the flavours but was a bit dry as it was over cooked. The sides he chose were green beans and asparagus and they were delightful. I sampled their warm and spicy jambalaya. It was hearty and filling. It included shrimp, chicken and sausage. We enjoyed our evening. The service was pleasant and friendly.

New location is across the street from the original location. They have a ton more space here, including a lot of outdoor seating. The food is still good, though the prices are not exactly what a blue collar worker can afford. The portions are average for the price. I love their brunch, and will definitely be back for that many times. The dinner items are good, but the prices seem a bit high for what you get. If you're looking for something that tastes good and don't mind paying a bit more then this is a great option for you. Waitstaff has always been friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. That goes a long way especially if you're someone who has trouble deciding what to order. I recently went with some friends who were underwhelmed by the food, but I liked everything I tried. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

We came here for miami spice last weekend. We honestly weren't that impressed, the food was not very flavorful. Our friend recommended this place saying the old location was delicious. It might be tale as old as time, where the restaurant moves or expands and they lose their quality. The quantity was great for a spice deal at $45 a dinner, whole menu to choose from. The cornbread was great but the side sauces were weird. The shrimp and grits was good but I feel wasn't special and could be easily replicated. They didn't have the chocolate cake and the bread pudding was hard. Our server had a lot of personality and was fun, but we probably won't be back.

I truly love this place. I have been here plenty of times for brunch and have enjoyed every visit. They are directly across the street from their previous location, which is much bigger. Anyway, the food is consistently good and never disappoints. I went with the Salmon Plate and it was so delicious! My sis went with her usual, steak and eggs. No visit is complete without cocktails...I had a mimosa and my sis had the Margarita. The staff is always nice and welcoming. Great food and customer service. Ample parking available. So, for my fellow brunchies give this place a whirl; you won't be disappointed!! Maybe you'll see me there...

First time here at Blue Collar for their Miami Spice 2024!!! Tbh one of the best deals out of hundreds of places to eat here in Miami right now. Miami Spice Menu - Choose any appetizer, entrée, and dessert for $30 lunch or $45 dinner. We ordered the jalapeño breads which had a bit of a kick and Latkes Royal for appetizers. For entrees we had the chicken cordon blue with pork n beans and sweet plantains. As well as the Grilled Faroe Island Salmon with mashed potatoes and Pork n beans. The salmon had so much flavor with a crispy top. Delicious! The pork n beans give you a punch of different meat flavors from sausages and bacon! Lastly for dessert we order the key lime pie and health bar butterscotch bread pudding both tasted very fresh and homemade so so good. Our server was very sweet and informative and gave us some great tips on what to order. Food came out quickly and the ambiance was very chic. It was a bit small so parking in the back could be limited. I heard they moved from across the street and looks like a bigger location from the older one. Highly recommend to anyone in the area especially now for Miami Spice. ^.^

We just finished dinner here.. this place is misleading , they say 45$ Miami spice menu choose any app , entre..then the bill arrives and they add extra extra charges , shouldn't this be known prior to order? There is no extra charge specified on the menu. Overall, I enjoyed my oxtail but disappointed by the lack of transparency.Ambiance is very casual , bar style, a little sketchy neighborhood. Waitress and Host were nice.

10 Years Later - Blue Collar is still GREAT! I've been coming to Blue Collar for 10 years now and the food is always GREAT! No complaints! Our server Jon, has been there since we have been going and always takes great care of us too! Food is always spot on, made fresh with quality ingredients, and delicious to boot. No matter what you order from the menu - it will be good - I've never had a bad meal or dish here. One of our favorite dishes for breakfast or brunch is the Brisket Benedict - the combination of the poached eggs and the soft and tender brisket on an English muffin is just perfection - so good. It's served as well with home cooked potatoes that make the perfect side dish as well. We also tried this time the buttermilk pancakes and their French toast and both were fantastic as well. Highly recommend! The absolute STAR of their menu though is their key lime pie - it's the BEST KEY LIME PIE EVER! Not just in Florida but honestly the best key lime pie I've ever had anywhere and that's a huge compliment. I've had family drive all the way from Ft Lauderdale to Blue Collar in Miami for the key lime pie it's that good. You can taste that it's always homemade and made fresh and it's the most perfect balance of tart and sweet - not too sour and not too sweet - which is hard to find with key lime pies they're always too sweet or way too sour. This desert was the first desert that our server Jon recommended to us almost 10 years ago and I can happily say 10 years later it's still our favorite menu item. If you're in the area with great service and great food that is always good and consistent I highly recommend Blue Collar. You won't be disappointed!
