Blondie

Finally had a chance to check out Blondie with a friend today. The ambiance and decor are very IG worthy, it's boozing brunch approved, and the food and service were great. It was really popular today so service was a little slow but I had no complaints about the food. I had the peaches and cream French toast *chefs kiss* P.S. - we ordered the apple fritters to try mainly because we couldn't find pictures of them anywhere. They were okay - could have been sweeter and definitely should have had more apples in them. My friend said it would have been nice if they included a little dipping sauce too. All in all - def recommend

Blondie I've been to Blonde before and I have always had a nice time. This night was not one of those times My lady and I went in and stood at the hostess desk. No one came over, so I figured it was "seat yourself" so we went around to the main bar. This was 9pm on a Thursday in June We sat and looked at menus laying on the bar. Two guys in black shirts came out, and began talking to the 2 groups of girls seated to our left and right. The two guys NEVER greeted or addressed us. One of the 2 woman servers behind the bar smiled and placed napkins for us but she never returned to take our drink order. We continued to look at the menu with at least 4 employees working around the bar in front of us. The two guys, one with Blonde and another with Black hair, I don't know if they were bar backs, bartenders or managers, they ONLY conversed with the groups of girls next to us. I'm sitting there, less than a foot from this guy, listening to a guy's conversation to the girls about needing to leave and get some cables for upstairs. After being completely ignored by waitstaff and the two guys talking to girls for about 8-10mins, we simply got up and walked out. This is the first time I received bad service at Blondie and the worst service I've had in a long timeIf they were trying to get rid of us, they succeeded.

Was in the area and my friend wanted breakfast/brunch food so we decided on Blondie's. We were greeted and seated right away. It was crowded but not overwhelming. Service was greatFood was greatDrinks were great too. I'd love to go back.

The apricot siracha sauce on the wings could be thicker to hold onto the wings better and the short rib in the burrito should come out of the oven sooner, so when rolled into the wrap it doesn't dry out. Service wise Gina was wonderful and our beverages were great. The ambiance was a bit loud overall. Definitely could have reduced the bass on the music and toned the whole level down a notch. Everything else was great. The place is cute.

The service was really great. Thank you so much to Izzy and the runners for giving such attention to detail to our meal and brunch. The complimentary champagne was a lovely touch. The meal itself was tasty and but they were limited on what was available. Obviously they get busy during brunch and they just run out of things. That's ok. The cocktails were.... Too darn good. But then again, for the folks who decided to drink a pitcher of mimosas... May the odds be in your favor! Elise, their social media content creator, was adorable! She really created a nice vibe for those who wanted pictures or videos of the day. It suits their dynamic of group fun. All in all, we had a blast. I can see why this is a local dining staple. We will be back again! (IYKYK as of this post STREET parking on Sundays is free.)

The food was amazing. It came out quick and was very flavorful. The service was excellent. Staff were super friendly and very attentive. The ambiance was so relax and good vibes for brunch or breakfast with friends or intimate date. There was no wait time, we got seated as soon as we came in, without any reservations

This establishment we actually just stumbled into on a rainy day in Philly. I'm so happy we did because the food was so yummy, the service was top notch shout out to our bartender ( Noah ) he went above and beyond with his service and his drinks were to die for. This place is overall a vibe the ambiance is bright fun and free.

Blondie a gem from the decor to the food and friendly staff. Finally made it for brunch and enjoyed that tower mimosa. My shrimp and grits was yummy. The French toast stole the show. I do encourage making a reservation. I've been there for dinner also and it gets packed especially on the weekends but I've been lucky enough to get a table for 3 with respectable waiting time.

so I ordered the crab dip that came out quickly but the braised rib took an hour an 10 minutes went as soon as they open 4:20 pm. I had to purchase another hour on parkmoble thank god for the app if not I would of had to walk out an add more minutes the bartender is so nice an sweet the waiter was as well but overall the spot was nice. LET's NOT FORGET THE FLY as seen on the photo we had to keep trying to get it from sitting on our food.

Updated review: opening week vs now.My initial review of Blondie held high hopes that this would be a regular date night location- I was wrong. I've given Blondie 4 or 5 attempts to feel the same sentiment that I had when they opened and they just fall short. - drinks are expensive and are sober pours- apps are as expensive as an entree - main options are limited and again expensive for what you get (often wrong or burnt).- the overall atmosphere is confusing. The music is too loud or changing every minute like someone clicking through a car playlist, sometimes they have a DJ and then sometimes it's dead quiet. Overall- Id pick basically any other resturant in Manayunk.
