Blimpie

This is a Subway knockoff or maybe Subway is their more widely known sibling. The setup is the same as is the color scheme. A little variation in the menu and with less add on options. The cold cuts could use an upgrade but this is the kind of shop that might be popular in a college town. Uniform servings, relatively cheap and filling.

After watching an episode of The Food that Built America I started craving a Blimpie sub since I had not had one in over 20 years!A maps search revealed there was a location close to my job so I decided to visit. The sandwich was delicious and restaurant nice with attentive employees. I went with the Blimpie Best and had it Blimpie way. Such an interesting story of the sub sandwich battle and this was one of the first. So happy to discover this place as I will be a frequent visitor for my lunch break!

I have always loved Blimpie, and was so excited that there was one nearby when I moved here. I always get the veggie and cheese on the jalapeno cheddar bread. They have all the regular veggies and a sweet pepper mix that I enjoy. My husband, who has been known to complain about my love of sandwiches, quite often suggests we come to Blimpie he likes the sandwiches so much. He gets the cheesesteak, the club, or ham and swiss. The bread is always fresh and delicious, and they have multiple flavors. The owner always seems to be there, and everyone is very efficient.

This place is really good, bread is really fluffy, their meat is nicely prepared and the workers are very good at there job. I really recommend the white bread, even though it's a little basic, I promise this stuff is to die for. Overall I will always come back for a nice sandwich.

Hubby and I had delicious sandwiches there today. Tuna on wheat and steak and cheese on flatbread, I think he said it was jalepeno, but whatever it was it had to have been really good because my very picky eater husband devoured it all, then said he should've gotten the large. He never says that! And I seriously want another one for Update: Again, supreme tuna on wheat today! Master sandwich makers at this Blimpie. Go now.

Fast, excellent service and all fresh ingredients. I always order the same sandwich (all veggies) but I'm sure it's all good! Would highly recommend this place to locals and travels alike. This is my go to lunch spot, glad it's so close by.

I stopped by this location today 11 minutes prior to them closing. I mentioned to the employee that this was my first time there and asked for a minute to make a decision. He rudely told me "we close at 8pm I already cleaned everything." No reason to mention that to a customer, specifically on the first time visiting. After I chose the bread, the employee placed it down and a fly landed on it. My husband told the employee about the fly and he put the same bread that the fly landed on back inside of the bag. Disgusting!!! I walked out of there. Never going back. Please train your employees to not be rude to customers and toss food that flies land on it.

Amazing people, great food, wonderful environment, highly recommend! Every sandwich you can get is worth it and its way better than subway or quiznos

One of the best sandwhich shops I have ever been. Small store, but lots of personality. I got the blimp and added black olives. Only bad thing was that the bread was small for the amount of ingredients, but I did order the largest sandwhich they had lol.

I have been a Blimpies customer at this location for 20 years! My family always enjoyed the food! Recently, I needed to cater an event. Blimpies came to mind! I ordered 2 trays of assorted 3" Blimpie sandwiches. it came spectacularly packaged with several toppings on the side to dress the sandwiches. Everyone one loved them! Don't overlook Blimpies catering. it won't disappoint!!
