This is a cute little place that opened up recently across from French Corner in the Scurlock tower. The pastries, hot chocolate and coffee are all so yummy! I especially like the kolaches. The hot chocolate is actually better here than Starbucks.

I was looking for a place close by to do work, but also trying to find a new coffee shop in town, and that's when I stumbled upon this place close to the River Oaks area. This coffee shop is relatively new, situated in the lobby of a business building. Parking is either inside the garage or street parking (which I did). Once you enter the establishment, it is decorated well and cozy enough to study or work for hours. The barista is nice and attentive to his regulars or new guests. I ordered my caramel latte with some pastries, and they were good.

Absolutely one of the best cups of coffee in Houston. My usual is a breve' latte. Only Catalina on Washington is in the same league but if you have to be in Scurlock or Smith or the Outpatient Center, it is a great place to treat yourself.Yes, I have dropped relatives at their doctor appointments and skeedaddled to Blackwater. Every time.

This is the best coffee place in Houston. The barista, Daniel, is AMAZING. He makes amazing drinks and is so, so friendly. He makes the BEST coffee and matcha. The food at this place is also fantastic -- the yogurt parfait has homemade granola in it and is delicious. Do yourself a favor and go get a fantastic drink made by Daniel.

The matcha tastes like fish :( I wanted to love this place so much because I work in the med center but I would only order coffee in the future.
