Needed a quick lunch in front of good Shepard rehab. This was quick, easy and delish! I didn't get to try their famous crab fried rice / only me eating but their banh mi was solid. I believe less than $10 and delish! Looks like a small mom and pop place. Definitely recommend trying if in area.

We had a hankering for Vietnamese, specifically for some Banh Mi's. I remembered I had bookmarked Bistro Southeast sometime ago, so we popped right in to place a take out order. The service and efficiency of our order was great. Note: They are not currently allowing indoor dining,I ordered the Curry Tofu Banh Mi and my husband got the Vietnamese BBQ Pork Banh Mi. The bread was basic and the pickled carrots could certainly use more pickling but overall I really enjoyed my Tofu Banh Mi. I also got an order of Summer Rolls. These were great with a generous portion of fillings rolled up within the thin rice paper. The accompanying dipping sauces of honey cilantro vinaigrette and house made hoisin sauce were tasty and flavorful.

I have only tried this restaurant for pick up so I don't have much to say about the ambiance and service but the food I really really like!!! I used to order from here pretty often when I lived i the city but its been a couple of years since I moved. So when I recently visited friends in the city, we ordered from SouthEast and I remembered how much I liked the food so I thought it's worth a review! We shared the he bbq pork and meatballs ball banh mi, the crab bao ban, a chicken and a tofu noodle bowl, and the spicy wings! Everything was very fresh and tasty. It was delivered warm, the crab was crunchy, the bao ban soft and with just the right amount of sauce, the noodles fresh and pretty big portions too. The wings were great but nothing too special. The banh mi were my favorites. The bbq pork was soft and just the right amount crispy and the meatballs were cooked just right with a great balance of spices. Now that I remembered I am definitely ordering again soon!Note: for some reason the meatball banh mi is not on the Yelp menu. I remembered it so I called and they suggested to order a bbq pork one and tell them in the comments section to make it a meatball one. So if you want to try the meatballs that's how you do it :)

Fantastic prices and the smell inside is just out of this world. We ordered a bit too much food, but did not regret it. We got the tofu bánh mì, the fried fish banh mi and the tofu spring rolls. I would probably recommend it only getting the tofu by me or the tofu spring rolls overall a great meal, and very fresh.

It's my favorite place to order from. The food is always fresh and tasty. I love the mint limeade. Very refreshing. The shrimp po'boy is good. So is the veggie fried rice. I enjoy the wings as well. I would say my least favorite is the Cajun pasta with chicken. I highly recommend them.

Plain salad is the best around! Bahn Mi, spring rolls and pork&shrimp dumplings are also very very good. Rest of menu looks good but can never seem to pass up my favorites.

I've eaten many dozens (maybe hundreds) of fried rices in my life, but this crab fried rice is hands-down the best fried rice I've ever had. It's been a week and I'm still mourning the fact that we didn't order two or three of them. Also the cashier was super nice and served us our food even though it's more of a to-go place. This is genuinely making me consider moving to Philly.
