Bismillah Grill And Chinese

This is a review of one meal, specifically the lunch I just finished at Bismillah Grill & Mini Chinese. Stopped in for lunch and had a shrimp bhuna with rice and dahl soup. Absolute perfection. The bhuna was ten shrimp in a delicious complex tomato curry with onions, hot peppers, herbs and spices. The rice was plentiful and perfect. Dahl was as good as (or better than) any I've had. FANTASTIC.Bismillah is on a quiet shady end of a quiet little strip mall sort of place on a quiet section of Buford Hwy. Probably wouldn't even see it if you're just driving by, it's just too tucked away. It's the perfect, much-sought-after hole-in-the-wall. I don't think lunch gets any better than this. I'll be back.

I just came here last night for dinner with Friends. We were a big group so I was thankful that they were able to accommodate all of us. We ordered a variety of dishes: lollipop chicken, chicken wings, shrimp chow mein, house special fried rice, soups, chili beef, etc. Standouts to me were the wings (spicy), lollipop chicken, the chicken corn soup & Thai soup (very spicy) & the fried rice. The chow mein was ok. A few friends got the lamb chops & chicken dishes & said they were decent but nothing amazing. Overall, I would come back to try more dishes since it's still a new establishment but wouldn't order certain things again.

Place is pretty new and clean. Food was great. We ordered the house fried rice, manchurian chicken, thai soup and the wontons! The parking lot kinda sucks though.UPDATE: We went there to eat again today and the food was even better! The owner was nice enough to mention that they are working to make the parking lot bigger :) will definitely go back there and I HIGHLY recommend!

Great Bangladeshi restaurant, the owner/staff were very friendly with us. The seating area is kind of different than other places but enjoyed their food a lot. Their beef kabob was really tasty but way too spicy for our taste as my husband likes spicy food but not that much. I took their house fried rice which was tasty as well. They even gave us free chai.

The shrimp fried rice was delicious! Just wish it came with the tails already off of the shrimp. Other than that I like the flavors infused in the rice. It had a tasty twist!

Terrible Service . We order 2 Chilli Chicken and One Manchurian to go but to our surprise we got one each . When i called them up , they were ready to give the remaining one only if i come down . They were not even courteous for providing a home delivery for their error . Coming to the food , I doubt there can be even a worst Indo Chinese restaurant than this . The noodles was tasteless , The Chicken manchurian was nothing but chicken dipped in hot sauce . Definitely not going again .

It was affordable, tasty, and if you ask for something to be spicy, it's spicy! Most importantly, though, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the owner very patiently explained various dishes to me (aka showed compassion to me in the face of my small town ignorance). If you're on the fence, I'd say give it a try.

Definatly deserving of a spot on anyone's list of food stops on Buford Highway. Lamb Biryani was a healthy portion and both Thai soup and naan were made to order. Everything was full of flavor and delicious.The food deserved better than styrofoam and paper but given the small footprint of the kitchen I can understand the omission of a dishwasher. Warm inviting staff will greet you at the walk up counter. Interior is neat as a pin and clean.

Their Bengali style milk tea is the best. Also my go to place for some hot Singara. Haven't tried other stuff, will update when I get a chance to drop by.

The chicken lollipops were tasty but had no sauce. The chow mein was okay. They mixed up our beef and chicken order, and the Manchurian was mediocre and the Mongolian dish was tasteless. I think people stick to Desi food here but we did not try any Desi dishes. All in all, I would not return. The meat in the Chinese dishes tasted old :(. You also have to pay for water. Also the rice that came with the Chinese was not plain boiled but had a lot of butter/ghee in it, which was perplexing...
