Big Var's Water Ice

A great treat on a hot, sunny day! Their truck was in Center City, and I just had to give it a try. I ordered their mango water ice, and although it was on the sweeter end for me, it was incredibly refreshing and flavorful. They also offer pretzels for sale, so if you're craving something salty, that's an option.Again, great water ice, and I'd definitely check out their other flavors whenever they're in the area again.

They were awesome enough to work with our nonprofit Keep Delco Smiling. We wanted to ride along in the truck and buy water ice for random people in Chester. It was a huge success! The owner is a nice hard-working man who seems to care a lot about making his community better. The water ice is better than Rita's, and cheaper too! If you're looking for a water ice truck for an event, you really can't go wrong with Big Var's!

I called to let you know there is a problem and you hung up on me twice! That's great customer service you have, I would have never posted this had you taken the time to hear what I had to say! Big Var's has roaches in the water ice! I am done and you should be too! On to social media....

The rainbow flavor was weird bc it had root beer but everything else is super yummy. Big Var's got the city on lock

Best place in Delco! Many different water ice flavors including flavors you can't find at "Rita's". The water ice are very affordable as low as 50 cents for the children size.

The water ice at Var's is delicious. It just seems to take a while for them to prepare your order. Well worth the wait though.

Small non-descript location at the corner of Edgmont Avenue & 22nd Street (Turns into MacDade Blvd.) which serves water ice, gelati and pretzels. They have many flavors to choose from and their prices can't be beat.
