If you want some good ole big mamma's, Sunday dinner after church food (lol), then this is the place to go! The was my first time visiting the restaurant. They had so many great selections of veggies and meat entrees. I ended up ordering baked chicken with gravy and dressing and my two sides were greens and cabbage. So with each entree, you get two sides and a roll or corn bread. I believe the day I went, the dressing automatically came with the baked chicken so I wasn't charged for an extra side. The food was hot and seasoned very well. My chicken was a little on the dry side, but still delicious nonetheless. My girlfriend ordered the meatloaf. I was jealous because her meatloaf tasted way better. They also give you a good helping of food. The workers were very polite and fast and you could tell they had great teamwork. Also they prefer if you pay with cash. If you pay with a card, then I believe they may charge you a little extra, but not significantly much. All in all, I enjoyed Big Daddy's and will be back soon to try something different.

So I remember trying this place one time in 2020 and really liking it. However, I don't eat much soul food so I have not had reason to visit since then. Today was a huge disappointment. I had great service from the young lady who served my food and the cashier. Everything was presented nicely and it seemed pretty clean.Unfortunately - this food has no taste whatsoever. The salmon is really dry and way overcooked, but zero flavor. The yellow rice and black eyed peas taste the same - zero distinction, no flavor.The candy yams are ok - not mashed and still on the lower end of sweetness.The cornbread muffin is stiff and tastes like chalk.The first time I came the line was out the door. Today zero wait....now I see why.This was a huge waste of $26. (19.99 plus taxes and tip)

Food was so good. Great soul food. I couldnt decide on what to get. Service was excellent. Just saved this place to my favorites

Whenever I myself don't feel like cooking Sunday Dinner I can always count on Big Daddy's to come through. I ordered Door Dash on this particular Sunday. I was suppose to have Fried Chicken Breast, Collard Greens, Dressing. I forgot to ask for gravy on my dressing. The store called me to say they don't have the chicken breast at that location. No problem let me get chicken wings. I ordered a kids platter too. Barbeque Chicken Wing, sweet potatoes and Mac and Cheese. Everything and I do mean everything was good. Their chicken wings are in the large side. Oh and they included a corn muffins with each meal. They are a little on the thick side. I still love this place regardless.

Y'all.... I am so glad my old coworkers introduced me to this place. The soul food was off the charts good. Just SO good. Too bad they don't have one up here in North Dekalb or Decatur. They would do really well up here. I don't live in south Atlanta so I'm not sure when I'll be able to get big daddy's anytime soon. But we will see .

Just go! It is the one place is SW Atlanta where you can get enough food for 2 days in 1 plate without a second mortgage. Moreover, the food is flavored perfectly! You won't miss with this restaurant!

While visiting from our home state nj our Uber driver informed us that we must eat hear. And omg what a hidden gem! Thank you soMuch for the much appreciated hospitality and great food.. I will be back to eat here before I return home

I met my brother there for lunch. I ordered blacken fish tacos. It should have been called coke slaw bowl. Fish wasn't blacken but barely warmed. Tacos are meant to be hand held, these were swimming in cole slaw juice. Couldn't eat any of it and that will be the last time eating there. Terribl.

We are visiting from Orlando, Florida and my husband really wanted some good ole soul food. This resturant was recommended and IT WAS AMAZING! EVERYTHING that we got was amazing! I had the cube steak, yellow rice with gravy, Mac & Cheese, Collard greens and corn muffin. My children had spaghetti and baked beans and Mac & cheese for the sides and husband had turkey wings, yellow rice and gravy, yams, cabbage, and Mac & cheese! DID I ALREADY SAY THAT EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!

Horrible Horrible place with very poor customer service skills and poor work ethic i would never spend a dollar in this place again !
