Beto El Poblano

This is my favorite restaurant. The food is fresh made and it's authentic Mexican. Tortillas are made fresh every day. We try different dishes every time we go and they have all been delicious. If you are craving Mexican food, I highly recommend it!

Just had dinner here and it was pretty great. Super fast, nice server. I had the enchiladas mole and I really liked the mole sauce. I lot of places it's just "spicy brown", but this one had some flavor. also, the rice was not just plain white rice. It was well cooked and high quality with a light flavor I couldn't put my finger on. They don't have their liquor license as if this review, but it's definitely worth checking out.

Well my wife and I finally went to this restaurant. The restaurant itself has been there for several years but was never open to the public. Very strange! Fast forward to 6 months ago and I see they are open. Tonight we stopped in and ordered the Mole chicken enchiladas . This dish was amazing. Mike sauce prepared and cooked the correct way. One of the best mole sauces I have had. My wife ordered two different tacos . One was the shrimp tacos which she loved and then she ordered the Tinga Tacos which when they brought that out it was accidentally the beef tongue. Now I have had beef tongue before and it was awesome . This beef tongue taco was horrible, probably the worst taco I have ever had. They switched it to the correct taco and do not charge us for the taco so they did a great job with that. Now here's the thing. Something is not right with this place. The place is nearly empty most of the time. I think that is what they want though . It feels like they never wanted to open to the public and just use this place to fulfill the Food trucks they serve. As of today no alcohol. Why after six months do you not have a liquor license? I don't think they have any intentions at all to serve Beer, margaritas or wine ever. This place could be a tremendously awesome restaurant with a killer bar but it just simply isn't that yet. Food was excellent! Service was good but we were they only table there so not that difficult. Atmosphere is odd, strange something is way off but this place could be amazing.

The Birria was exceptional, the Tortillas are homemade, the Tortilla Chips were fresh and served warm. The Salsa was a perfect medium spice level.Beto El Poblano is the Best Mexican food we've had since we left California four years ago.Why hasn't the city given them a liquor license yet. This business must survive Wake Forests lag in approving their alcohol license.

The service was good, even though there was only one server, host, and food runner for the entire restaurant on a Friday night.He was atrentive and kind.The food was delicious and fresh. The chips were served hot, which was a welcomed surprise. I do recommend!

The food was delicious! The salsa and chori-queso were so good! Chips were warm and fresh. I got the enchiladas with beef and the beef was so tender. The service was great too. We were surprised at how slow they were at 1:00 on a Sunday after the great experience we had. Give this place a try!

Learned they have been open 3 weeks. Noisy as the music overpowered the space. Chips and cheese sauce was delicious. The lunch Asada Gordita was tasty and nicely seasoned. The rice was cheesy and spicy. Food wise, close to 5 stars. Service was poor. I give them a pass here given how new they are. One person for eight tables. Once food was served, we were not checked on nor offered beverage refills. Once the service issues are addressed, the upside here is huge. It's been 10 minutes since the plates were cleared, and finally got the bill.

The food is excellent and the service very good. Best tasting Mexican food I've had In a very long time.

The food here is fantastic, authentic Mexican. My husband and I had las tortas con asada, and the steak was perfectly prepared; the bread was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Yum! We were excited to see that they have breakfast and will be back to try it. Staff was friendly. Only suggestions for improvement are to turn down the music and get beer and margaritas on the menu.
