Best Burger

3.5 starsI pass this location all the time and had really low expectations. I've read the reviews and finally decided to try it while on a burger tasting expedition. (3 different burgers in one night.) If you're looking for a classic burger this is a decent spot. What really made this place good was the great grill flavor on the meat. The bun was only ok and the veggies were fresh. It seems like a lot of locals go here.

I was recommended this place by my barber in the area so the next time I was in the area I decided to give it a shot. It's located in a small shopping strip but don't be fooled by the facade. When I pulled up it said burgers and Chinese food. Don't let that turn you away. If your looking for a good old fashioned burger nothing fancy just a good ole hearty burger than you gotta try these burgers. I was very impressed and satisfied with my burger. The fries were small they call them "Freedom Fries" but I'm sure you can get a larger option if you wanted. The fries were ok they were kringle cut fries. The interior isn't the greatest setting but I didn't really care I was just there for the "Best Burger" I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Me & My wife have eaten at several burger joints throughout the years of our marriage......The title of the place "Best Burger" means very well! We know the owner's and they are very energetic & polite. Every item they sell is mouth watering, and the burgers are addictive. My wife misses the famous Chinese food that she use to get here for 40+ years. Bring back the Chinese food!Thank You!

LOVE this place!!! Food is great and comes rt out! The owners are always there and working rt along w/the staff. A great community partner always giving back. If you want a great burger at a great price. Stafford's very own Best Burger is the place to go!

So tried this place after my friend said it was better than Texas Burger Palace... it's not even close. The burger was very uneventful, fries slightly over cooked and price point wasn't sufficient for quality. I drove by so many times and wanted to try them... well I did finally and now the mystery is gone... I'll go to in n out or Texas burger palace.

We BARELY made it in time, but they were gracious enough to take our order before closing. We were so thankful. My wife has been talking about wanting best burger for weeks now, literally. The woman put it on our calendar. She got off of work today so excited, and even our daughter was ready for burger time at best burger. My wife ordered the burger how they recommend it for the first time, she said she will never order it differently and she is not even a mayo girl. My daughter got a cheeseburger, and I got a bacon burger, it was all delicious. I will say, don't skip the chili, y'all. We literally ordered two cups of it bc it's that good. Please try this place at least once, it's one of the few places my wife will try a burger dry (no sauce, no veggies) it's that good, she only tried it with stuff slowly and more recently. We love y'all and will be back for sure.

Best burger is a Stafford classic. It's a legit laid back burger joint with great service. Pull up!!

Has great burgers & you feel comfortable eating there since it has a nice retro vibe. Been coming here since i was a kid & it's been consistent with its food. Mind you it's not a restaurant it's a great place to get burgers with the family or friends.

After giving in to all the hype of Trill Burgers, we decided we'd go back to BEST BURGER. We hadn't been in a while as none of us live near Stafford (but honestly, even with the 59/69 closure, it only took me 23 minutes to get there from inside the Loop). But honestly, it was so much better than the extremely overrated Trill (which I found to be like a fast-food burger, but with slightly better quality beef).At BEST BURGER, we had many options for our burgers. They were all prepared exactly as ordered. They were made with ground-in-house chuck. The buns were lightly toasted to prevent sogginess. Excellent.The fried mushroom were great! Manuel came out to explain the mushrooms were a better quality and you could tell: they did not have the high water content that scalds your mouth when you bite into them. The onion rings were crisp, sweet, and huge . . . like bangles! And don't forget about the old-style crinkle cut fries.We didn't have any of the Chinese food. But you know a place has to be good if it's still open after almost 39 years!
