Great atmosphere before, during and after a Cubs game! Good was good, drinks flowing. Service was fine. Since there were so many people move fast and know what you want! Paid meeting parking , duh! You are in the city. Get there early or else you will have to deal with whatever happens. Walking distance to Wrigley Field.

Wish I found this place sooner! We love going on the weekends for brunch. They have the best deals you will find. Extraordinarily for Wrigleyvile! The bar itself is nice with big TVs and an outside area! The food has always been great and the staff always super friendly.

A friend recommended this spot while we were in the area for a show at the Metro. We were bar hopping around and decided to stop in. They had happy hour running with some good deals on food, and it happened that it worked perfectly for our group of three since the sliders and fish tacos came in a trio. The food was surprisingly good for bar food. We all liked the fish tacos the best as the fish was fresh and had a bit of spicy sauce. The sliders came with fries and I liked the crispy onions. Bernie's was a great spot for a bite to eat and a drink! The bartender was on the spot with service and we didn't wait long for anything. We were there during off season so it wasn't busy, which was nice. If I lived nearby, I could see this place becoming a regular spot for me.

I had pregame beers and lunch at Bernie's yesterday. We had a great time. We hung out in their beer garden. I ordered a flame grilled cheese burger with tots. It was a solid burger, and lots of beer choices to 'wash it down'. The staff was super friendly. This will be my go to pregame spot the next time I'm going to a cubs game.

I have been coming here for decades. This is one legendary Chicago tavern.I have been to private parties, before and after Cub games, and on Fall Saturdays for College football on the TVs in the good old days. The food has always been a lot better than you would find in a normal saloon. The place has plenty of space. Only rarely have I felt crowded.Bartenders work hard and are attentive.

My wife and I were visiting Chicago and were excited to see our SF Giants play the Cubs at Wrigley. We wanted to get a few drinks before the game but not at any of the sterile corporate bars. Bernie's looked like it had some character so decided to give it a try. It was a little crowded but we were able to get 2 seats at the bar and quickly made friends with some Cubs fans. Our bartender was a little standoffish at first but then warmed up, even giving us some tequila shots. I'd definitely come back here again

Came into Bernie's on a Saturday afternoon for some lunch and it was a great experience. The prices for drinks and food aren't too expensive, like everywhere else in Wrigley. They also have specials that lower the price even more - you can't go wrong with $15 bottomless mimosas and half off all appetizers on the weekends! $10 beer pitchers are also a fantastic option. The place is larger than it looks with plenty of seating and TVs for watching sports. We will definitely be back; friendly service and really tasty food!

Came to Bernie's for some drinks and appetizers before the Dead & Co. Show at Wrigley Field on a Saturday afternoon. Naturally it was packed but I was pleasantly surprised to hop in and find a table for four pretty quickly. We received good service too from the wait staff on a crowded day. Got some beers and a mozzarella stick appetizer and our bill with tip was around $75. Not bad, would come here again.

Not much too say. Wings had a strong chicken smell as if they were boiled. Staff was great. Evidently they charge a "processing" fee which I presume is for cards. Unreal, I've never seen this at a bar and grill. Very seldom I'll see it at a take out place w a minimum order. Check your receipts.

A decent place to game before a game at Wrigley. I came before the Red Stars' first game and the place was packed. Staff seemed to be handling the crowds well. A good beer selections and the cheese curds were pretty good and came out quickly given how crowed the bar was.
