Benny's Corn Taqueria

This place was so hard to find, I passed it a few times and finally found it as I was turning around. It's located in the back of the HEB parking lot next to a yellow and red building (Remco ins).I ordered a few different soft tacos, they were pretty small and were overall good, but nothing that left me wanting to come back.

I definitely think these are the best tacos in Tomball. They're served with queso blanco, cilantro, roasted onions, and lime, and they're consistently fresh, perfectly-flavored, and delicious. The elote is also awesome! They have tons of toppings for it.

I came to this place by accident , I went to the local restaurant down the street to order a torta and they do not make them but the waiter was kind enough to send me here . I'm glad he did because the torta from here is one of the best tortas I've had. The fajita meat was packed with flavor along with the avocado and beans to compliment it . The mild spicy green sauce made every bite sensational . I will definitely come back to try out other foods from their menu .

I've had these tacos twice so far and thought both times were delicious. The first time they came to an event hosted by my gym and I was impressed with the quesadilla and tacos. The second time I went to their taco stand with my sister and her family. We all loved it, included the 3 year old and 1 year old. I've seen some comments about the folks not being friendly but that wasn't our experience at all. I think between us all we tried the carnitas, pastor, fajita, and chicken tacos. I'll be going back and next time my sister and her family are in town I know they will too. My brother-in-law said he would move here for the tacos. No complaints, we had a good experience and a good meal.

The location is the worst thing about this place bc the food is AMAZING & the service is great I just wish they would bring back online ordering.

Updating my review, because the last time I paid to order pick up on Door Dash, I showed up and the windows were closed and no one was there. If they are going to close (even temporarily) they should update their hours. I ended up requesting a refund that day. I tried again today (Door Dash pickup) and ordered tacos & an aguas frescas, and when I got there she said they didn't have any. She offered me a Jarritos (soda) instead, (a less expensive item) but none of them were cold. I asked her for a cup of ice and she said they were out of ice. Sigh...really frustrating considering it's 100 degrees outside.

As far as this area is concerned, this is a solid choice for authentic Mexican to-go options. Had a great fajita quesadilla this morning - tasty and definitely filling. The green sauce has a really nice garlic flavor to it that's unique and really adds to the tender meat and gooey queso. I've had the elotes previously and they were also excellent.Food came out super fast, the lady working was very friendly, and I'm honestly confused about the negative reviews here.

I come here everyday and when the owner isn't working here the tacos always taste like trash. The lady's who work when the owner isn't working either burn the meat or don't season it correctly. The lady Cynthia gave me meat and it wasn't even pastor she tried to convince me that it was pastor but it tasted different. This place is good but when the owner isn't here the food sucks

We hadn't had Benny's in quite a while. The lady was nice enough. The tacos are completely different than we've ever had here. We ordered fajita meat tacos- the fajita meat was diced and it seemed to have some sort of gravy in it, probably beans. The cilantro was cooked or wilted into the meat, gross. Out of 12 tacos only 5 had cheese on them. Sad. We had enjoyed Benny's for many years but unless they change this we will not be back and we probable won't try again since we won't know if they will change these issues. It was not good.

Charged me for extra tacos I didn't even get. Too far of a drive to go back and ask for my money. Very inconvenient!
