I couldn't wait to post my review, especially after my last Berg Hospitality review (see Tavola review). I had mixed feelings about going tonight given the posted reviews, but tonight was wonderful and glad I went. As noted in other reviews, the decor and ambience is wonderful. Unlike some of the past reviews, the food was amazing - every flavor was worth trying again and again. Price wise, it is a little high for Asian food expectations, but clearly ownership took note of reviews and reset the value proposition. The quality and creativity make the current pricing worth the exploration. But the service ... an outstanding job by the entire staff. We were pleasantly greeted, the manager checked on us several times and our waitress was wonderful - she was very knowledgeable, she expressed valuable opinions and was very attentive. All in all, it was a great experience and I highly recommend.

Lovely spot for a nice group dinner or date night! The interior is a vibe at night - felt like a fancy restaurant in Vegas with a new surprise at every turn. Several of the managers and owner came around to each table to chat with us and make sure everything was going well. Our server also did a great job explaining the menu and providing recommendations. What we ordered:Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs - SUPER flavorful and would order again! The dragonfruit in with the combination makes a great addition.Pecking Duck Noodles - we wanted duck but didn't have enough people to split the full duck; this was the alternative we went with. The noodles were like a tasty pad kee mow dish. The duck breast itself is super soft and will melt in your mouth. Dry Garlic String Beans - green beans are usually my go-to vegetable dish and this one was recommended by our server too. Garnished with lots of flavor and did not disappoint! Will be back again to try the crispy garlic chicken, brisket egg rolls, and pecking duck with a group!

Benny Chows is a great restaurant for a girl's night! We started off the night at the bar waiting for our table. We had to wait for 30 minutes which was a little unsettling, but our Lychee martinis held us for the 30 minutes. The Lychee martini was an 8/10. Once we got seated I was very impressed with the ambiance and the little lamps at the table. The restaurant had dark lighting but the little lamps did wonders! For food, we ordered only appetizers to share which was enough for us. We had the: Crystal Shrimp Dumplings: 7/10Cumin Lamb Potstickers: 8/10Crab Rangoons: 9/10Smoked Brisket Egg rolls: 7/10Lastly, we had the Mama's China Garden. It's a very sweet drink. So order it if you like sweet drinks. I give it an 8/10

The decor in this restaurant is immaculate. It's very rich, modern and chic. The service was impeccable. Valet parking is available at B&B Butchers or you can park on the side street. The drinks were great. I had the lychee martini and it was perfect. Every dish we had was great. My least favorite dish was the green onion pancake but it wasn't bad - just didn't taste like most green onion pancakes I've had at Chinese restaurants. The honey spare ribs were really tender. My favorite dishes were the Chilean sea bass and green beans. The sea bass was so flaky and juicy. It was mouth-watering. The green beans were SO flavorful. I will definitely be back to try some other dishes!

On a whim, decided to dine at Benny Chow's late on a Saturday night. We made a 9:45 reservation. I was the passenger princess (hehehe) so I didn't pay attention to the parking situation but valet is available and that's what we used.Inside we were seated immediately and I loved the decor. The lighting was dim but not so dim you couldn't see the menu! Joy was our server and she was beyond awesome! She gave us the best recommendations! From start to finish, she was so nice, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu! She even went to the bar and had the bartender make us some specialty cocktails using blanco tequila. She recommended the sparkling sake and as someone who is not a fan of most sake--this one was great and I'll order again! To start we ordered, soup dumplings (forgot what kind), crab Rangoon, and brisket eggrolls. They were all delicious! For our main course, we did the Peking duck noodles, sea bass, brown rice, and green beans. Again, all delicious! I'd definitely come back to enjoy the food, sake, and service with a smile!

Stopped by Benny Chows on a Saturday for brunch with trying the Pecking Duck in mind. I'm a fan of the Berg Hospitality group, which this restaurant is a part of, they always ace their menus and ideas. Anyways, street parking was super easy on a Saturday during brunch, they also share valet with sister-company, B&B Butchers so that's an option. They have expansive cocktail, wine, and main course menus. We had the pleasure of ordering from the brunch menu which is nice if you want to mix it up and try a few smaller portions and offset spending or food wasting on a Saturday or Sunday! Benny Chows partnered with Truth BBQ to source the brisket that they have in their Smoked Brisket Fried Rice and I recommend that delightful dish as well. I look forward to returning to this place, one of my favorite types of foods served here and the presentation of each dish was beautiful. Service was excellent and the ambiance and decor was perfect. I also appreciate how nice the bar area is, actually wouldn't mind having a few drink there and eating at the bar TBH!

We made reservations for 10 for a birthday event. They notified us we can no bring outside food in (like a birthday cake) because it's part of health inspection regulation. We can only take photo of the cake but not eat it inside the restaurant. We was greeted by the host. We sat a while until we are able to get drinks. Food took forever... service was extremely slow. Once food came out, it came out all at once. I have to say the Crab Rangoon was delicious. The shrimp rolls was very dry and hallow. The oysters was very fishy. I could taste the ocean, without the motion. The pecking duck was decent. The pancake that came with the duck was good, I wish they had bao for options. We gotten so tired and sleepy. We just wanted our tab and skipped out on desserts.

Upon arrival for a birthday dinner, we were greeted warmly by the hostesses. I had a drink at the bar (gin based, I believe it was The Last Kiss/Pour). The food here was exceptional. The portions are generous and are good to split between 2-3 people. The restaurant itself is very nice, the low lighting set a great tone that was not too dark. For food I had the garlic string beans and seafood fried rice, split with a friend. It was AMAZING, especially the string beans. I will for sure be visiting here again.

When we arrived, the host stand was empty, so we waited an unexpected long time for someone to show up. Get to the table and sit down, and the table was dirty, and it wobbled. Service from the waiter was terrible. He disappeared for long periods of time. Had to get the attention of someone to get the bill because our waiter was MIA. The ambiance was nice, and the food was good.
