Very good Burrito's and specialty's dishes . The food is not overly spicy or hot. Everything was freshly cooked so don't expect it to be fast food. Good Mexican draft beers. Not thrilled with the margarita's though. They run daily specials also. Very friendly staff.

If I could give a negative star I would. I'm honestly surprised by some of the positive reviews.Where should I start. 1. I ordered through door dash, and before placing the order i called and spoke to the resturant owner, and asked if they could make a papusa with Cheese and Beans. I'm vegetarian, and they didn't have that option. So I asked, and he said yes. I didn't want to place an order pay with delivery and DoorDash fee if that wasn't possible. I also asked if they provide a salad and a tomato salsa that normally comes with papusas. Just to be on the safe side because you never know. He said yes. 2. The order arrives late because the store owners said it might take a bit for it to be made. I said that's fine. 3. I do not get any salsa. NONE. I called and asked what happened, he said that his waiter forgot, sorry. That's fine, I made my own with what I had at home.4. BUT then the papusas I requested, which I paid $3.99, already super pricey compared to what it is in other places $2-$2.50 is the normal range, they did not have any beans in them. Just plain cheese. I didn't ask for meat in them so the store owner is already saving money on that, so why the fuck would you not put beans in them, especially when I wrote in the description of the item on DoorDash what I wanted AND called just to confirm. 5. I called the restaurant again, telling them what happened. His response "papusas only come with cheese", and I said no, I spoke to you and you said you would add Beans AND cheese. He hung up. Just like that, just hung up. I called again, and he said "I am busy".Please do not give your hard earned money to a resturant that does not care about their customers, especially to owners who are ungrateful for the business you provide. I rarely leave bad reviews, and I am always super polite and kind, but I am not okay with people who abuse it or are disrespectful.

We visited Benji's a couple of years ago at the beginning of the pandemic for takeout and were so impressed with their food quality that we visited in person again today!Our party was greeted immediately and visited twice by Benji who made sure my frozen margarita was perfect and to make a suggestion for my daughter's boyfriend's quesadilla...the corn tortilla was amazing!All of our food was fresh, plentiful, and delicious. Terrible Mexican food. I ordered carry out and on the phone I was told it would be 15 minutes. I showed up 20 minutes after my call, and I still had to wait 20 minutes at the counter...for an order of three tacos! And the restaurant was almost completely empty. There were only two other customers in the place. When I opened the bag at my home, I found that they had given me a small bag of chips that looked like they had been crushed before they had been taken out of the bag. Chips the size of a quarter. I would recommend avoiding this place. It seemed very dirty. I saw a lot of flies while I was there and the rating on the wall from the health inspector was a 93. Yikes!
