Bengal Indian Cuisine

I recently went to Bengal Indian Cuisine for lunch. Bengal Indian Cuisine offers up 16 vegetarian options for main entrees that are cooked to order and served with basmati rice with many of these that can be made up vegan. I opted for the lunch buffet and was delighted to find that there were five vegan options available on the buffet including veg pakoras, sabji mix, chana masala, aloo shag, tadka dal, and vegetable fried rice. Majority of the chutneys were also vegan except the raita and there was also kheer for desert that had dairy. It was nice to see vegan options on the takeout menu along with a colorful tiger. The buffet is both veg and non-veg yet the abundance of vegan options made me happy.All the food was delicious and even better than the food was the service. I had a natural affinity with the waiters Eswar and Chandra. Both were from Andhra Pradesh State in India which is quite off the beaten path where most foreigners don't travel to and spent quite a bit of time there. I enjoyed sharing Indian culture with them. They both provided warm welcoming hospitality and exceptional service. The ambience here was nice. Met some locals dining and they say they come here at least once a week along with someone traveling from Israel. Bollywood videos played on the television. Highly recommended and I will be back at some point!

I have walked past this Indian spot several times so I decided to come in and give it a go. I noticed they had a lunch buffet around $20 so I saved my appetite one day to try some authentic Indian cuisines that I have not had in quite some time.The server and cooks inside are very nice and polite. I noticed on this occasion they were dealing with locals that were quite rude and demanding and the staff did a great job at not losing their cool.The food itself was an array of different dishes such as the rice biryani, tandoori chicken, samosas, and other items I can't remember but noticed they were vegetarian and looked somewhat healthy. The food itself was so so. I arrived right when the restaurant opened so I was expecting to have fresh, hot, and decadent dishes instead of that food that has sit out in the buffet far too long.The butter chicken was probably my favorite dish while the rest were a bit forgettable. I love trying local spots and want to support them as much as possible so I would like to believe I came on a bad day and will try again later on. I recommend coming for dinner or not ordering through the buffet as that may be a completely different experience.

Food and service was great. We were craving some rice after our cruise. Specifically Bengali food. This definitely hit the spot even though it was more on the Indian cuisine side. Their rasmalai is really good. Tastes like kulfi. Shrimp biryani was very tasteful! Spice level was on point in as well. Kids loved the food. The staff made sure we were taken care of. If I'm ever in this side of town, we will definitely stop by! Thanks for the great food!

The food was good , service was excellent It's been a while I tried buffet ! I do Wish they will refill the platers on buffet more often. Owner is a Bangladeshi & its 100% halal. While traveling through Miami if you crave for some desi food you gotta try this place .

The consistency of this place is what keeps me coming back. I love me a good lamb rogan josh, some naan and basmati rice! ***Of course, you must order a side of raita***I normally grab my food to-go but I definitely need to pass by for their lunch buffet special. It's $15 pp and you have many selections to choose from! My last pick up consisted of chicken beryani, lamb rogan josh, classic n garlic naan, and raita! It's definitely a favorite to-go spot when I'm in the area. They definitely have enough room to grab lunch/dinner with friends but since I'm normally too tired to dine-in, I just pick it up and have it back home. I highly recommend this spot. You absolutely get your moneys worth! Nice people too.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! The service was amazing, our server Manuel gave great recommendations. The portions we're definitely enough to take home leftovers and everything tasted fresh. The samosas were freshly fried and loaded with veggies and flavorful herbs. As far as the ambiance, the Indian music videos playing in the background were mesmerizing to watch. What a great vibe! We had the vindaloo and the butter chicken. Highly recommend!

Came for the lunch buffet. Left with great service and a average to solid meal. I wish the food was a bit more spicy for my palete but I understand the market they need to cater to. Pretty easy to find parking and the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere. I would return again and recommend without reservations.

Omg I have been in Miami every year and I come back to this restaurant no matter what!!!! This is the best Indian Bengali restaurant best best best anyone that's Bengali like me you must come here and show the love. They will cook food the best way possibly. Mr. Halal was the best at serving us and explaining everything how food was being cooked as well as the chef him self came out and gave us extra food. Hands down best restaurant I have ever been too

I'd like to start off by saying I ordered for pickup through Yelp (fulfilled by Grubhub). After constantly refreshing the site for about 20ish mins it said the restaurant had not confirmed the order yet. I decided to call and he told me that the food had been ready and I needed to come pick it up. Very annoying as I had been waiting in my car outside of the restaurant as soon as the order was placed. You all need to do better about that. Luckily the food was still warm when I got home. He seemed friendly. I am also underwhelmed by the flavor of the food. I ordered the lamb Rogan Josh spicy might I add and it just was mediocre at best. With bland clumpy rice. I've had much better Indian food. No spice or flavor. I'm disappointed and not sure if I'd return. For the price it was just not worth it imo. Hard to judge the ambiance as it was empty and quiet with a few ppl waiting to pick up togo orders

Ordering catering for the office. Butter chicken, rice, garlic naan bread and salad. All delicious! And delivery was made on time
