Bengal Cafe

My whole family ate here last night. Two entrees and six samosas fed 3 hungry adults. We loved the desi desserts at the end - the beet one was amazing. The food was great too. We'll be back. I docked a star since it was pretty expensive for a place where we were served on disposables and had to bus our own table. Clean enough.

Was super excited to try this place out. It was very clean inside which I very much appreciate for a desi place. Even the bathroom was clean. The seats and tables are nice and comfy. Their chotputi was really good and so were the samosas/shingara and fish kabob. We found a bone in our kabob which for us is okay since we are used to working with fish bones in our Bangali dishes, but for others it might not be a good surprise. My husband enjoyed his cha, but it wasn't anything extra special. It was like a home cup.We were a little disappointed with their sweets selection. They barely had much of a selection and what they had were not much of being Bangali sweets. I think they have such a great opportunity to be a great cafe. They really need to up their game and bring more Bangali sweets and other pastry options in their selection. Not many Bangali shops in the area, this place can really thrive if they put some effort in.

Starbucks who??? I love an authentic coffee or in my case tea house. I absolutely love my Chai and this place does it best! This place gives you all the vibes of a homemade bakery and coffee shop. From the sweet treats to the veggie samosas. What I love is that when I walk in the gentleman who makes my Masala Chai literally knows me by my drink haha. This place has a handful of drink options coffee and tea nice and simple. I love that about this place nothing overly complicated nor complex drinks just simple authentic. They do have a large sitting area and offer wifi so it's a good place to work and or study. Highly recommend to give this place a try!

Great coffee. Great samosa. Definitely something to try for the adventurous coffee drinker or wanting Desi comforts in a coffee shop setting

Hello! My mom and our family would come here on the weekends and we heard that there is a new owner. Congrats!! This is our favorite filtered coffee place, but Selah and I had mango lassi while we played jenga. This place has some fun board games too!

Bengal Sweets has a permanent place in my heart. The barista showed us true Desi hospitality. Conversed with us, gave my bestie a complimentary beverage so she'd have something to sip on with me, and got my drink out in minutes.Clean, cozy, and varied seating make this a perfect place for studying or catching up with a friend.Now for the iced coffee. Some of the BEST iced coffee I've ever had. Perfectly foamy with the perfect level of sweetness.

My wife ordereed a freezy which is described as an iced blended drink, she got the freezy coffee, she gave it 2 stars, it was barely cold and very liquidy, she was expecting something like a frappe. I loved my hot kumbakonam degree coffee. They have a bunch of snacks, samosas, dal puri, spring rolls, etc. They also have stuff like chicken tenders, spanakopita which is a spinach and cheese pastry, and lots of Indian pastries like gulab jamon, jalebi, we'd just eaten elsewhere so I didn't try any other items....they looked tasty though.

Drove to try their Madras filter coffee and instead of glasses they advertised online, it was just in a regular to go cup - but the taste- was so bad. It tasted nothing like the filter coffee, nor was it made as such and instead, it was just a regular machine coffee from any run of the mill 7 eleven etc. Such a disappointment and waste of money.

Owners are very nice and food was delicious. Will be going back. I recommend this cafe to everyone I speak too.
