This place is a gem!Food is very delicious and the drinks are excellent - especially the mojitos. Manny is an excellent host/server and you will enjoy his service! Please, if you are in Miami Beach give this establishment a visit. You won't regret it.

I don't have a particular reason to come to Miami. Well, at least, I didn't use to. Our dinner at Bella Cuba has changed all that. Fresh food complimented by an alternatively light touch and imaginative flavorings (authentic Cuban, mind you) happened from the beginning. I wasn't especially bold in my choices. The traditional Cuban Sandwich and the calamari were my bid - sorry, didn't trust a new place - which would have been my loss if we hadn't returned the next night to try the Oxtail (and the calamari, natch). The mojito was superb. What you should know: atmosphere was a 9.5,Service by Manny (English subversion of his Hispanic name) was extremely cordial, accommodating 10, prices were almost too reasonable. A reason to go to Bella Cuba

Came here as recommended by our hotel, and Bella Cuba did not disappoint!Servings were huge and extremely generous. Came with lots of protein! 1. Seafood stew was absolute bomb. This was so good and big and had so much seafood!2. Oxtail stew was also really good! Tender and lots of meat! Definitely check out Bella Cuba if you find yourself in Miami Beach and wanting some Cuban food. It's not right in the middle of a busy street like Espanola and may not be as vibey, but you get more bang for your buck and food is so much better

This place is such a hidden gem! It was quite empty when we arrived but that turned out to not be a bad thing. Staff was very attentive and offered explanations of the menu. Everyone of my table thoroughly enjoyed their meal and we are still talking about it days later. The big stand out was the seafood soup which was huge for the price. It was easily shared between 3 people as an appetizer. So flavorful and the seafood was plentiful. In addition the oxtail stew was also so tender and flavorful. Across the bored portion were hefty and prices were VERY reasonable exotically for Miami. Mojitos and iced Cuban coffee were also delicious. We can't recommend this place enough!

Bella Cuba is located on the bustling and lively Washington Ave. If the weather permits, I would highly recommend sitting at one of the tables outside. Just be aware that there are plenty of interesting people walking around. The traditional Cuban sandwich was ok. The Cuban bread was toasted perfectly and the meat portions were generous but the meat and sauce were almost unbearably salty. I quickly finished my glass of water but unfortunately my waiter did not come back after serving my food. The fries were fresh.

Came here for lunch with my friends and we enjoyed our meal. We were seated fairly quickly despite the restaurant being pretty busy. The restaurant had nice vibes and the staff were friendly in helping us decide our foods.I ordered the Traditional Cuban Sandwich for myself and it was absolutely delicious. It was one of the best Cuban sandwiches I tried in Miami, so would highly recommend. My friends who ordered the drunk chicken, tropical glazed chicken, lamb, and a beef wrap, also really enjoyed their meals. Our only disappointment was in the drinks - my coffee didn't taste like coffee, just tasted like slightly flavored cold milk. My friend's cocktail was supposed to be mango flavored, but it was so strong you basically tasted no fruit juice. Overall, would come back to the restaurant if I'm nearby!

Food was absolutely spectacular. Wish I could finish my plate but it was such good portions and I KNEW I had to save room for dessert and coffee. Our waiter knew exactly what he was talking about and gave great recommendations. They even had off the menus specials. That night they had red snapper with creamy white sauce. My friend got it and let me try a bite and it was so good. Our other friend got the ox tail stew and I am still thinking about it. Very fun ambiance. Seemed like everyone there was having a birthday and the staff was all singing and having fun.

We were so happy with our experience with Bella Cuba! The restaurant has a wonderful intimate feeling inside, the staff are very kind. Our waiter, Moni (not sure of the spelling) was so helpful when explaining the menu and recommending dishes. We decided to go with the specials that day, a red snapper and filet mignon both covered in a creamy sauce. Our dishes came with two sides, both of us got yuca; one order boiled and one as fries. I highly recommend the boiled, very amazing texture and it was perfectly paired with the meat. We also got the fried sweet plantains, they are an absolute must! The two of us shared a mango mojito which was delicious as well. We left with our plates licked clean. If you have the chance, head down to Bella Cuba, you will not be disappointed!

The meal was fine until we got the bill. The bill included 3% for credit card usage and an 18% service charge. I understand the 3% but it was added automatically and we were never asked how we wanted to pay. What really irritated me was the 18% service charge. This was never mentioned and the customer bill we had to sign had a line for a tip, suggesting 18%,20% or 22%. Unless you really checked you bill, I can easily see people paying the S/C and a tip. This was deceiving and I would never go back or recommend the place.
