Bella Cibo

I ordered my daughters first birthday cake from bella cibo and i was very happy with everything. I mainly chose bella cibo because it's so close to my house. But, I'm so happy that I went with them because mrs.bridget is so nice and does an amazing job. Her actual store front is closed down due to construction. So I had to go to her house for the cake consultation which was fine with me since it was nearby. She was so nice and patient with me. I showed her a picture with what I wanted and she did exactly what I wanted. Her prices are affordable as well I went to a different bakery and they wanted to charge me double of what I paid for and the owner was not friendly (Virginias bakery by vintage park) I will be a returning customer everytime i need a cake. My only complaint is the cake is a tad sweet but it was super moist.

I live in New York and I heard great things about Bella Cibo. Our correspondence begin a week before my event, we never spoke on the phone only through email. I email her a pic of a round cake with black icing and pink font that I wanted to have made the following week. She told me that the price would be $65, I said fine. However my event was canceled 3 days before due to the weather in the surrounding Houston areas and the weather we've experienced on the East coast hasn't been that great. I reached out to Bridget to inform her and she stated that because I was canceling I would have to pay $20.Now there is no cancellation information and policies on their website. I advised her if she thought that was fair then go ahead and charge me. I find it highly unprofessional because exactly what cost did they incur to charge me $20? It's very tacky because our relationship didn't end off $65 she stand to made, but $20? The weather is out of my control I would expect a business to empathize with a customer and make a memory where the customer wants to return not treating customers like one night stands. I guess $20 is for her conversation or time it took to email me? I don't know. But I definitely will not be doing business with them in the future and I will be making sure everyone hears about this.

My first experience with this bakery was at the wedding expo at the grb about four years ago. I decided to order my bday cake from here that year and haven't changed it up since. I have since then ordered my son's christening cake, his first bday cake/smash cake and will soon make another order for the christening of my second kid. I keep it simple with yellow or white cake and vanilla icing. The cake is flavorful and super moist. The icing is not overly sweet and it's balances out the cake nicely. This bakery is not that close to me but it's worth the drive to have a cake that everyone who has had it can enjoy. Will continue to get our special occasion cakes here as we enjoy the product as well as the friendliness of the owner who takes your order.

I have ordered cakes from Bella Cibo on two occassions; once for a friends bday and once for a bridal shower. Each time I've ordered cakes, Bella Cibo has never disappointed. I've always gotten compliments and I've never had to complain about pricing or anything. Very reasonably priced, and decorated exactly to your liking.Her cakes are fresh, the fondant isn't too sugary or hard to get through and her cake is out of this world. The density of each slice is so thick to cut through you never have crumbs like other dryer cakes. The taste is just the same; delectable and mouthwatering! I'd recommend Bella Cibo to anyone in the North Houston/Jersey Village side of town for all your special occassion cakes!

A great and affordable place for custom cakes. I was very pleased with the decoration and the cake was very tasty. The bottom was red velvet and the top was butter cream. So delish and beautiful.

Fantastic bakery! Ordering was so simple and they have a huge menu of different flavors. I ordered the Carmel Pecan cake and not only was it gorgeous, the flavor was amazing! The cake was so fresh and the frosting was delicious!

There wasn't anything in the display case so at first I though all the cupcakes were gone but luckily they weren't. The owner, I believe, was very helpful in marking on an order sheet, which varieties were available today. I wanted some for my coworkers so I decided to make it simple and get all Red Velvet. After I placed my order, she went to the back to frost and package them. She put them in molded plastic containers that kept them separated. I was very pleased with the way she packaged them. I had read 2 reviews about another bakery, NOT this one, that had a couple of very unhappy customers after they got their cupcakes home to find they were pretty messed up.The cupcakes were very tasty! Fresh with yummy cream cheese frosting.I would definitely go here again and hopefully get there early enough to try the strawberry cupcakes - they were gone so must be very popular.

Here's some of the cakes that Bridget has done for me throughout the years. They are the definition of gourmet and I can't wait until I throw another party. She is my go-to and literally the only bakery I ever will order cakes from...the first one was my baby shower cake, and then my daughters first birthday cake and smash cake. And my most recent one was my daughters 3rd birthday cake. I highly recommend the Chocolate Raspberry Mousse Cake!! It was a delicacy and totally the best cake I have ever had! Also Bridget is a very nice lady and understanding of what you want in a cake, and can do a great job at replicating what you want! I will forever be a customer! :)

Good Cakes + Shit Customer Service = 1 StarThis bakery is no longer on Senate Ave. It has moved to the owners home.I had been using this bakery for probably a little over a year for both business and personal. The cakes are good but the owner is sorely lacking in the way of customer service.I ordered a particular cake for my birthday. I changed to a simpler, less expensive design about a week before the big day. She issued me a store credit for the difference. Upon picking the cake up, it was not the cake I had designed. I'm not sure how she managed to screw that up. She had a description and a drawing that she herself wrote/drew out as we discussed it. She credited $25 to my card. Hardly a fair compensation for the disappointment. Though this is the second time she has screwed up an order for me, I wasn't yet ready to give up.I then placed an order for my son's cake but could only pick it up on a Sunday morning. She refused to allow it. She specially told me that she was not be available after 8am on that Sunday which led me to believe if it were any other Sunday, she'd be open to it. I told her I would gladly pick it up well before 8am. She refused. I do understand that she has business hours that do not include a Sunday but considering the fact that she so irresponsibly messed up my birthday cake, I would have expected her to accommodate me in this small way. When I requested reimbursement for the store credit, she again refused. Why she would insist on forcing a dissatisfied customer to continue to do business with her is beyond me but so be it.I strongly advise anyone thinking of doing business here to consider another bakery or at least have a backup. As I said, she has screwed up two orders for me and in my opinion, did not do enough to make it right.

I ordered the Italian Cream cake for a small wedding gathering. The ordering was quick and easy and the cake was ready at pickup time. It was Delicious!!! Everyone loved it and raved about how good it was. I was surprised at the great price as well. We will be ordering another one soon because we loved it so much. I highly recommend this bakery!
