This was a slice of heaven after the RaceFest! The waffle was hot and crispy, the banana and cream fresh, and just enough Nutella and chocolate drizzle. It's a food truck so service went as fast as it could (ladies were very nice; they gave my waffle away by mistake but promptly made another one, so it's all good). Great little treat to try out if you're in Durham and can find it.

Not a fan of food truck fare, but these waffles were awesome! Tasted like real gaufre I've had in Europe. Sampled the Canadian, simple with maple syrup, and the Strawberries and Cream. 5 choices was plenty, some with bacon and chocolate. This place a definite winner!

This is hands down, the best waffle creation I've ever had. And it turns out it's because these guys use dough! It's nothing like the liquid-y paste you see at other places, and I was truly impressed with its texture.I had the "Belvis" waffle, which came with peanut butter, bananas, bacon and maple syrup. They piled the toppings so high, it was hard to tell there was a waffle under it all until you bit into it. There are sweet and savory options, so you can please a sweet tooth or savory craving. Yes, waffles are around $10...but's well worth the dough. Hah! In more ways than one.

Such amazing authentic Belgian waffles. Both owners are Belgian. The waffles taste delicious. They are a little pricey but definitely worth it. I recommend the Bouc with goat cheese, walnuts and honey. Perfect combination of sweet and savoury. They are filling waffles too. Will go back. The owners are extremely friendly too.

1/27/19: Tried them for the first time today at the Durham food truck rodeo. We tried their classic flavor. It was pretty good. We should have gotten a different flavor. I'm sure it would have been delicious. They have some savory choices do you to try as well as other sweet ones. If you are into waffles, definitely give them a try.

BWC was serving at an event at my son's school and I luckily got a chance to taste a couple of their amazing Belgian Waffle creations. I ordered the Banana Split and my wife got the Sweet Strawberry. Both were delightfully fluffy and decadent. The staff was friendly and helpful with questions. All the parents seemed to enjoy their waffles too as their were smiles all around. If you get a chance to try this Food Truck, dont miss it!

Love this food truck!!! I got the oh la la, it had bananas, strawberries, and Nutella on top with whip cream ($9). The waffles are so fluffy here!! The PB & J waffle and the Nutella waffle is so good too!!! You don't need any syrup for the waffles either. They're good on their own. The guy that runs the food truck is actually Belgian too, so you know it's authentic.

Solid sweets and eats from that red truck with a big ol' waffle dangling on its side! Yeah I couldn't resist Belgian Waffology. I ran into them at Brewgaloo and did a drive by but yes, oh yes Belgian waffle, you will be mine... I roamed around a bit before searching out their truck. They've got three or four basic waffles with variants on toppings and flavorings. I go with a liege waffle with chocolate. It takes about 15 minutes, the truck is popular. I get a small paper container with a nicely browned waffle tucked in it. The outside is crisp and has some chew to it. Some nice quality chocolate melted inside and you've got a nice snack in your hand. At $6 it's not cheap but the overall quality is good. So thanks Waffology for your Belgian treats...

After discovering the original waffle in Liege, I was excited to try this truck at Durham's Food Truck Rodeo before they changed their name from Waffology to Waffle Crafters. I love the pure, plain taste of the classic waffle so that is what I always get. They are warm, sweet and just how they taste in Belgium. I like how they decorate with the Belgian flag and serve everything with a smile. Recently they came to our office and friend got the waffle with strawberries and whipped cream. If sweet waffles aren't your thing, they also offer some savory options with goat cheese and other toppings. I see this as a dessert option and am glad they are in the area! I believe they also have or had a stand at Southpoint in Durham we well. They are active on social media and you can find their truck on their site or instagram. Merci!

Super expensive for what you get and not worth it. Tastes the same as frozen waffles from the store
