Beijing Chinese Cafe

Online it says there open until 9:30pm. I called to make a Togo order at 8:45pm and the rude lady told me they close in 5 minutes. Bad customer service don't go there!!

This is an affordable restaurant, good selection of items, my daughter's favorite. I like their Lo main and the BBQ chicken the most, the hot and sour soup is good too. Is clean and quiet, has a rough looking exterior, plenty of parking.

Figured I'd give it a shot since they just opened.Lots of Parking. Clean Interior. Lots of comfortable seating. The Line was always stocked with food. Friendly Employees. Reasonable at 1.29 a Scoop. I ordered the Wontons and Sesame Chicken and Broccoli Beef. The Wontons Were kind of tough like they had been sitting to long. The Broccoli Beef was good. My Complaint is with the Sesame Chicken. Its small pieces not even classified as chunks. The one thing Dollar A Scoop places could learn is to use chunks like Panda Express uses in their Sesame/Orange chicken.

Cheap, periodically-delicious food. On a good day, this place definitively beats non-dollar-scoop style [Americanized] Chinese - aka better than takeout/delivery at most other local places. I'm particularly fond of swinging by to see if their egg rolls or rangoons look good (and let's be real, I still get some even if they're looking blonde and under-fried). On a bad day, the food is lukewarm and mushy. Your best bet for decent taste and fresh quality is to aim for lunch or dinnertime, even if there's food out at all hours.

This place is hit or miss. I usually get the sesame chicken, cheese wontons and egg drop soup. The first time I came here the food was really good. The last few visits haven't been great. I'm not a fan of inconsistency because you never know what you're gonna get.

I love coming here when i have a craving for Chinese food. I love the buttered potatoes. The down side to coming here is since its on colfax ave there are some shady people waiting outside and begging for money.

We've been eyeing this place since we moved in down the street and damn what a great surprise. This food is great, BBQ chicken, sesame chicken, black and pepper chicken, egg drop soup, steamed rice and cheese wontons is what we got. We spent $20 for 2 people with enough food for another meal, holy cow it was so good. Fresh, not greasy and cheap. Steamed rice was so damn good btw

Eh this place is okay. I don't know why I've been craving this type of Chinese food all the time lately but especially hot and sour soup. We came here around noon and it was pretty busy which is a good sign. But there was only ONE person working up front and probably one person cooking. He was serving the food and being the cashier so it took forever. Super inefficient. Maybe they need to have someone work during the busy times. The lo mein was salty and the BBQ chicken was dry and hard, but the pork was really good. Can't remember the name of it. The crab cheese wontons were okay, the skin was chewy. The soup was decent. The main thing that bothered me was the guy in front of me ordered fried fish and the employee used the tongs of the sweet and sour chicken/wontons to touch the fish. I'm allergic to fish so when he tried using the same tongs to grab the wontons for me I made sure he didn't. But still, the cross contamination irked me. Overall I guess the food was decent considering the cheap price. Maybe I should've went with the sesame chicken like every seemed to get.

Their food holding temperature is way too low. Second time i have experienced this here. Luke warm food is Russian roulette for food poisoning!!

Incredible! Good price for good food! My server was very nice. The egg roll was alright but everything else was delicious!! There is an excellent selection of coin machines for stickers and toys! The air conditioning is perfect, I was nice and warm on a snowy night!
