Bee Banh Mi

Went yesterday with a friend who was a fan. It was my first time and I ended up ordering a pork banh mi, but when it came out, the meat was not all that hot and I didn't like the smell/taste. Of note, I am neurodivergent and have certain taste and smell aversions which I try to actively avoid, but sometimes I'm unaware of one until I'm presented with a new food.Anyway, I spoke with a woman who, I believe, was the owner/manager and told her my issues. And I politely asked whether I might be able to switch my order and I offered to pay the difference. She would have been perfectly in her right to refuse, but instead she kindly let me order a new dish and did not charge me. I ended up ordering the beef pho, which was excellent. It was super tasty with a yummy broth that was great for helping with the lingering effects of a cold, especially with the jalapeños and Sriracha provided. Plus, I was able to take my leftovers home to enjoy later. I really appreciated her generosity and understanding, and definitely suggest trying the pho if you visit.I will also say I saw several people walk by with some of their drinks (e.g., the teas and smoothies) and they looked really good, particularly the smoothies. There was a set of kids that were definitely enjoying them.

This might be some of the worst Vietnamese food I've ever had. We ordered some food to bring on our flight back to Newark, but I don't think it would have tasted any better even if we had eaten it fresh. We had:-Spring Rolls - these were a joke. I've had spring rolls from a supermarket freezer that tasted better than this. I was also under the impression that these would have meat in them (like the typical Vietnamese spring rolls) but they were just spring rolls with a sad portion of cabbage/carrots inside-Pork Banh Mi - this wasn't bad but it wasn't great. It was the best item we ordered of the bunch, but is smaller than the typical banh mi-Salad Noodle Bowl with Chicken - they make this with bits of chicken breast (as opposed to a whole boneless thigh) and it was so dry. It also tasted old, like they microwaved it to heat it upPortions are small. An order like this would usually be able to feed me and my husband, but we were still hungry afterwards and ended up spending money on airport food anyway.

Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Myself, wife, and daughter went here for dinner. The restaurant is very small and appears to have a big takeout business. I always prefer to eat pho at restaurant and not bring home. We had a summer spring rolls with shrimp which were good. Shrimp was definitely marinated and peanut sauce was thick. I had the meatball pho and the broth was really good and flavorful. It sets it apart from Some of the other local pho options. All in all I the meal was really good. I will definitely go back. I want to try some of their bahn mi's.

Still great service and tasty food! Great lunch spot before we hit Costco. The Pho, sandwich and protein bowl was all so delicious!

The banh mi and salad dish were fresh and authentic ! This is a casual eatery and I got ours to go. Next time I want to enjoy a bowl of pho. The staff was extremely kind and the order came out quickly for a busy Friday night. I can't wait to go back.

Service was great. I am put off a little by having to pay prior to getting the food. The inside is nice. Quite a few tables for a small location. It was my first time eating Vietnamese food at a Latino owned restaurant. Don't let that throw you off. The phó was good. The meat was extremely fresh, and not previously frozen. I also ordered a crispy fried eggroll. The eggroll....meh. It wasn't cooked all the way. Luckily it was a vegetable eggroll. It was still doughy and soft in the middle. All in all a pretty good restaurant.

Great food at great prices tucked into a tiny restaurant in a small shopping center. Small menu so they are really focused on making great tasting quality food. Shrimp chips, shumai, bao buns, spring rolls, Banh mi. We split a good sampling of the menu and yes we will be back for more. Had a few of the dishes made spicy which gave them a nice kick, but not overly spicy. Place stayed busy the whole time we were there, but everything kept moving. They do a lot of take out as well.

Great place!I went on a self planned tour of Banh Mi shops in the Cary area and this was my first stop. Super cute place, was quite right at opening aside from some great music and employees. I ordered a Banh mi, tofu, spicy, and sat down with a cup of water. My sandwich was brought out: nice look! The tofu was fried and flavorful, the pickled veggies were nice and a good amount, the spicy was from a red chili sauce on the tofu and the bread was the only reason it lost one star: Banh mi bread needs to be a bit hearty, that cross between a baguette and rice bread/fluffy bread, and this bread-WHILE DELICIOUS-was not typical. It missed some cronchy aspects and fell apart a bit by the end.All in all, a banh mi I would have again!

Decent bahn mi. You order on line at the counter, so easy to add on or omit items. I tried the spicy lemongrass , which was crazy good. Also tried the grilled pork over rice, basic and tasty. Menu included pho and various drinks. Just off of 64.

Expensive (FJB) but good Pho. And good portion size. I'd eat here again. I had the steak and meatball pho, and my wife had the shrimp and vegetable pho. Neither of us could finish the bowl and are bringing some home for our next meal. Everybody who works here seems friendly.
