The food was excellent and was delivered quickly. The burger was cooked as ordered but wasn't dry or over seasoned. The rating is mostly because the outdoor seating was very tight quarters and we were absolutely swarmed by bees. Multiple tables of diners moved inside because of the pests.

I went here for the rooftop bar and loved it. They don't take reservations for the roof, so you have to order your drinks at the bar and then you are welcome to bring them up to the little 3rd floor roof deck where there are about 5 tables. I got the hibiscus drink and the watermelon/cucumber drink. Both were delicious. Overall, I have no complaints!

So I'll be honest--we came from the Public Garden Park and really had to pee. Starbucks was packed so we stumbled upon this joint. Lucky find!We weren't SUPER hungry so we had gotten starters, but we were happy with our find! This Beacon Hill spot leads to a very quaint part of the neighborhood near the famed "Acorn Street".Today is Labor Day so business was not as usual and they had such a busy weekend they were missing menu items. Nonetheless, food was pretty good! I highly recommend the Grilled Flatbread. Between the mozzarella, marinara, and basil, I was in heaven Also, the bathrooms are clean and are downstairs, in case you were wondering!

We had heard great things about the brunch at Beacon Hill Hotel, but unfortunately, our experience didn't match the hype. It took over 15 minutes for our server to come to our table. When they finally arrived, they mentioned they would send something to make up for the delay, which was a nice gesture. However, nothing ever arrived. While I didn't initially expect anything, it was odd to be told something was coming if it wasn't.At the end of our meal, when we were ready for the bill, we were informed that our check had been mixed up with another table's. We had to repeat our order to the server, who then took several minutes to sort things out, only to end up charging us for the other table's bill. Although the total was roughly the same, the whole experience felt disorganized and peculiar. The food was good but not exceptional. There are better brunch spots with more reliable service.

The bar is nice. It's comfortable and the staff are nice. I also think food is really good. However, $24.00 for one Aperol Spritz? You feel like you're being taken. I know we are in the middle of high inflation, but the same drink in the same neighborhood is $15.00 at The Whitney Hotel and at 75 Chestnut, and just about anywhere else in Boston.

I am sad to write this as we live nearby and I love when local places do well. We have gone here ~6 times since the reopening. Each time we went we were just two people, sat at the bar, and had very good food and service. Friday night, we had a group of 8 people in the dining room. It was a disaster. We arrived at 7:00, were promptly seated, and the waiter took our drink order. He returned 15 minutes later and said the bar was busy and it would be a little longer. I felt sorry for him and he was very apologetic. At 8:15, yes, 1 hour and 15 minutes later, our cocktails came. We had order food around 7:45 and it arrived at the same time. To say it was a buzzkill would be an understatement,. Again, the waiter was also mortified and they comped several drinks and a dessert but I would urge anyone who is having a larger group to question if this is the place to go. Toscanno, a favorite of locals, is THE best place but we were really hoping this could be another go to place. A sad sad evening that has unfortunately ended our journeys there anymore.

I was struggling to find somewhere to get breakfast on Saturday morning at 11:30 without waiting for 2 hours and thought I was out of luck. I saw this place on yelp and noticed it was right across the street and not busy. They do brunch on weekends from 9-2:30. I was seated right away at a beautiful outdoor table at my request. I got a latte which was fabulous and the beacon hill breakfast which included eggs, bacon, potatoes , sourdough toast, and half an avocado. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend!

I LOVE the revamped Beacon Hill Hotel Bar/Restaurant. The décor is gorgeous and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend the burger and the fried zucchini! Great for date night or for a big group.

What an amazing place to stay if you're in downtown Boston. 1 block from the public garden and Boston common, near the freedom trail, state house, city hall, downtown crossing shopping, all transportation and parking within a block. Still, with the ambience of a small hotel you feel like your stay is in the countryside of tree lined and quiet Beacon hill on the iconic Charles street. The staff could not be kinder and more attentive the senior manager Austin who speaks a number of languages, knows philosophy, well versed in the area and anything you want to know. James and Kattie, desk clerks and dinner reservations were at the top of their game. If service, food, ambiance and location is what you are looking for look no further.

Had dinner for the first time here on a Sunday evening (reservation was at 7 pm). First the positives: servers were friendly and initially attentive. Food was very good. Negatives: when placing first drink orders (around 7:30pm) we were told the bar was closed. Wine, beer, and "simple drinks" were available. Not sure why the restaurant was open and the bar was not. No explanation was given. After finishing our entrees, the server simply brought the check. When asked if dessert, tea, etc., were available we were told the kitchen was closed. This would've been fine but we were never informed that it was closing and if we wanted anything else to put an order in. For a rather high-end establishment the service should be better.
