Beach Bums Bar

I was I town visiting my friends who happen to live near beach bums. We decided to start our night here, but left shortly after arriving.They had awesome drink specials! Shots were like $1 the night we went. Our service was pretty slow and the place stunk like an ashtray. 4 non-smokers were definitely turned off by the smell alone.When I got home and checked my account I saw that they had over charged me about $15. I immediately called and disputed the charges with my bank and the funds were in my account within minutes. I don't get down with shady business practices like that. For that reason alone, they don't even the deserve the one star I had to give in order to even write this review.

This bar was alright at best a couple years ago. I've gone in from time to time in the last couple years on Fridays. It's as gettho as a bar on 2920 can get. If you walk in, you wonder if you're Jersey is good enough or if you're weave is the proper weave. If you are a girl, welcome. You're the few and proud (1 of maybe 3). They play shitty music and the staff is constantly changing. It's known in service industry as the place to work if you can't cut it anywhere else. If you happen to have a drink there by yourself, the regulars will mock you with the owner laughing. Unprofessional as they come. Avoid at all costs... It's out of the way of any decent bar and the drinks aren't cheap enough to be worth your trouble. PS... Lock your car Wish it was good since it's down the street from me.

I've driven past this place a ton of times and finally decided to check it out with my friends. Drinks were cheap as hell and strong. They have a pool table and dart machines. Looked like they were setting up karaoke before we left. The music was super loud. They had a really big screen on the wall playing music videos. The only annoying part was that the music video didn't always match the song being played. They played a mixture of country, pop, and rock. or the most part the music was good except there were moments it got into really old boring songs.

Pros: staff and owner are very friendly, best prices on drinks in entire greater houston area, huge space, darts, pool, poker. Amazing food. Cons: i don't live closer. Love this place! Great karaoke night and dj on weekends.

What I enjoyed the most is the game section of the bar. The service a bit slow and the bar allows smoking inside it. Otherwise it's a cool dive bar to hang out with friends and play pool.

The bar service was great. The food is only every other day so if you look at food at the bar only go in on certain days of the week.

My car back windshield got busted out with a brick here. I was literally there for like 30 min. Went alone had a drink and left. During the time I was there's group of random drunk girls were leaving. I literally had no conversation with anyone so I'm unsure who it was.. Came back the next day to ask if they had cameras facing the bar and they said yes but I had to wait for an owner who pops up whenever and couldnt give me a specific time to come back. I just called it an L.

Not a bad place to go hang out at, I like the bar tender. Big marvel guy, knows the area pretty good and they have texas fire crackers for the bar. A lot of locals come hang out and we meet some pretty funny characters there as well. A real laid back type if place

The staff is friendly enough, but it's a weird setup. The tvs don't have much in the way of variety. Most are playing just one game. Then the rest have music videos with the bartender and server's name running across in a loop. I think they cook once a week. Steak night. Other than that it's just drinks. Prices seem resonable.

Great dive bar! Pool tables are well kept. Great music. Great fellow patrons. Friendly service. I took an online date there; which is always awkward, the ambiance was perfect. Plus, letting her win at pool definitely changed the dynamic. we will definitely be back And play shuffle board or darts.
