bb.q Chicken PA Chinatown

I usually LOVE bbq chicken but I was so disappointed with my order this time around! I ordered 30 wings and 10 boneless and the chicken was very crispy but it was lacking in sauce. The wings and boneless chicken were not evenly coated. The sauce is usually my favorite & the best part! I will order again but please put enough sauce on the wings!

We ordered (rating): Colorful Fruits Ruby Tea with Crystal Boba (2.5/5), Peach Grapefruit Green Tea with Jelly (4.75/5)One of my favorite fruit tea drinks comes from here. This peach grapefruit tea they have going on that comes with jelly is my love. It's the sweetness of the peach with the sourness of the grapefruit (and REAL fruit pieces) and the texture of the jelly all working together in harmony. It is simply a perfectly concocted original fruit drink (as in, I can't get peach grapefruit just anywhere) and I'll stand by her. The only tick down in this case is that I ordered 0% sugar, but this was still too sweet. And I know this is abnormally too sweet for 0% sugar because I've had it in other Tsaocaa locations before and it hasn't been like this. My friend ordered their colorful fruits ruby tea which turned out to be this off putting brown color when it came out. Not to say that the tea was bad, necessarily (it did satisfy the fruit tea craving), but when you're actively trying not to look at the drink while you're drinking it, it's quite the unfortunate situation. Generally speaking, I've come to like Tsaocaa's fruit teas a lot more than their milk teas, but it really depends on what you get - some drinks could be great, and some might not be - as well as the day. So consistency is off, but they have a huge menu with some original drinks, so you can't go wrong with dropping in and trying something that catches your eye.

Always here for my go-to: Mango yogurt w/ crystal pearls. (Rich, creamy, and fruity as it melts in your mouth!)Never disappointed and still a regular here! They have a minimum charge if you use card. You can purchase gift cards for more value and get a rewards buy-9-get-10th drink free card.

We haven't tried Tsaocaa, but the chicken is crispy, juicy, and tender. We usually get wings and boneless chicken with sauce on the side. This Philly Chinatown location is better than other bbq Chicken locations we've tried in other states.So why only 3 stars? Because of the service. The staff is always rude, cold, and uninviting. This is just from a couple minutes of interaction from ordering over the phone or picking up food. At least smile or say thank you/you're welcome. It's basic customer service.

WOW great fried chicken, such variety in drinks as well! My friends and I got the 20pc Boneless Chicken, split half into Honey Garlic and half into Soy Garlic. WOw the Honey Garlic was delicious- a perfect balance of sweet, salty, and savory. The chicken was sauced to perfection- it was still crispy and warm. The Soy Garlic was good, but the sauce had a stronger raw garlic flavor that wasn't our favorite. The price was pretty ok, around $27 for the chicken, and the pieces were like small chicken tenders- enough to feed at least 3, maybe 4. The service was mixed, with some super friendly workers and some that could be more enthusiastic. Haven't tried Tsaocaa boba from this location but will definitely go back to get the chicken and boba combo!!

A good spot for korean fried chicken and bubble tea in the same place since you don't have to walk in the cold I really like the chicken, especially the honey garlic and cheeseling (only available for boneless). The bubble tea here is usually pretty good, but I don't really like the dragon fruit slush here as it didn't really taste like dragon fruit.

2 of my most favorite Asian food places in one. BBQ Chicken has very crunchy and tasty Korean fried chicken and Tsaocaa has incredible bubble tea! The combination of these two is just insane. This bbq chicken has really good honey garlic sauce with their Korean fried chicken. Their fries however are average and nothing too impressive. The other bbq chicken at H Mart in Elkins park has exceptional waffle fries that are the crispiest I have ever eaten. This spot is closer and still a solid choice. The tsacaa is located at the same counter and can be ordered with your food order. Their menu is huge and there are many different toppings. This place has great milk foam and amber boba. They also have regular drinks such as a strawberry slush which is out of this world. Overall a solid spot in chinatown. You can never go wrong with a bbq chicken. I highly recommend this spot!

The fried chicken I tried was a crispy delight, with a perfectly seasoned and flavorful exterior. The juicy and tender meat inside added a wonderful contrast. It's a savory treat that satisfies the taste buds - a definite must-try for fried chicken enthusiasts!

I love love love Tsaocaa'a slushes! We come here as often as possible, as the slushes just cannot be beat by any other place. Having tried Vivi, Teado, and Kungfu, I will always choose to come to Tsaocaa over those. The staff is quick and friendly, and the drinks are delicious. We don't love sweet drinks, but when you do 0% sugar, there is still a slight sweetness from the juice and jellies. I recommend the grapefruit, strawberry, and mango slushes, as they are the most refreshing ones on a hot summer day. They do have indoor seating available if you are comfortable. I haven't tried the chicken yet, but it does look delicious.

They have really bad service. When I walked in no one talked to me. And when they made my boba, the red bean in my drink went bad and they didn't check before adding it in. My drink was sour and tasted like puke. It was awful.
