bb.q Chicken Cambridge

Good wings. Ordered online for pickup. Was a simple process. Pick up service was quick. Quiet inside for week night. Got the 16 PC wings each for soy garlic, honey soy garlic, and cheeslings. We all had different opinions on the best flavor. Mine was between the honey soy and cheeslings. They are all crispy with moist meat. Honey and soy are sauce glazed in the wings. Cheeslings are dry powder coated by some sort of cheese powder mix. It's interesting, not a lot of places have it, and I recommend it. Overall, good wings. I would come for wings again.

I came here yesterday with a friend and it was nice to taste some familiar flavors! We ordered a small (which is a generous term as it's actually quite a lot of chicken) soy garlic and a small Gangnam Style...because I couldn't resist the name It's great that the chicken comes fresh to order. Note that rice is an extra. They also have waffle fries (really well seasoned), sweet potato fries, some other sides, and drinks on a separate menu to the left of the register. The Gangnam Style chicken (level 1 of 4 on their spicy scale, which is less than I would normally do) was delicious. Seasoning on point, with little jalapeño rings on top. The soy garlic was also nice and a familiar flavor from when I lived in South Korea. I'll definitely be back here!

It's Korean style fried chicken. BB.Q stands for "best" of the "best" "quality", so no actual barbeque for those who are unfamiliar with this chain. When Central gets a new popular chain, it's exciting not having to leave the area if you live near here. I think they have flavors for folks who love fried chicken and just as good if not better than other fried chicken or wing shops.BB.Q is in a lot of kdramas and a great solid options for Korean fried chicken. This location has limited seating so might be better for take out during peak times.

It's a small space with a few tables. Service is friendly. Ordered in advance on their website. I needed to make a change to the order and it was difficult to do that since their main website is partnered with door dash so I recommend just ordering through door dash if you want to place an online order. We found street parking right in front. Order took about 35 minutes to be ready. We ordered the soy garlic wings and the Gangnam wings. The soy garlic was perfect, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The Gangnam wings were less crispy, not sure if there was something in the sauce that made the outside soggy but it had good flavor - not very spicy unless you eat one of the peppers they sprinkle on top. Reheated them in the oven the next day and was just as delicious. Would definitely order again if craving Korean chicken wings.

We got takeout and were really impressed by the food! Even after the trip, the chicken was the perfect texture. The batter covered a lot of surface area giving a great texture and crunch while the inside was nice and juicy. Honey garlic was better than the Gangjeong flavor but both were flavorful and delicious. We can't wait to try more flavors!

I ordered Boneless (6pcs) with fried. It was good and fast. The price was reasonable. Next time i will try sandwich.

My husband and I own a restaurant in central up the street, and we were starving on a busy day when we had to much prep and paperwork to do, we got take out for the first time here. It was SO GOOD! I never write Yelp reviews, but since they are new in this location, people must know about how good the chicken sandwich is. I said it was the best chicken sandwich I ever had after each bite. Very dangerous for me that they'll be so close to us

Ordered the soy garlic tenders. Flavor was good but the chicken itself was awful. The meat was so tough and hard. I couldn't even enjoy it. I just peeled the skin and ate that and tossed the rest. Waste!!! 1/10Waffle fries well seasoned and perfect crisp 7/10. Sucks the chicken is awful because I will never go back just for sides.

Two times I've ordered from here the second time being the worst. This location DOES NOT GIVE YOU SAUCE. The first time it barely covered the wings. This time I ordered soy garlic. Only half of a wing would have a *hint* of sauce. None of the locations do their trademark smother the wings with sauce. The Cambridge location is the most egregious. To say I purchased soy garlic wings is a joke. I got regular wings with a tiny brush of sauce. I don't know ow what happened to this chain. They used to be so amazing. The Allston location is at least still pretty great. I won't be ordering from this Cambridge location again
