We sat down and at Bawarchi today. We are still learning what Indian foods we like and the lady was helpful in helping us order. The six of us shared several dishes. We ordered -Lamb masala-Naan-pudina paratha, garlic, aloo kulcha-Butter chicken -Samosa chaat-Aloo gobiAll the dishes were excellent. The flavor was outstanding and delicious. We ordered mild for everything and there was still a little heat in several of the dishes. The seating area was small but could easily seat 20 people. I recommend eating here and if we lived in town we would stop here often.

Small Indian Restaurant. I came here for lunch on a weekday and it was full by the time I ate and left. This place is small and kind of a serve-yourself place, other than getting the food. You walk up to a table, pick your seats, and help yourself to the register to grab the menu. When you are ready, you go back to the register and order. After ordering you will get your food and once you're done, you go back to the front to pay and grab to-go bags and boxes as needed. I got the Lamb Masala because I love me some creamy curry over rice. It came out within 5-10 minutes after order and it was delicious! My friend ordered from the lunch menu so the order came with naan. The food was delicious. This is definitely now my go-to Indian restaurant. tl;dr - delicious Lamb Masala, mostly under $20.

I have been ordering take out for a few months from this place. I can say that I never have had a bad experience.Usually I order the boneless chicken biryani. It has never been bad (dry chicken in the biryani is the most likely culprit), however I did get entirely too much cinnamon one time, which will cost it 5 stars. I did try the tandoori chicken and was pleasantly surprised! This might be the best tandoori chicken I have tried. It was also served over a bed of green colored rice and came with a green sauce. I don't know what it was made of, but it tasted good.Their prices are reasonable and they give you a cash discount. Attached is a pick of the tandoori chicken.

The food was amazing. I came here for a Sunday brunch and was treated with the best service and the lady was very gracious. Wonderful vegan options. It was a warm day and she had the fan face my table so I was comfortable in the atmosphere. Very down to earth ambiance and tasteful food. I'll be back with friends to share a dosa. :) Danyavaad!!!

Speedy service. Small restaurant. Always friendly. Price right for the value. I recently purchased the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was a great choice. The chicken is juicy, the tandoor sauce is creamy with the right about of spice and the Basmati rice is perfect as usual. This place is very consistent and I highly recommend it if you want to try Eastern Indian cuisine. #HastyFoodiePic

I'm new to Indian food (don't judge me, I've always been a baby with spice) but a friend ordered takeout for us once and I LOVE bawarchi. I've only ever ordered takeout but everything is always amazing. Every order comes with a side of basmati (ordered the mistake once to order sides of rice not knowing it already came with). The basmati is always cooked perfectly. I typically go with chicken tiki Marsala and the buttered chicken. NEVER forget to order the garlic naan.. so good!! They are conveniently on doordash if you're looking for takeout.

Ordered food to pick up for my family for Diwali dinner around 430pm. Set pick up to be ready between 535 and 545. I received notification that my order was received around 5 and that it would be ready at the time specified. Was told when I walked in after my pickup time that there was another 20 minutes left for my order to be ready. No surprise, it was more than another 20 minutes. I ended up getting my order 45 minutes after I walked in. I don't think my order was even started until after I showed up. Absolutely ridiculous. Would absolutely not recommend. The entire restaurant is filled with people who are here to pick up their food and being told it is another 15-20 minute wait. Save yourself the trouble and order from any other Indian restaurant in the area.

Used to come here often when I worked up the street. Haven't been in a couple years, and quality has definitely gone down. They used to have gigantic lunch portions at a good price, and the food was super flavorful. Portion size is down, prices are up, and the saag and chicken tikka masala I ordered were just average tasting at best. Samosa chaat was huge though, and a bit hit with my kid. But meal was just ok overall. With so many Indian options in the area, we likely won't be back.

WOW! BIG MISTAKE! Recently, friend of mine and I patronized here for lunch on Friday, September 15th at 11:30am. Entered and viewed 2 widescreen TV's with lunch specials listed. After some time, an Indian waiter escorted us to booth and gave us menus with NO LUNCH SPECIALS listed. Taped awkwardly to table top was label with scan in code~waiter was undetectable and absent from scene for long time~ finally showed up with credit card processor/order device to take order~ I was totally unable to understand his speech and projected concept. We finally just pointed to our selections, and specifically requested MILD seasoning. My lunch special came quickly, and was ICE COLD! My guests selection was served 10 minutes later~ It was a chicken gravy dish that could have been substituted as alternative fuel for an Indi car! I love warm & spicy, but tasted and immediately feared another hemorrhoid flair up! We finally sent back and waited another 10 minutes for chicken with no fire! We were brought with tofu! YUK! Then, waiter came back with card reader to process my credit card, and and wanted me to view screen after asking for bill. Advised need ticket, so he ran away in a panic & never came back! Finally, we went to front counter & spent another lonely venue there~ after some $40.00 plus change bill paid, I requested change for $20.00 cash, & was informed they were unable to break! (Wanted to leave tip, but was not able to) GOODBYE AND GOOD LUCK!

I have been going here for years and they usually make you wait a long time if you want to dine in or take out. I wanted to dine in and take out as well. I called them while i was 10 minutes away to place my order to tell them that i would be dining in and taking out a couple of dishes and the person on the phone refused to take my order and said i had to come in to dine in. He completely ignored the take out part of the order and when i tried to reason that I also had take out he was very rude saying that they follow rules and i needed to follow their rules The food here is not great either and the quantity and quality has gone down further. This was the last straw that broke the camel's back i guess
