We've been here twice and both times were incredible! The mozzarella and meat board is delicious! We especially love the burrata. The pastas are out of this world. Their menu changes with each season so we had the Spring menu.The service is also excellent. Our waiter gave good recommendations based on the type of dishes we were looking for. We will definitely be back.

I took my family, who were visiting from out of town, here for my mother's birthday, and we were expecting a great experience, as we had been eating our way through Atlanta with great success. We walk in and the restaurant is beautifully lit with an interior to match. Unfortunately this is the most impressive part of the evening. To say service was slow would imply movement of any kind. We ordered our appetizers and drinks at the same time, but everything took forever to arrive. My girlfriend was offered a wine sample before choosing a glass, while the rest of us ordered cocktails. The cocktails came out slowly but surely, followed shortly by the wine. However, the sample ended up being a full pour because "they were slammed back there.", which we thought was strange, as this was possibly the first time staff told me the nature of their kitchen in such an exasperated manner. Appetizers arrive and the friendly manager checks up on us and we tell him we're celebrating a birthday in which he congratulates my mother. The main course finally arrives and everything looks beautiful although the two people who ordered the pasta with crab note how little crab is actually presented. I ordered the fried chicken dish, which I believe was described as boneless chicken breast, and it was very delicious. However, as I continued eating, I bit into something incredibly hard--so much so that I thought I might have chipped a tooth. I bring this to the attention to the waitress and she sarcastically said something along the lines of "yeah sometimes chicken has bones in them", not even knowing what I bit into. That's when I knew I wouldn't be coming back. But what truly confirmed to me in an already annoyed state was when the check came and I realized no birthday treatment was going to be offered in any capacity after clicking the special occasion option on Open Table and telling the waitress and manager why we were here.Giving at least two stars because most of what I ate was good.

What a let down :(I booked this reservation as a surprise for my boyfriend birthday, April 15th. He loves Italian and I wanted to provide him the cheese pasta wheel experience. Bright side: beautiful restaurant, great waiter (forgot her name), mock tails available, and an amazing cheeseboard with yummy bread sticks. Down side: the experience. It lasted maybe 2 minutes and there was no interaction. It was not what I expected and I was embarrassed because I felt as if it wasn't a good enough surprise for him. Definitely not worth it, I would've preferred having more options for a better tasting pasta. He enjoyed it nonetheless because he's very appreciative but, my expectations were high and I was very let down. Never again :/

I have been seeing this spot in downtown Atlanta on TikTok everywhere. And I am a sucker for good Italian food. I went in there for an early dinner and sat at the bar. This place is gorgeous not as fancy as I thought it was going to be, but it's still beautiful and clean. The service was amazing. They checked on me every single time and they were super friendly. The pasta was divine. I love the brussels sprouts. I think these are my second favorite brussels sprouts in the world, and the cocktails were absolutely curated to perfection. I will return over and over again.

So, when I first tried this place it was new and I gave it a four star assuming they'd get settled and the food would be better. It was worse the next two times I went. I once went for happy hour and another for dinner. The pasta is just really basic and they have all this fancy stuff in the description but it really is basic and I got three different pastas the last time I went just to be sure. I've had a total of 6 pasta from here. Two were good: A squid ink pasta and goat meat pasta. Please put them on the menu and keep them there. The appetizers and meats are ok, but the pasta is just alright.Also their valet consistently pose a safety concern to the neighborhood and community with parking cars DIRECTLY on the sidewalks where people need to pass.

I first saw this place on social media being hyped by influencers, so I honestly expected the worst -- especially when I walked in on a weeknight, and it was mostly empty. However, much to my surprise, I had a great meal. The house-made mozzarella looked kinda gross but was so tasty! The meats were a bit pricey for the portion but tasted great as well. We tried two entrees -- one chicken parm pasta which sounded gimmicky but tasted great and the fried chicken which was also incredible. Service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. Overall, I'd definitely reccomend Bastone to others!

Came in for dinner and drinks with some friends from high school. Great service, classy atmosphere. Ordered a board with mozzarella, burrata, soppresata, prosciutto and salami to start, along with some calamari and a tomato salad. Dinner was the Tuscan fried chicken with polenta. Everything was delicious and portions were definitely enough to share. Again, service was above and beyond and Bastone was a great experience overall.

Came back again years later to see that there's no more $10 pasta :( and that price has increased to $14 BUT I'm ok with it because I feel like portion size and quality has increased as well. They also no longer serve the Hugo spritz I loved which is a bit disappointing but they still have a decent drink menu. My suspicion is that the menu changed seasonally.I ordered the arrabiata based on our waiters recommendations and SO MUCH BETTER than the cacio e Pepe.
