I can't speak to dine in but I've had carry out from here twice and have been impressed with their deep dish both times. Their sauce is a little thicker/chunkier than other deep dish competitors and the perfect amount of cheese and toppings. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite deep dish spots! Would recommend if you're in the area and looking for deep dish, or honestly it's worth a drive if you want a new spot to try! I've also tried the cheese bites and they were cooked to perfection. My husband has had their thin crust slices for lunch and said it was good too.

In a long list of Chicago staples for pizza, I've never visited bartoli's before and finally got the chance to. Stopped in for lunch, but also ended up grabbing dinner in the form of a deep dish to go. The lunch. Slice was a great size, hot, and delicious. Solid deal at $4.50. Service was fast and friendly! The Diavolo deep dish was fantastic. I forgot to take a pic of it tho :(. Love the crust they use - very similar to Gino's East cornmeal crust (I think the owner was a son of Gino's). The added spice was a welcome factor and added nuance to the flavor without burning up my taste buds. Will definitely be ordering from Bartoli's again!

So good. We got pizza delivered to a brewery nearby that we were hanging out at. Perfectly cooked, crispy crust, browned cheese, amazing sauce, arrived piping hot. Not much more you could ask for in a pizza delivery, honestly. Also, they were quick. This is very VERY good Chicago tavern style pizza. My go-to. Will continue to frequent Bartoli's - love it!!!

Bartoli's was a stop on the Chicago Pizza Tour. The deep dish slices are enormous and delicious! Our guide said they sell pizza by the slice, making it a great lunch option if you're in the area.

Bartoli's pizza thin crust is so good! It's my favorite thin crust pizza with sausage and the sauce is delicious but wait till pizza cools off it's super hot out of the oven fresh! I like to eat inside so I order my pizza on phone before so when I come in it's ready and no waiting! I also tried the minestrone soup and another winner! Bartolis I'm hooked !

Bartoli's deep dish may well be the best in Chicago. The sauce is perfection; with an amazing tang and only a hint of sweetness. It's like a rich, bold, 'Sunday Gravy' that the best Italian grandmas make, LOL. We got a simple sausage and pepperoni, and it had a perfect amount of meat. Sausage also had a nice spice blend going. The crust? Killer. Baked to perfection; with a buttery texture and slight flakiness. Crust on the bottom? Thick enough to withstand the onslaught of sauce, cheese, and toppings without getting too soggy.Finally, and this is important, let's talk about juice. The biggest challenge with deep dish is getting as little juice as possible at the end of the bake. This is where Bartoli's knocks it out the park. Juice is minimal; which, if I had to guess, is mostly the result of that sauce. Instead of the watery, diced tomato sweet mess you find at other places, the sauce is thick. As everything bakes away in the oven, there's not much initial liquid going on... GENIUS!We also got the thin crust alfredo with chicken, roasted peppers, and artichoke hearts. Incredible. The toppings, sauce, and cheese is not something they skimp on...this is very nearly a pan style pizza. Delicious.This is a place that deserves some serious patronage. Bravo, Bartoli's.
