Bartaco is a fun, hip, and tasty spot. I've been to a Bartaco before in a different city, and my experience was good but this one was better! This location is particularly nice because it's located in a shopping center where you can satisfy your hunger after or during shopping at the nearby businesses. Parking, however, can be a little tricky, but we were lucky enough to find a spot in front of the stationary store across the way. My friend and I stopped in on Saturday afternoon for lunch. It was hopping! We got lucky and got a couple bar seats. Our bartender was slammed, but quickly took our orders. We each had a cocktail - a Margarita and a Reviver. Both were fresh and tasty. My friend also had a Watermelon Smash and it looked divine! Ordering at Bartaco is seamless, you grab an ordering card and mark down what you want. Hand it off to your server or bartender and the rest is history. I can't believe how quickly we got our tacos! We each got 4 tacos. If you're starving, definitely order at least 4, maybe more, as they're pretty small, but mighty! We had the Pistachio Cauliflower, Chile Lime Shrimp, Crispy Shrimp, Sesame Ribeye, Falafel, Baja Fish, and my absolute personal favorite - Seared Pork Belly. YUM!! They were all delicious, but I could seriously eat 5 of those. Outstanding. Highly recommend this spot, it definitely hits...the spot!

We stumbled upon here after the movies and decided to give it a try. All the tacos are a la carte, which is great because you now have a variety of options to try. There's not much descriptions for each taco except the protein. Everything seems precooked as they come out very quickly. We tried the fried fish, pork belly, duck, grilled shrimp. The fried fish was hard. Seems as if it was cooked and stored under a warmer. Pork belly was flavorful and so was the duck. The grilled shrimp was spicy!Overall it was a nice experience. Service was wonderful.

My husband and I came here on a Friday night, and we only had a short wait before being seated. You can order with the QR code at the table or with a paper menu. This was one of my biggest gripes about this place. If I'm going to a sit down restaurant, I don't want to fill something out to order whether that be on my phone or a paper. Just have the server take my order. We filled out the paper. The paper menu doesn't describe what is on the tacos at all, so I had to ask and make sure they left off some stuff I didn't want. I got a pork belly taco and the sesame ribeye. We also got the street corn and duck birria. The duck birria was probably my favorite item I ate. It had a nice kick and was very flavorful. The tacos were good, but they were small. They say that it is served family style, which doesn't really make sense to me for tacos. However, if you're going to do that, make sure the servers know which tacos are which. You don't have one server for your table and instead have various people stopping by. The lady who brought us our food was very confused and had trouble telling us which tacos were which. Additionally, we both ordered drinks and had to be carded when we ordered them and again when they were brought to us. This seems unnecessary and was annoying. I really liked the food, but the service makes me not want to come here again.

It's been a while since I've written a review on Yelp, mostly because I have Celiac and once I've found a good 5 or 6 restaurants, I have just stuck with them to preserve my health. That said, I was in Raleigh for a weekend and wasn't feeling my usual options, and I love tacos, so decided to give it a go.--Food: I ordered delivery twice and ate in once. I ordered a crispy shrimp taco kit and a chorizo taco kit the first night and was blown away at how flavorful everything was. Having Celiac, eating Fried food is almost impossible, but their entire menu minus quesadillas and desserts are gluten free, and you couldn't tell. The shrimp had an amazing crispy corn breading and the slaw was super flavorful. I think the Chorizo was my favorite with a great spice and made it into my second take out order along with Baja Fish. The Baja fish was so crispy as well, a little spicy, and the lemon slaw amazing. Flavorwise, for sure 5/5 for all of them.If you eat in, you can order just one taco (you can't do this take out, you can only order 4 or 8 pack tacos), so I tried most of the ones I hadn't tried. The duck was good, but perhaps my least favorite of the lot. Still excellent though. Lobster, while tasty, was confusing as a taco filling (and a bit expensive, but it's lobster so yeah.) I really liked the Pork Belly and was way crispier than expected. The shrimp and chorizo tacos still probably my favorite, but it's fun to have a myriad of tacos to choose from.If someone is looking for advice on how many to get, I say probably 4 (or more!), even if you usually can't eat more than 2 or 3 tacos. I say this because they're not normal corn tortillas, they are small and are 2/3 bite tacos. They also have rice bowls, which I meant to try, but was too obsessed with their tacos that I never got around to it!--Price: A little on the pricier side, but it's upscale cuisine I feel. The lobster taco was $8, but the rest were around $4 a taco I think. For something so delicious *and* safe for me to eat though, I would (and did!) happily pay it.--Service: Everyone is super helpful, super nice, and inviting.--Environment: Feels a bit upscale in a really fancy shopping area. Parking was difficult, but I'm not a fan of those kind of complexes. If I go to Raleigh again I'm tipping even more for delivery because for someone not great at driving, it's difficult. Very nice area though.--Overall: Hmmm... Probably my new favorite restaurant. It might not be the most cost efficient, I can't vouch for group orders, and I haven't tried the non taco items, but I absolutely loved everything I ordered. Will be getting bartaco anywhere I go that has one, and I'm crossing my fingers for a Richmond VA location to open.

Was driving by Raleigh and swung by here for a quick dinner on a Sunday night. Took a seat right at the bar and have to say the folks working the bar were great. Super friendly and attentive and explained the different items on the menu. Got the rice bowl and a taco which were both good. I liked how the rice bowl wasn't too heavy but still felt filling especially with the taco. The vibe here was cute and your typical neighborhood bartaco chain. Cute place to come have dinner with the family/friends!

Our first time to this bartaco while visiting Raleigh - greeted by friendly Cali who was so helpful. Easy to use bar code ordering & payment system. Made it easy to order more tacos as we went. Ok, the food: we ordered guac & chips (delicious!) then an assortment of tacos- warm buttered lobster, pork belly, mahi & sesame ribeye. It's hard to pick a favorite they were all amazing! Just to end on a sweet note we ordered the churros for dessert - perfect end to perfect meal! Cannot say enough about the staff & their combined efficiency & great service! Our new fave stop when we visit!

This place is a joke. Yes, it's in NH but the portions you get for how EXPENSIVE it is, is crazy. You need to order 4-5 tacos to get satisfied. Each taco is eaten in 2 bites. The rice bowls? Kid portions!! $13 for very little rice & baby shrimp if you get the lime shrimp. Never again. Two stars only because of location.

We had dinner tonight at Bartaco in the North Hills section of Raleigh North Carolina. This is a trendy spot with a great vibe but don't be fooled, they have fantastic food here. The staff all work together to ensure that your dining experience is a pleasant one. The managers come around to make sure that their customers are not only satisfied but also happy with everything.I had a bowl of Chicken Tortilla Soup and it was delicious. It was very hardy and filled with chicken. I also had 2 chicken verde tacos and I enjoyed them very much. The Mexican corn should not be missed. They offer it on the cob as well as cut off in a bowl. Great experience dining here, highly recommend!

20 of us came for a Moms' night out and it couldn't have worked out better for us. Ordering was easy and fast. Food and drink was fantastic (watermelon basil smash was a huge favorite among our party). Justin, our server, couldn't have been better. The perfect venue for a large party with separate checks.
