Finally secured my Hoagie Dom reservation to try one of his amazing "sandwiches." I was beyond happy to visit Bardot. We grabbed some beers after checking-in to just chill outside at one of the outdoor tables (there was only 2). I was a little sad to find out that Bardot wasn't serving their general menu items, just Hoagie Dom sandwiches, which led me to feel bad for the patrons who weren't there for the event. Anyway, the sandwich finally arrived after a 20-25 min wait. It was insane!! The eggplant was perfectly cooked. The peppers, cheese and other ingredients were paired perfectly with the seeded roll. The sandwich was so big, I couldn't finish my half. I took it home for the next day and I saw many other "takeout" containers leave the establishment too. Hoagie Dom is killing the sandwich scene. I wish him well and hope to secure another reservation in the future.

After reflecting on my experiences here the last year or so, I've adjusted my rating of Bardot from 3 to 5. Bardot is a delightful, no-frills bar that exceeds expectations with its immaculate interior and exceptionally friendly staff. It stands out as one of the most polished (dive?) bars I've visited. A dive by some standards, there's a level of sophistication here. It's clean, water is freely available, and TouchTunes is typically on point. The food is good, although I wouldn't necessarily opt for takeout. Their beers are reasonably priced. The bar consistently offers a fun vibe and a secure environment. I might not rave about the food, but I definitely recommend stopping by for some affordable beer, straightforward cocktails, and a great atmosphere.

When Bardot first opened it hailed itself as a Gastropub and it certainly met expectations. It HAD both elegant well prepared food and a great selection of handcrafted cocktails. Post pandemic Bardot has changed and like many places needed to change to meet economic needs. Most of the pictures on Yelp primarily shows Bardot pre-pandemic. Now Bardot is more of a dive like neighborhood pub complete with pool table. The handcrafted cocktails are replaced by standard corner bar offerings and the food selection is appropriately suited to its current model with burgers, cheesesteaks, and wings. If you want a decent local dive like bar that can at times be a bro-fest, then this is the place. Down to earth staff and great pub food set in an eclectic atmosphere due to what it used to be. If you are expecting a gastropub that has offerings based on pictures from post-pandemic times, you will be disappointed.

These Yelp pics make it look classier than it is, not that it's a bad thing. It's not really my vibe but it's pleasant enough. I've only had the wings, tots, and cheese steak egg rolls and it's solid bar food. Bartenders are nice. Plenty of seats whenever I've gone, including on Saturday night.

What a great neighborhood gem! Not sure what we expected since even though we live in the neighborhood, we never really walk directly by Bardot. One night, friends who live a wee bit north of here (and we live a wee bit south) and us met here for drinks and a snack. It didn't disappoint!Drinks were good, they had an ample beer selection, and the staff was nice. The ambiance was just what we had been looking for in a neighborhood bar if I'm being honest. Something chill. We are big fans and we will certainly be back!

The vibes are chill, drinks are good and food is great. I always get the pierogies and cheesesteak egg rolls. I'd give this place 5 stars if the service was slightly better. I find that they serve you and then just disappear so you tend to be there longer than you'd like.

Great local bar in Northern Liberties. Good happy hour specials. Thursday night is cheesesteak night and they have beyond cheesesteaks in the menu.

Tucked away in an unassuming alley way of Northern Liberties, Bardot Cafe is a quaint joint with some pretty great happy hour specials and many friendly faces. I'm new to Philly, and this was my first adventure into Northern Libs at the suggestion of my new friend, Rob (Follow his blog, facebook, insta - @robs10kfriends). I'm always super excited to find a happy hour that extends beyond 6 pm, and Bardot's is 5-7 with a handful of $5 appetizers and all drafts 50%. The draft list is a mix of local and craft beers. I chose a watermelon wheat beer, and it was delicious and refreshing (and also only $3.50 during happy hour!)I'm not exaggerating when I say that you would miss Bardot if you blinked, because I almost did (and what a SHAME that would have been!) In fact, I had to take a few seconds before walking in because it was so quaint, I almost felt like I was walking into someone's home. The bartenders were super kind and accommodating which I really appreciated. The vibe is dim-lit and cozy, maybe even *dare I say*...sexy. Granted it was a Monday when I sauntered into Bardot, but there were maybe only 6 other patrons in the place. This made it super easy to have a conversation. Perfect for a date, and post work happy hour, or a solo adventure. I could see me coming here and setting up my laptop and chilling for a few hours. It's just a super comforting environment. When I left Bardot, I immediately texted my friend to tell her about it. Safe to say I'll definitely be back.

Local chill vibe with a friendly bar tender and a nice surprisingly spacious interior. While I only stopped in for drinks (pretty cheap for a makeshift citywide), the menu looks pretty intriguing and I'd love to come back for the sliders and ambience. There looks like there is enough room for medium sized groups to stand and sit at the taller tables and the bathrooms were clean. Wondering if they still have the pool table in the back.I'll check next time I go!

Watched the two young male bartenders tonight call out the only black man in the bar due to being unhappy with the tip he left them. They literally screamed out loud & pointed towards him, to humiliate the only black man there, in front of the entire bar. This place is a disgrace.
