Bar Nun

My buddy, his girlfriend, and I walked here to have some beers and drinksDefinitely not a bad place but definitely in an akward area.You can sit inside or outside in their patio area. Their bar is right in the middle.Their old fashioned wasn't too bad didn't expect multi cubes of ice.Definitely a great hang out spot for watching games. Plenty of screens everywhere and service was great, they kept our drinks coming.

Have tried to give this place a go against better judgement. Tried to call an order in tonight around 8:50 PM as yelp and the website so plainly told me I could. I live 50 feet from here, so I walked by with my dog as I tried. Key word, tried. Called 3 times to no avail. Tried the other day to do the same. This place clearly cares so lightly about having a customer they cannot simply pick up the phone. Likely why I walk by to an empty restaurant more times than none. If I was management, I would be embarrassed. The phone isn't even set up for messages. It's a recording of a message requiring an "access code to enter." How does a restaurant not even have its phone set up properly. If you cannot trust an establishment to have good service, pick up a phone, or set up its phone properly... how could you trust it to make good food? I won't.

Don't commit these crimes!#1 Never ask, upon entering the premises and grabbing a seat on the patio, if there is wait service or if you order at the bar. This will earn you your first slap of attitude. The reply is something like, "I'll get to you."#2 Never expect the drinks to come quickly after ordering. Enjoy your water.#3 Never take too long in deciding what you want to eat after drinks arrive because you will never get another chance to order.#4 Never expect good service, as noted by another reviewer, if you aren't a regular. They don't like you, they don't want your business.#5 Never expect the bartender, Randy, to give you anything if you ask for it. We were there for AN HOUR and he never bothered to come back to take our food order. He looked at us several times, even waved at us in this weird, cheeky way as if taunting us, but never returned to the table. It was as if he wanted us to just go away. And so we did. Never to return.BTW, this wasn't the first time I experienced this very same treatment from the bartenders at Bar Nun. This was my second time. Benefit of the doubt resulted in a waste of time and no dinner.*One shining comment: the Breckenridge Palisade Peach Wheat beer is completely delicious!! I would highly recommend it!

Such a fun bar to stumble across. I'm a Halloween freak and so the soooky stuff is right up my alley. The decor, ambience, and music playing was all such a great vibe. The drinks were well priced and the cheese curds were DELICIOUS. We were also several drinks in at this point, but damn they hit the spot!

Perfect neighborhood bar! Servers will ignore you until you flag them down but that's just how Denver service is in my experience, I don't really mind at all. Everyone is friendly, the space is cozy, drinks are cheap, pretty much all you could want in a neighborhood bar.

Bar Nun is a great, chill place to go to for brunch. It's a fun mix of decor that includes misbehaving nuns, Jesus with face paint, skeletons, and everything else in between. You can't beat their bottomless mimosas at $13 with an entree. This time I had their chicken tenders and waffles with spicy maple syrup. The syrup had a kick but added a great savory bite to the dish. My friend had the breakfast burrito which I have had before. Hers must have had a bad night because that burrito was definitely feeling salty. Friendly service with glasses that always remained full made up for it.

This place is such a cool vibe. Michelle is a great bartender and was such a sweetie pie. She treated me like we were best friends even though we just met. Def a neighborhood bar where everyone feels like family.

I like taking visiting friends here! it can get hot and crowded on a busy night but the service is still (most the time) very timely! be sure to check out the vending machine in the back!

First time coming here and the drinks were fantastic. Michelle the bartender made me feel so welcome and I will definitely be back to see her!
