Bar Lago

Decided to give Bar Lago Conroe a shot for our date night.Our overall experience was pretty good! I know they just opened up so there are a few growing pains I took into consideration.First, the atmosphere and the view were 10/10! We sat outside and had a lovely view of the lake. The interior of the restaurant was modern and clean.The food was awesome! We had truffle fries, chicken quesadilla, fish taco, shrimp taco, and chicken taco. I liked the chicken taco the best because it came with a soft tortilla. If the others came with a soft tortilla they all would have been 10/10!The drinks were AMAZING!!!! They are a little pricey but definitely worth it in my opinion. They were beautifully crafted and delicious!! I had the Margarita Del Lago and my husband had Summer Spice.The staff was very friendly and accommodating! We felt very welcome.The service was okay. We were told all items were made from scratch so each item was brought out one at a time.At the end of our meal, my husband asked for a michelada and 30 minutes passed by and he never received it. We paid and left.We probably would have stayed if the service was a little faster.

Great service, just opened and their flavor is just getting started so great opportunity to improve.

Very cool vipe! Smallish but intimate. Excellent Old Fashioned. A little pricey but what isn't these days. Indoor & outdoor seating with a view to the lake. Friendly staff. Haven't tried the food yet; the fare offered is small bites & appetizers. Parking can be somewhat of a challenge around dinner time as Bar Lago is situated within five restaurants. So we sometimes eat dinner at one of the restaurants & go there for drinks after. We really like Bar Lago!!

Excellent ceviche! Very authentic recipe from Venezuela with a rich tomato base. Service was solid and very friendly. Location is great.

Very small establishment, claustrophobic immediately upon walking in. Total swinger vibes on a Sunday. Went to Fajita Jacks. Got seated on patio near Bar Lago...with their "dj," dj Fire...what a joke. It was so loud and terrible. Do better guys.

Tried it during the soft opening it was great. Staff was awesome and the drinks were amazing. Tried one of the apps I believe it was the quesadillas and it was also good. Check them out give them a chance they are new and a nice addition to the area.

This is a great spot! For context, we go downtown often for drinks & food. We were pleasantly surprised at how creative this menu was. Also everything was SO well executed :) Decent happy hour menu. HIGHLY recommend the Chicharron bites and any martini on the menu. The service here is also top notch :)

Saw that you were open. Went to your website to check out the menu. Got really excited when I saw that you take reservations (see picture) clicked the link and it led to a button to call. Did so only to be told that you do not take reservations. Bummed because it is our 13th wedding anniversary and wanted to try a new spot.*update: we went any way...ticket times were loooooooooong and our app was unimpressive. May just be new opening hiccups. ‍ ‍

Only thing you guys have working for you in my opinion would be the wonderful bartender that was working this past Wednesday! Every drink my group of 4 ordered was spot on and delicious! The food was meh.. I didn't complain while there since I was hungry and it was edible. The main problem was the smell creeping from what I assumed to be a back-flowed toilet.. we almost forced ourselves to eat outside but it was way too cold. Again, LOVED our bartender. Of course I forgot her name and didn't keep the receipt. Oops! I'll try again if the food gets some seasonings overall a cute place. Bit cramped, but not uncomfortable.Edit: just remembered there was some entertainment- some guy pulled a knife on a drunk New Yorker for badgering him all night. That almost got super crazy

Great service! We had a few drinks and they were excellent!! The Charcuterie board was amazing!! We shared it with another couple and took some home! Definitely going back!
