We stopped over at Kapow Thai as it had great reviews and we've been trying to find some new spots. Overall I wasn't very impressed. First, the wontons were literally empty lol. There was maybe half a teaspoon of crab/cream cheese PER wonton. So it was off to quite a rough start as we love wontons. The red curry was ok. I loved the amount of vegetables that were in the dish but the flavor was nothing to write home about. The pad see ewe was also decent. It didn't have immaculate flavor but it was fine. I'm hoping sitting down the dining experience is much better but I definitely wouldn't order takeout again.

Kapow Thai will CONTINUALLY knock the socks right off your tastebuds!We've been here too many times to count, now. And, we've tried almost the entire menu of entrees. My other half absolutely loves their Pad Thai or Pad Kapow, while I can honestly say I've never had better bowls of curry than here. My favorite being the Red, Massaman, Green or Yellow!SO GOOO GET BLOWN AWAY BY KAPOW THAI. Curious about their customer service or serving size? Read my review below... Friendly staff, quick service, and the portions are generous so you definitely get your money's worth! I'm addicted to the basil fried rice.

I was craving some Thai food and found this wonderful hidden gem. Although I usually prefer more heat in Thai food, it was still very delicious and satisfying. I like that the food was very light and fresh.Customer service was fantastic and I really enjoyed talking with the owner. She was truly passionate about serving the best authentic food to her patrons. The restaurant has a homey, casual feel. I will definitely be back when in the neighborhood.

Very friendly staff. Their chicken panang curry with medium spice is our family favorite. Great to have quality Thai food in east county.

Taking a photo of my pad kee mow before I devour it. I'm usually a pad see ew gal but this is my new favorite: perfect umami flavor, yummy noodles, and veggies. And the service is lovely. So happy to discovered this gem!

We have been regulars since they opened. I think ownership changed or something bc it's really gone down hill. Quality and portions. My Kai Dao was basically a hard boiled egg. So gross. The grapow had no chicken or green beans

It's so weird to me that it feels hard to get great vegetarian food in Boulder County but...here in Lafayette that seems the case sometimes (example: ordering a vegetable dish and having it made from frozen vegetables.) well, we had a few things here for the first time tonight and wow. Lots of real garlic, fresh basil, and vegetables cooked perfectly. So pleasantly surprised
