Baja Burrito

Ordered delivery from Baja Burrito and they took special care to wrap everything with extra foil to keep it warm. The burritos, queso, and chips arrived hot and fresh! We ordered chicken burritos and the portion size was more than generous. We'll be ordering from Baja again!

4 years later, and Baja still has the best burritos in the Triangle. The fresh ingredients are awesome! The portion sizes are great as well!Try the nachos too. Yum! This is my favorite burrito spot over the past 10+ years.

My sweetheart took me here the other day. He is from Cary and I just recently moved here from the west coast. The steak burrito was excellent and huge!!!Packed with steak, rice, black beads, quest, and spices, it was positively filling and totally delicious!

This is a go to place for my husband when we come to Raleigh! He has actually been coming here for over 10 years.The menu is simple and the ingredients are fresh. You order at the register and by the time you walk to the end of the counter your food is ready! I made a burrito plate instead of having the full burrito. It was delicious. I recommend the mole chicken. It has a unique flavor and is shredded finely it's really delicious. All of the burritos come with chips but unlike most Mexican restaurants you have to request salsa for 55 cents.

The plan was to eat hibachi next door but it was closed. I was left with the choice of a burrito. I almost didn't stop in but I was running short on time. I decided to give it a shot. It was such a confusing process to order. Instead of giving me the slip to mark down what I wanted, she started asking me all of these questions. My instincts​ kicked in​ and I started to answer. It was like some sort of speed game. By the time I knew it my order was ready. Holy smokes but I wanted sour cream? What the heck, I paid and took the burrito anyways. As I was 3 bites into the burrito, I could feel some overcooked rice between my teeth. As a foodie and ultimate rice-eater, this is the most annoying thing ever. The fact that I'm eating harden rice and it's sticking onto my teeth. I lost my appetite at this point, opened the burrito and picked at it.Overall, the burrito didn't taste that good and I was really disappointed​ in​ paying $8. I wanted to say something but I felt passive because I was in a rush. If management is reading this review, please check your rice, make sure that it's soft and fluffy.

This is the best burrito in the triangle by a huge margin. The Pork Verde and Steak are great, but the fish burrito is life changing. Homemade hot sauce is a must and the salsa/queso are excellent sides. They're always quick even with a crowd and it's a nice casual place to eat. NC State's finest.

Based on the positive reviews (which I'm now noticing are two or three years old), I drove 25 minutes to check this place out. Quite possibly the worst burrito I've ever had. The tortilla was overly steamed to an almost pasty-wet consistency; the white rice was cooked to mush; the chicken was sparse; and the sour cream, guacamole and salsa that I paid extra for was limited to about 1/3 of the burrito at one end. If there was any cheese inside, I couldn't see or taste it. The chips were actually warm and tasty; but when I asked for some dipping salsa, I was told it would be 55 cents extra. There were only two people seated at a table at 12:30 pm, which should have been a warning. Also, the restaurant is located in an old, worn down, split level outdoor mall where half the stores are vacant, the stairwell up from the rear parking lot was dirty, dark and littered, and a few sketchy-looking individuals were hanging around. Needless to say, never again.

I love this place! They are always so fast, I got my order today the second I walked away from the register, and yes, it's right! It always tastes fresh, great portions and pricing, and complimentary chips are a plus. I've been coming here for 2 years now and they have yet to let me down

I have eaten here several times. Yesterday i ordered takeout for the first time in about a year. When i showed up to pick it up they did not have it ready, not the end of the world as they were able to make it relatively quickly (maybe they didnt pre make it because i selected the option to pay with my card when i arrived).The most disappointing thing was the food itself. I chose the vegetarian option and it was just kind of gross. Im sure if i had got something with meat it would have been good but i would really urge this business to make an effort on providing a more tasty vegetarian burrito.
