Bahia Bowls- Chestnut Hill

Had an absolutely awful experience at this shop. I hate to leave a negative review, and tend to only want to highlight a business, but this was an unreal experience. We ordered two smoothies at about 10:15 and noticed there was three groups already sitting inside. After waiting about ten minutes, not a single person had received their order and we started to notice how frustrated others were. We then waited over 40 minutes for two smoothies. We received one and waited easily over 5 more minutes until we received the second. When I asked if my smoothies was coming the girl behind the counter stated yes and they only had one blender. While I understand that situation, we were the only two left in the store at this point and if their excuse was takeout orders, it's insane to put those before those in the store. When I received my drink she passed it over the counter saying "Here you go" and turned around. No apology or anything which is just so unprofessional after making someone wait 45 mins for a smoothie. So $20 and almost an hour later we left with two mediocre smoothies. I will never waste my money or time coming here again.

I used to order from here obsessively on DoorDash and finally made it into their actual store. Clean and quiet with a few tables that you can park at for waiting or enjoying your treats. I got my usual green smoothie bowl with whey protein, flax seed, almonds, and some extra strawberries and the total came to around $17. It was my meal for the day so worth it for me. It's $15 minutes away from both my house and dance studio so I'll be stopping by more often for sure.

We ordered two smoothies and ended up waiting 30 minutes. I'm not even exaggerating. It was comical. They had 4 people working as well. I don't usually leave reviews but I'd avoid this place like the plague. My friend's smoothie also tasted like blended ice. No way I'd pay $10 for something like that. Go to the cafeteria style restaurant strip down the block instead.

It's the service for me at this black owned my food was delish I never had avocado toast this tasty. And the smoothie was on point. The atmosphere was chill it's definitely a treat.

On the search for some good açaí bowls close to my area I came across this little gem Bahia Bowls!!!I ordered on Uber eats so I can only speak about the açaí bowl not the establishment..... yet! I always get an açaí bowl with peanut butter omg so freaking good!!! The fruit was very fresh granola had the crunch I was looking for, banana, berries I want another one just writing about! This place can easily become my go to spot! Something else to add I literally ordered about 48 minutes before they closed. You would think a place would just throw together any old thing but what you see on the pictures I added was what I got! Perfection in a bowl!Will definitely recommend Bahia bowls to anyone who wants quality açaí bowls!

Bahia Bowls opened in Chestnut Hill right before the pandemic hit but its flavorful offerings are helping it survive. The bowls and smoothies are a perfect light lunch or snack. I especially like the fruit bowls with the Pitaya Bowl being my favorite. It is so tasty. Remember to stir it up when you go to eat it as the delicious pitaya is on the bottom. As Bahia Bowls is only a very short walk from where I live, I will be crossing its threshold many times. My taste buds and stomach will not be complaining!

A great and delicious place to eat smoothie bowls and more. The kids loved it! The service is good too, nice and speedy and the workers are delightful! The ambiance is nice no music though it's fun as long as you have a conversation.

Absolutely the biggest waste of time and money. Waited over 40 minutes for 3 wraps, 2 of which were a sloppy mess. The other had hardly any filling and the grilled chicken I paid extra for was missing. So, the $14 wrap was honestly not even worth half a that. Of the 2 smoothies, one was good but nothing special and the other tasteless. Will not be back. So many other local places to go to.

Absolutely delicious açai bowl and smoothie, which was perfect for a warm summer day.
