The bagels and cream cheese were delicious... almost delicious enough to ignore the fact that the staff couldn't care less if we were there or not. Everybody has a bad day from time to time, so I'll chalk it up to that. Make the stop, the variety is great!

I placed an order ahead of time on the evening of August 19th to pick up at 7:10 on August 20th. When I arrived, at 7:00, the place was dark. At 7:15 I called another location asking if the Sansom location was closed and they said it should be open. They called me back shortly after and said the Sansom location was closed for the day and I could pick up my food from a different location. Kudos to the other location for making it happen - but I'm very disappointed that they took payment in advance for an order they didn't/ couldn't fulfill. The least they could've done was cancel the order or call me instead of having to find out the hard way.

Recently tried Bagels & Co and so thankful I did. I haven't been totally wowed by any Center City bagel places until now. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese on a bagel and it was delicious. The Everything Bagel was light, fluffy, and perfectly seasoned. A+ on this classic breakfast sandwich! In addition to all the classics, they have a few unique flavor selections in their bagel (Oreo, French Toast) and cream cheese (birthday cake, zaatar, sriracha scallion) offerings. If you want to stay to eat, there is seating for about 8-10 people. Only negative of my experience was the wait time . Next time I'll try to order ahead:)

This bagel place occupies the store where Goldie used to be. It has interesting bagel and cream cheese varieties. I don't think I can find Oreo bagels anywhere else. They showcase the cream cheese spreads in a glass display next to the register. You will definitely see the eye-catching blue Cookie Monster spread. Other unique spreads are maple bacon, chunky monkey, zaatar, honey nut. If you want to try, you can get the spread in a small container. Chunky monkey has slices of banana, so I recommend to consume it right away. The bagel is quite large and it's very soft inside, not too salty. The everything bagel has perfect saltiness. There are some seatings to enjoy the bagel or to wait for the order.I took a star down because it took at least 15 minutes to get my to-go order of half dozen and several small spreads. Three customers who came after me got their orders before mine. The lady who got my order was apologetic.

Online ordering system is ambiguous to say the least, so user error is at fault, but this experience was ridiculous. Ordered a burrito and thought I was checking the things I wanted to eat (took a screen shot of the ordering system as an example), instead was apparently telling them not to include it. So I got a wrap with bacon, hot sauce, and ketchup for $9, with an added order of bacon for an extra $2. Also ordered a bagel not toasted with plain cream cheese so naturally that was just a bagel tossed in a bag with nothing else. Didn't find any of this out until I was already 20 minutes away. After standing at the counter for five minutes being ignored while the solo worker labeled backup containers. So, in summation, a wrap with six pieces of bacon and two complimentary condiments, a bagel with nothing done to it, and a coke cost me $21 including a $3 tip. Maybe I am being overly petulant, but this place can suck a whole bag of dix.

Had the BEC delivered to my hotel. Totally hit the spot! Delish. I'd definitely consider having again next time in Philly.

1 of 5 Bagels & Co locations that has cropped up in Philly, this one up a half flight of stairs in the old Goldie location. I came the day after the opening and the friendly cashier informed me up front that it would be a ~5 min wait for bagels that were being carted in from another location...even though it was already 30 min past opening time. I chalked it up to early business wrinkles, and all the patrons seemed patient and understanding as we sat/stood across the low-bench seating and counter-level stools. There is an impressive variety of bagels and cream cheeses including the classics and some wackier options; while there is a vegan cream cheese, there are no light cream cheese flavors. I opted for the Egg Everything (the gamut of Everythings are available with Regular and Whole Wheat as well!) with Veggie Cream Cheese. I liked that the bagel had a good chew and wasn't too salty, but found the cream cheese proportion a little skimpy.

1-star. 1-word. Horrible. First, I Pre-ordered 6 bagels and upon waiting 25 minutes after my pickup time standing in line inside the restaurant. (after already paying) they had not one type of bagel i selected. Tons of people are also annoyed about something, and the people working there couldn't care less. If Long lines and Horrible service is what you're looking for, this is your place. Save your money, time, and sanity.Update: bagels are not good either. Plenty other better bagel stores in Philly.

My recent visit to this bagel company left me pleasantly surprised! I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel, and it was more than satisfying. The added bonus was the Jonas Brothers music playing in the background, which created a fantastic vibe. Service was quick, and the quaint atmosphere on Sansom Street was a delightful touch. I'd come back to try all their fun bagel flavors.
