Service: 7/10 jake was positive, upbeat and did well given there was a large group of some HS travel team in the restaurant tonightFood: 8/10 May have been what I ordered. Calamari was sizable, lightly fried--should have cooked a lil longerCaesar salad was great--asked for extra croutons but should have asked for extra dressing Mushroom ravioli was tasty, fresh. The sauce is rich, a deep, hearty, savory flavor, would have preferred ravioli in a lighter sauce/fare but overall really rich and tastyThe 8 is really because the food was fresh, hot, and tasted homemade/authentic as the restaurant is known for.I'm coming back again and will be rotating through the pasta dishes.Overall 8/10Got photos of calamari and Caesar but dove straight into the ravioli and did not snap a pic.

Always a go to for classic Italian food! We've had many a special dinner here - the service is always attentive and the food is always delicious. Some favorites include the bolognese, penne Ala vodka, and the bread!

I'm not sure what to think of this place. I've eaten here a couple times and gotten takeout and it's like the personality of the food changes each time. Definitely a solid place to grab a bite. There are lots of options on the menu. But the inconsistency is difficult for me to get past. The bolognese is awesome one night and mediocre another night. It's not bad per se, but for the price point the consistency needs to be there. My personal favorite is the bolognese so maybe that's why I'm so picky about it. When it tastes amazing one time, I want it to taste at least mostly amazing the next time.If the food consistency tightens up a little definitely a 4/5 stars!! The inside is super fun and just has great personality. I really like when a place takes so much care with creating ambience that makes a place special. It can get pretty loud so be aware of that during peak times if you're going to eat inside.

We were greeted and seated right away. We sat outside on the patio which was awesome. The waiter was attentive. The food was Wow! Great Choice. The chucken alfredo was great. Add shrimp and have it blackened. You will not be dissapointed.

Recently ordered pizza from Babymoon Cafe when in Durham for a visit to Duke Medical Center. After a long drive and 3 very tired people, we were looking for an option to deliver food to our hotel. Babymoon was what we selected after a Yelp search.The transaction was seamless - a super friendly and efficient person took my order via phone. She even asked if we needed plates, napkins and forks. Around 45 minutes later, the pizza arrived. It was still hot and so good! It was a New York style pizza, and the crust was delicious. We chose pepperoni, mushrooms and extra cheese as our toppings, and they were all tasty. We'll definitely use them again when we're back in the area.

If you talk about ambience, patio seating, their cute sign this place has all the makings of a cute date night spot.I had been to Babymoon cafe years earlier and remember the food being decent. I am not sure if pandemic changed up things but my recent visit was very disappointing.The place was buzzing and we were promptly seated. Our server seemed a little confused but was sweet. Our fitst order came out wrong but was promptly corrected. The margherita pizza was okay, nothing special and the fresh basil flavor was missing. We were also given an additional side of focaccia for the mistake. I would really like to give them points for Customer service. We ordered pesto pasta as well; the spaghetti reminded me of something straight of grocery store shelf. The peato sauce was heavily watered down, no seasoning and flavors were lacking. I was so disappointed that a picture was last thing on my mind. Tried to bring it home and salvage with some additional seasoning but the pesto sauce was really off. I really hope they work on their pasta flavors because for the price quality was really missing. This place has huge potential due to it's location and ambience, but they really need to get the food right.

Definitely a fancier date night but one of the best I've had. The staff is so friendly and attentive. The food was so delicious and the portion was filling. The decor and twinkling star ceiling are simply magical. Highly recommend the lobster ravioli!
