The place has BBQ in the name, and they deliver on the meats. Smoked brisket was tender and juicy. My friend had the St. Patrick's Day corned beef special. It was smoked!! Everything I love about lean, juicy corned beef, only better.Sides are average. Onion rings were meh. Slaw was ok. Servive is nice and quick.

Dropped in randomly on a Sunday afternoon for dinner. This place had been on our radar for a while so why not get some grub. Wasn't aware you need a reservation - as it comes recommended. However the female bartender found us a table in the back. Thank goodness it was only two of us. Our server Chloe quickly greeted us and got our orders. We decided on the Chicken Sammie for me and a chopped brisket platter for him paired with a lobo dorado. For sides, we chose kale salad, Cajun smashers and Brussels. The food arrived quickly and we dug in. The chicken sandwich was good. Nice cut of chicken and the crisp was spot on! I wished the heat wasn't vinegary rather they use one of their house sauces. But overall delicious. The kale salad is fresh and I'd eat it for a nice lunch. The chopped brisket was good but the portion size for a platter was small. I felt I would've been able to make just one sandwich. Most bbq places offered a platter worth for filling your stomach with leftovers. The Brussels were decent and the Cajun smashers gave loaded potato vibes. Didn't taste the Cajun. We were still hungry and ordered the giant wings. They came four for $15. Nice crisp but the sauce to pair is super small. Doesn't cover one wing. We thoroughly enjoyed the food - quite delicious, but the price versus portion has me on the fence.

You walk in and you are welcomed with the warm regards of the staff. The place is perfect for grabbing a drink and a meal. The smell is perfect. It's a mixture of bbq and bonfire. I got the brisket sandwich and it was perfect.

I used Babygold to cater my wife's birthday party of 40+ people. Molly H was incredibly helpful with assembling a menu and recommending different options without pressuring me into things I didn't want/need. Molly also coordinated table and chair rentals through Fitzgerald's. Everything was delivered on time and by friendly staff. And the food was amazing! We got a smorgasbord of meats and sides and everything was spectacular. So good that many of our guests said they plan to use Babygold for catering in the future!

Great bbq spot next to Fitzgeralds . Service was great and atmosphere was homey . We got the pulled pork platter. Mac n cheese was delicious, great waffle fries and Brussels sprouts. No one was a fan of the smashed taters, lots of sour cream . Loved the place.

Big fan of Babygold. Can't go wrong with brisket here, on its own or with some macaroni and cheese. The seasoned waffle fries are awesome. I also recommend the turkey club sandwich for a change of pace. Service on site or for pickup is detailed and super friendly. Plenty of refreshing beers, including the Babygold Coldbeer, along with great cocktails and wines. I've only sat outside when eating there, and you often get a listen to fantastic live music if there is a concert at Fitzgerald's.

Finally made it to babyhood. Brisket was good. Sides were spectacular including Mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts. Yummy enough that I stopped by their downtown outlet the following day for lunch. I may have a new addiction. Loved sitting out on the patio with the live jazz on a summer evening. Service was friendly and on point.

The food - Amazing! I got a bbq ends sandwich, beans and fries, and it seemed like something special. I really appreciate when a place can elevate a simple menu item, Babygold does that.Service - Very friendly. I was there the first day the patio was open this year, so it was dead outside. Had fun chatting with various staff, good vibes!Ambiance - It doesn't get much better than the outdoor seating here shared with Fitzgeralds. I know it can get crowded, but that's also a fun scene if it's what you're looking for.Overall, I can't wait to go back!

I have no complaints on the quality of the food, but we catered our weeding from here on 7/20/24 & needless to say 2 hours late with the food, and it was all cold. Than had to wait for it all to warm up in warming dishes. NO APOLOGIES from anyone associated with the company whatsoever!So needless to say I do not recommend there catering.

100% not worth the money and it's not real BBQ. The portions are ridiculous for what you pay. The food taste was mediocre at best, and it was mostly a ripoff. $25 for 2 small slices of brisket. $18 for 2 little sausage links.... Go to the gas station and get some beef jerky instead. June 6, 2024
