I've been to Baa Baa a few times over the years but haven't been in awhile. I took a trip to Houston a few weeks back and popped in on Saturday afternoon with my fiance. They specialize in IPAs and fruited sours but also have a few more traditional options as well well. The IPAs were good but not as great as I remembered. My favorite was the Dr Lecter which had a good Dr Pepper marketing label. If you're looking for more west coast types vs hazy, you might be out of luck though. On the fruited sours, they are up there with the best in Houston along with Urban South. They have several different series of different mixed sours that usually include chocolate and different fruit. They had a key lime sour that was pretty good this time although I don't think I could drink a whole one as it was pretty acidic. Tasting flights are likely the way to go to try different things and I appreciate they offer that. It's also cool they sell single cans to go and their prices aren't bad for what they are. There are a few things I wish they would do better though. They don't list their beer to go options online at all which is weird for this day in age. They also don't label all of their cans...they'll have Candy Baa or whatever the series is but not necessarily what the flavors are which is unusual. Last thing is that they didn't have any of the to go beers besides Dr Lecter on draft so it was hard to try something to decide if I want to buy it. Overall, these things wouldn't stop me from going again but for as good as a brewery as it is, it would be cool if they addressed them.

For such a small space they have plenty of seating and a HUGE selection of beer. If you love hazy IPA's or fruited sours then this is a can't miss destination. Definitely worth the drive out to Brookshire. They're only open on Saturdays but they have beer to go to get you through the week.

Always enjoy visiting. The team is always very inviting and helpful! Will forever love Baa Baa. We came once upon a time..long ago.. before the taproom was even a taproom. We showed up when it wasn't even open but the owner was here and let us sample a few beers and we took home some cans of Calvin and Hops and Wool-street. His friendliness kept us returning, even during Covid when only drive thru orders were available. This should be on everyone brewery bucket list!

This little brewery is a sweet hangout with some great beers. Only open on Saturdays 5-8, unless you sign up for the Breakfast Club on Sunday's. NEIPA P.s. I love Ewe is a super duper beer that we had at Murdoch's and with a little research, bought a groupon and ended up a week later at the Brewhouse. It's close to Katy, not a far ride, and you pass the new Buc-ee's on the way. The back area is filled with picnic tables; which look to be put together by the people's plaques each table holds. (They could use a sanding!) A friendly atmosphere for dogs and kids! We came to have the beer called FU HARVEY aka Cat4 Smooth and tasty with a punch- it's about 6.9% The Groupon was for 2 people to have 4 tasters and two 32oz growlers. Unfortunately, they ran out of the growlers and were able to get one and they gave us two cans alongside. A great deal, a great time, great people! We chatted with two other tables about the hurricane while drinking our hurricane beers, cheers!!

Very cool find a little outside of Katy. It's located in a warehouse so the location can seem a little confusing but it is a cool place to come with friends or go for a date night. I'm not a beer drinker but my friends said the beer is pretty good. It's all their own brews. I see five beers on tap on the menu and they are $5 a pop. Dog friendly and kid friendly. They even have some play toys in the backyard for kids to play with. No food is served but they have a little dish of pretzels.

This was a great place!! The customer service was incredible. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The beers were delicious; I just remember thinking they remind me of juice. They also had delicious food on the premises. I ordered a banh mi that was full of fresh, crunchy veggies and meat and tucked into soft chewy brass. It was delicious and so memorable, but maybe because I was hungry.I really wish I had taken more photos and kept a list of the drinks we tried, but it was so good, I was living in the moment! I can't wait to go back!

I think my favorite part is seeing the can label design. They're always so unique and artistic. This place is quite pricey. It's not a beer that you can frequent weekly and keep a case in the fridge. They put out different flavors, which makes you want to, but the price point makes it hard. We've only been inside to drink one time and that was years ago. It's very small inside but it's got a good vibe. There's a little bit of outdoor seating as well. It's just in an industrial shopping center, So it's not like it's got great views or great location. During Covid, we used to just do the drive-through pick up. My husband got really into fruity sours and was introduced to this place. It's not really, hang out unfortunately. But hopefully they can get things going really well for them and put together a place like Saint Arnold or No Label - would be cool because they do have a very unique style of beverage.

A true microbrewery! It is a small place but loaded with a passion for beer. The place is also family friendly. The beers are delicious! I feel other breweries in the katy area have become mainstream..but not this place! I hope it continues that way.
