Round two because it's now a regular part of the roster! Originally wanted 1 brown stew chicken, 1 jerk chicken and 1 oxtail dinner but the restaurant called to replace the brown stew as they were all out. Everything is always so good and honestly you can't go wrong!

Anyone who knows me knows I was a fan of the late Anthony Bourdain. He visited a lot of Miami restaurants in his time and this is one of them. This one is in little Haiti I have not eaten there yet but I definitely want to.Whilst here he ate - jerk chicken, curry goat, roti and cow foot soup

Look, if you're a fan of Caribbean food, THIS. IS THE. PLACE. TO. GO! Transparency first, the place does not have a lot of space to sit down and eat, it's basically a Jamaican mom & pop shop, with a kitchen in the back. But DO NOT BE FOOLED, the food is TOP NOTCH in this joint. In addition to the food being amazing, the hospitality is remarkable and unsurpassable. The gentleman who is the owner of the store is an absolute darling, and he is so kind and soft spoken! Now coming to the food - the Jamaican Patties are SO SO SO SO SO SO GOOOOOOOOD! Don't sleep on these. Eat some, take some home. We were returning to Chicago the next day, and my friend ordered some telling the gentleman she was going to take some for her kids, and he gave her a bunch of frozen ones so they'd last - I thought that was just such a kind and wonderful gesture! My friends all ordered the jerk chicken roti, and I ordered the goat. They all loved the chicken roti which came with a jerk sauce that was amazing. My goat roti was FANTASTIC, the Daal inside the roti was flavorful, and the goat meat was LITERALLY MELT IN YOUR MOUTH SUCCULENT. I could not get enough of this roti, and took one to go! I also took an oxtail dinner that was finger-licking good! I polished everything off with a Kola Champagne and a Pink Grapefruit Ting drink - mannn, this brought back all the memories of the time I lived in the Caribbean. You can be ABSOLUTELY SURE that every time I visit Miami, I am coming back here, without fail. Every. Darn. Time!!!!P.S - this place serves HALAL meat, so there's that perk too!!!

Decided to finally give this shop a try. Sadly it was horrible. As a Jamaican oxtail is my favorite dish and it was thoroughly disappointing. It was cold and had strangest taste not to mention the coloring was a bit off. Nothing savory about it. Threw it away. I couldn't believe this was the almond cake presentation, taste wise it was not bad but not worth it. My first and last time.

Saved my appetite and set back out on a journey to my favorite Caribbean market! Featured is my favorite vegetable roti, goat roti with 2 Caribs. That pepper sauce is a must with a some cabbage on the side. Then took some oxtail and rice and peas for dinner. Guys, no joke... set out for a flavor explosion. Careful with that sauce, caught me off guard today.., but a must!! Homemade!! Get the beer, get the roti, take some friends. Eat and enjoy!

From the minute i walked in and saw the legend Anthony Bourdain picture when he visited an&M market on the wall i was sold!!! The owner i believe which was this sweet lady came out and spoke to me and gave a little history about the market , how Anthony Bourdain filmed there for 4 days , etc... super friendly staff which i love. You can see them cooking from the outside while waiting for your food. I will start by saying this is THEE BEST CARIBBEAN RESTAURANT IN MIAMI HANDS DOWN. The flavor of the curry chicken and stew beef along with the rice and cabbage was spectacular. I can say this was a PERFECTLY SEASONED MEAL. Like WOW! This will be a regular from now on. I will come at least twice a week and get food to go, if you haven't been here please make it a priority to go visit and try this delicious food that's made with live!I'm upset that i didn't take more photos. I will take more next time i go visit.

Places like this are a dying breed. Far off the beaten path and some may be intimidated by the neighborhood. But it's almost like street food, lesser decor and rough around the edges......a breath of fresh air in a city where everything has to be brand new, shiny, and instagramable. The rhoti with jerk chicken was smokey and fresh. The rhoti was light and fluffy, while the chicken had a mildly fragrant jerk seasoning flavor. The market cat completes the ambience and the service is more than friendly.

Amazing food at this hidden gem! All of it was delicious, but the oxtail was probably my favorite. You have to try their homemade pepper sauce! All of it tasted like your family was in the back cooking. We got some authentic Caribbean spices/ingredients in their market area too. Owner was super sweet as well and we will definitely be back.
