Avila Bistro

We've been buying the Pan de Jamón from Avila for a few years and it's become a staple for our Venezuelan Christmas. The olives provide the salt/acidity whereas the raisins add a touch of sweetness. This year, the bacon was pretty fatty and felt a bit undercooked which is why I gave this a four rather than a five. I'd like to note that previous years, it's been perfect.

Arepa was very good. Service great but the $12.50 marquesa supposedly made with Nutella did not taste like Nutella and was way too expensive for this type of eatery or for the quality of the dessert. I would recommend this place but will stick to ordering food and avoiding the dessert.

I am Venezuelan but have lived in US all my life!! I have been coming to Avila Bistro since they opened. Always for breakfast. El Andino with my daughters. Today I went and had the best Arepa de Asado Negro. Deliciosa!!Tostadita y el asado typically from Venezuela. I highly recommend this place as one of the best!!

Primera vez que voy a este lugar y la verdad muy mala experiencia, la comida estaba buena, pero nunca había tenido una atención tan mala, deberían capacitar el personal, la mesera súper grosería y cero atenta. El servicio es algo tan importante como la calidad de la comida. Definitivamente no volveré.

I love going to Avila Bistro with my family. The food is fantastic and the team that works there are very professional and welcoming. I have had the chance to be there many times there, so they know us by our names and have close relationship with my 4 year old. Additionally, I know that my son will eat everything that they serve there. Specially the Pabellón Criollo.I highly recommend this place!!!Luis

How about no stars? The food is nothing special. It's their own take on other place's foods. The table spans is minimal. The service is remedial, but they expect an 18% service charge and a 20% tip in top of that. When questioned about their 42% tax they double down stating than more than half of their customers tip 60%. People, why are we putting up with this?!

Good food with excellent service, had an arepa Reina pepeada and a home made Chicha it was delicious but a super big glass

One of the best meals I ever had, no joke. I'm not Venezuelan so this was new for me and I was not disappointed! Great atmosphere with nice people and great music. Will need back when I'm around town
