My husband and I stumbled upon Storehouse when we heard the music from the patio playing. Such a great place and shout out to Wesley - Manager and Latoya - server. The vibe was just what we needed, great music and drinks. We didn't have brunch since we ate breakfast before we came but we will definitely return.

Cozy and upscale with available outdoor seating. We had their special fries and a dozen oysters to start. The fries really didn't have the malt vinegar taste but it did have a slight sweet edge and came with dip. The oysters were pretty terrific- very fresh Canadian oysters- yum!The server had recommendations so We had the Redfish with grits, ribeye steak and Quail. For desserts we had the chocolate mousse and a lemon cake.Chief complaints- quality was good but the steak could have had a better crust. My redfish may have been a little under done but it has a great flavor. The bok choy in the dish was delicious and gave the dish the required texture. The lemon cake unfortunately was inedible - we couldn't cut through the bottom- it's more of a dense shortcake. The server was kind enough to take it off the ticket. We got various drinks that were very smooth- I got the a mock tail that was super yum- not overly sweet- off menu. We shall be back- despite the hiccups it was awesome- true farm to table with fresh ingredients grown in-house!

The food was amazing!! The French toast was perfect and thin enough to be enjoyable compared to most thick French toast. The fried chicken was breaded perfectly and moist. My FIL loved the special omelette of the day. Everything was so fresh. Service was good and the ambiance was rustic chic. Definitely worth trying!

When I want to have a fresh, delicious, chef-driven meal in Bastrop, I come here! While the food is always great, the service & atmosphere are what keeps me coming back! The outside patio is beautifully lit, the indoor seating is so cool because it's a historic site, and the bar area is always playing jams on their record player. Love!

I didn't want to change my review so please see the last one which was surely phenomenal. I just wanted to add it tonight. I had the tri-tip and it was absolutely wonderful. Very quality thief and I got the black truffle garlic aïoli, and I tried to the house made cocktails. They were so smooth and the service was absolutely wonderful. I have never been disappointed here at storehouse.

Well what a way to start eating adventures in 2024! Stumbled across this place while working in the area and it is a true gem!Cute, quaint setting with just phenomenal service! Really wanted a salad to eat clean after the holidays and this place had one of the best salads I have ever had with a fresh herb vinaigrette and chèvre. However as it was a cold rainy day out, the black garlic fries were also calling our name and these are some of these best fries I have had in my life! Piping hot, crispy and a lovely rosemary taste with a delicious black garlic aioli to dip them in!Would happily visit again!

This place is pretty awesome. In a historic building that was once a cathouse. Got the seafood tower and shared it and we all liked it a lot. Also had some of Nick's charcuterie board and the cheeses they chose are really quite good. Everyone else loved their fish plates. Oh, I almost forgot I also ordered the vegan BBQ which was really good! Recommend it.

Such a cute and delicious spot in Bastrop. We sat inside and enjoyed the Beatles record playing. We got the French fries to start and they were phenomenal. Good took about an hour to come out but it was tasty. I got the redfish (they had to cook it extra because I am pregnant) and we had creme brûlée for dessert and it was one of the best I have had! Great price for quality of food.

The food was excellent. . We both had the ribeye. Cooked perfectly with a hard sear. I had the vegetable mash. Husband had the Texas grits. Both were really good. The grits were outstanding. For drinks I had Carajillo. So so good. I could have kept drinking them. Husband didn't like the margarita so he switched to a cab. He loved the Elizabeth Spencer cab. We had the bread pudding, their twist on it. It was ok. We were sat at the bar. Great bartender. We enjoyed talking to her and she made good drinks. Very attentive even though she was busy. The only part I didn't like was sitting in front of the speakers. They were right behind me and loud so they co be heard in the dining area, which is another room. Husband and I were sitting shoulder to shoulder and could barely hear each other. Next time I'll make a reservation (highly recommended) so we can sit in the dining room.

We decided to try Storehouse Market & Eatery after reading the great reviews on Yelp. The servers are friendly but the service is VERY slow. We waited a long time for iced tea refills. The "Basket O'Biscuits" appetizer for $12 was three small, hard biscuits - nothing special about it but the honey butter was good. The biscuits and gravy had a good flavor but were lukewarm at best - bordering on cold. The French toast was burned. The edges (crust) were inedible so we maybe got a bite or two from the middle - the least burned part. Everything else was very salty. We could have complained or sent the food back but we didn't have time for another long wait for refills and replacement meals. We really wanted to like this cute place in Bastrop but needless to say, we won't be back.
