Outstanding barbecue!Grew up on homemade smoked brisket, sausage, and all other meats. We're used to getting close to those flavors with Rudy's and Killens. However, Mac blew every other restaurant attempt at home bbq outta the water.We did the family pack so that we'd have leftovers. The brisket and sausage were simply perfect. Moist without being watery, fall apart without being mushy, and the fat was like butter...soft and the perfect complement to the muscle. The green beans were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The french fries were a great side, too.We finished with Mrs. Mac's pound cake, and I could have died with no regrets in life. So moist and buttery with the perfect crusty exterior.We will definitely be back!Our 2 yr old and 5 yr old were in love and enjoyed every bite, as well.

Wow just wow! Soooo many hidden food gems and this is one of them! Turkey leg, outstanding my toddler was like a dog with a bone. He wouldn't give up the turkey leg we ended up having to get a second one. It was so delicious. The brisket mac & cheese is something I will forever dream about OMG was this delicious. We've actually gone back and ordered it numerous times. So if you're ever in Cedar Creek/Bastrop please check this place out so good.

This is a straight up food truck permanently setup. They cook and you can eat outside or take home. Its standard fare bbq. Bbq sauce is mild and a touch on the sweeter side. The baked potato with brisket maybe their best dish. It is huge and well loaded. Bbq sandwich is on the smaller side so if you are not that hungry might be a better option. The prices are fair for the value.

We ordered the family meal and asked about hush puppies since once of the pics mentioned it. They said it wasn't on the menu, but they were so nice about it and said they could add it to our order. The brisket was amazing. Super juicy and lots of flavor. The meal fed 6 adults and 3 kids for lunch. We should have ordered more mac n cheese, that went quickly. Will be back if we are in the area!

So I came here because of all the 5 star reviews and was expecting some decent food. I ordered a pound of ribs with a side of fries and it didn't have any flavor. The ribs were chewy and didn't really taste like much :(

This was a DoorDash order as I normally cook for myself but have been dealing with spider bites so I was feeling not too special and fancied something a little bit special and local.I was not disappointed by the brisket (and I ordered enough to have over two nights) and the Carltons nachos which were also good.The only disappointment was paying $8 for 2cups of beans. They were good, but maybe I misunderstood the ordering system and figured there'd be a couple of side options! Regardless, I will order again because the brisket was delicious, but maybe heat up a tin of beans at home!

Good food truck. We had the Blake's cheesy grilled cheese and the Big Neal's sandwich. Brisket was flavorful and tender. Meyer's sausage had just the right amount of heat. Don't try to eat and drive. LOTS of meat on both. Either take with or use one of picnic tables. Folks were friendly and service was quick.
