"It had gotten late and we were so hungry. We selected this restaurant because they appeared to be open until 10 PM. When we said we wanted to dine in, we were told they were closing at 9:30. That still gave us ample time to eat. This place is along a row of international restaurants. Inside, it's not huge, but it's cozy and clean. The Gyros plate was large and came with a salad. The presentation was beautiful. The ingredients were obviously fresh, and the meal was delicious."
"This tiny Greek/Lebanese restaurant opened 15 years ago is what I heard from Kal, the manager onsite (in charge) with whom I interacted when I went there past 6:30 to place a to-go order. I had passed by this restaurant umpteen times in the past. Why did it take so long before I finally got a chance to try it is definitely a question I asked myself today. It's okay; I patted my shoulder that I finally went to check it out today after many years of procrastination!!Kal (I mentioned earlier in this review) is hilarious! He, first of all, welcomed me as soon as I stepped in the restaurant like a peppy/talkative macaw! Once I knew what I wanted, I walked up to the register and told him my choice of plate. Unfortunately, the restaurant was about to close so he told me they had run out of the tabbouleh that was part of the plate. Too bad! I decided to go with one of the sandwiches (something easygoing) instead and a side of grape leaves dolma (4 pieces). While I was waiting for my food, Kal and I talked more. He asked me about my cultural background and this led us to talk about fresh seafood as I'm from Japan and he used to live in Boston. He definitely made me laugh; he entertained me like a stand up comedian! The food didn't take long. I waited for maybe 5 minutes at the tops. Kal said to order ahead (by calling in) next time and insisted me on taking the to-go menu as he truly wanted me to come back for the plate I couldn't get tonight. And the food?-Shawarma in a pita wrap (beef) was ridiculously delicious! The meat, lettuce and tomato were all impeccably marinated in the tzatziki sauce and is surprisingly so light despite the look of it. -Dolmas (4 pieces) - I've been to a similar restaurant where they serve dolmas and their dolmas were a bit too oily. This restaurant's dolmas are nothing like that. Perfect amount of oil makes their dolmas perfectly moist. This is now my go-to place for dolmas when I get a craving for it. I can't wait to go back and try other things on the menu!"

"As you can tell by the plethora of reviews, this is a spot to drop into. My favorite local restaurant in all of Parker, Colorado in addition to JuJu's Coffee! Consisent high quality Greek food at a more than fair price. EXCELLENT!"
"When I utilized this business a little while back, I really didn't have a great experience; it was mostly not so great service where the lady who assisted me had no friendliness in her facial expression or words she uttered. My daughter who recently got a takeout from here pretty much agreed with me when it came to service (although she absolutely enjoyed the food itself.) I, however, believe in giving people or businesses a second chance so I went here just the other night to get myself a quick dinner (to which my daughter accompanied me.) To my surprise, I had a much better experience this time. The male worker upfront immediately greeted us upon arrival; he was polite with professionalism. He didn't rush me in any way; he patiently waited until I knew what I wanted. Once I had told him what I wanted he immediately transacted the order to which I settled the tab. While I was waiting for my food, I took the time to look around the restaurant to notice everything inside the it. The restaurant was very clean. The long/skinny layout of it is somewhat modern. It also has a good size patio seating. All the way back to the end (east side of it) there is a party area/room. It appears it can possibly hold 30-40 people. There was a customer who dines here on a regular basis (he also identified himself a friend to the business owner) and he friendlily spoke to us as he noticed us when walked in. He was sort of acting like the spokesperson of the restaurant and he said to talk to the manager if we had any questions or problems with anything with this place as the manager/owner truly cares about their customers' needs and satisfaction. What a nice guys!! After 10-15 minutes, my food was finally ready. At home, I immediately started my meal. Let's get to the main topic of this review: the food!!!Vegetable samosas: my daughter made a recommendation on this. When it comes to samosas I like chunky/dense ones. This restaurant makes their samosas thin. They tasted good but I still like my samosas made chunky stuffed with all kinds of ingredients with more density. These are 7 out of 10.Kari Pakora: Lemony curry with a good amount of kick (its spiciness is quite noticeable.) Unlike other typical curries, this one is not as heavily stewed so the texture is closely resembling to soups (more like) so in that sense, it's a light curry. I've never had a curry like this and I dig this very much; 8.5 out of 10 (the rice that accompanied the curry had a lot of saffron in it. In a way, I like my rice more plain so that it's not too overpowering to kill the flavors of the curry. It wasn't bad though!)To conclude my experience this time, it was quite good; 8 out of 10 for everything I had experienced. This place definitely made the list of my favorite Indian restaurants in Denver for sure."
"We needed a light simple dinner on our last day at the nearby hotel. We walked over to this Greek fast casual place. We have eaten lots of Greek food. These were simplified versions that were acceptable. The staff was friendly, the place was not yet busy and Orion's were stopping by for take out . It's simple inside but clean and cheery. Very modest prices. A few people came in who seemed to be regulars. We were not very hungry but did want a tasty small option. We split a "Great Greek Gyro." The staff made it quickly and cut it for us and gave us separate plates for no up charge. Very accommodating. We also bought some good quality bottled unsweetened ice tea which was fine. Craving some ice cream for a few days my husband picked some from the menu . I wanted something else so we got the assorted dessert plate. A good sized dish of baklava flavored ice cream, a bowl of house made rice pudding and pieces of baklava. That worked out quite well for balance. What was not ideal was the style of the food. The meat in the gyro, though traditional lamb and beef was somewhat tough , the tzatziki was a bit watery and not a cucumber slice in sight, though the lettuce and tomato was. Unusual to not have any cucumber . My husband thought the ice cream just right. I thought the rice pudding too milky and not thick but flavor was good with lots of cinnamon. The baklava was also pretty wet and the phyllo too pale by what I usually buy or am served. I may be a bit picky but I have had lots of high quality home made Greek food. My next door neighbor was born in Greece and makes fantastic baklava. But for fast casual this met the needs of the day. If they could tweak their cooking style a bit, it would be a little better."
"Uptown & Humboldt is a special place. I've seen every iteration of them over the years. From food trucking and meal prepping to hotel brunching and food stalling, these cats have been ALL OVER the Greater Denver metro area sharing their culinary creativity with the masses. You'll be hard-pressed to find anyone kinder and more passionate about the community more than Gio and his business partner, Hayden. The ethos of Uptown & Humboldt stems from their travels around the world and their culinary adventures. The end result is nothing short of damn delicious food. The current menu revolves around their gyros and burgers. You can't go wrong with anything you try. The FMB and Berlin burgers are absolutely delicious. On my most recent visit I went with my favorite order: the Lamb Gyro and Yuca Fries. This combination is magnificent. The lamb tender and the gyro filling. The yuca fries somehow steal the show every time, with the garlic cilantro aioli in th running for most addictive side sauce in Denver.PRO TIP: wash it down with a Pineapple Basil Agua Fresca. It puts all other agua frescas to shame. Splurge on the drink, IT'S BEYOND WORTH IT.If you're at their food stall at Zeppelin Station, you'll be kicking yourself if you don't try anything from their newer tapas menu. The two standouts are the Truffle Manchego Croquettes and the Pistachio Whipped Feta. Just take my money and call it a day.If you find their food truck and they happen to be serving breakfast burritos, order one. Actually order seven. In the breakfast burrito-obsessed world of Colorado, theirs are TOP TIER. These are craveworthy. Like going out in a blizzard craveworthy!I'm one of Gio and Hayden's biggest fans. They've accomplished so much in a short period of time, but I have a feeling they have big things on their horizon. Wonderful people, excellent food, and a burning desire to do good in this world. If that isn't the recipe for success and happiness, I don't know what is."
"This is a very good Mediterranean Restaurant. I ordered the Lamb Kebobs for an entree and almond baklava for desserts. The entree came with a very good side salad, hummus, pita bread, rice and vegetables. The lamb was cooked perfectly, and all the side items were delicious. The baklava portion was enormous and delicious. I recommend sharing the baklava, if you are not dining alone. This restaurant is located in Downtown Denver, it was easy to find parking."
"First time this year at Pete's original restaurant off Alameda Ave @ Pearl Street. I was pleasantly surprised that their prices did not increase. When I arrived at 5:30pm, there was only 1 other occupied table. During my stay they almost filled up their 7 2-person tables and several larger tables. They have a west facing patio for summer. They offer a wide selection of vegetarian & meat filled Greek entrees. I got the Spanakopita appetizer, 2 spinach & feta cheese pockets with Iced tea. Very nice with lots of spinach. I next had Avgolemono (lemon-rice) soup. I had the ground beef version of Mousaka with potatoes, eggplant, bechamel sauce and topped with a tomato sauce. A very large portion. I got a greek salad and pita bread. Too full for dessert, but I recommend their baklava."
"Love Gyros Town in Denver. So glad they opened one in Littleton. Food delicious, and friendly service ordering my to go order. They are newly opened and renovated. I ordered the gyros entree and a side order of french fries. So good!"
"! , . . If you're looking for real authentic Greek this is the place! Run by a Greek family, you can't get any better than this! Don't forget to order baklava and say Yasou!"
"Cant beat the prices and freshness of their falafel wrap! It does take a bit longer than everything else on the menu so only go here if you've got at least 25 minutes for a break."

It's located in an old building dying to be renovated. After carefully maneuvering the pot holes and crowded parking lot, we were able to secure the space. About 6 pm, one customer was inside. Decided to check the other restaurant which appeared to be more modern. Only one customer also. Saw gyro platter for $19.99 and, after looking at the Yelp rating, decided to try this place. Not so impressed 1st of all, the waitress was busy talking on her cell phone face timing and couldn't careless about customers. She motioned us to grab a table while chatting onnthe phone. After seating down, she brought two menus and went back to the counter. She was back at it again. Place was loud with music and her voice added to the noise assault to my ears.Since she didn't take the order and I didn't know the steps, I got up to order at the counter. She motioned me to sit down and she came over to take the order. Our grape leaves and salad came out quickly. About 5 minutes later, our food came out to the counter, but she was busy trying to take care of phone orders. The grape leaves were good. Side salad was plain but ok. The gyro plate was ok. Hummus and rice were well seasoned and loved it. The interior of the restaurant is old and didn't look too clean. Looks like the floors are new. I can also smell the faint sewage order. Good thing it didn't get worse. If I was doing the takeout, I would have given 4 stars or higher on their food. For in dining experience, two at the best. If I gave a 5-star review, I would have gotten the baklava. That's what the handwritten sign suggests.I may come back and try the other meat combo.Wish me luck!

Quiet small restaurant, with about 8 booths and tables. Food is made to order. There are a few wines and beers, no liquor. Does a pretty good To-go business. Delicious and not expensive!!

This is our go to Mediterranean restaurant! Their abengelemono soup is to die for!! It always hits the spot for me!! The gyros are fantastic as well. Our favorite is the pitas! Something about the soft warm and chewy texture you get when you go to opa! It's a gem!

Spicy lentil soup with veggie samosa was delicious! Spicyyyy but delicious!Garlic cheese naan was to die forKulfi ice cream was amazing!Chai tea was hot and not sweetened but super creamy and delicious! It's a delicious spot about a 5 min walk from Embassy Suite Denver Tech Center that is super reasonably priced. Everyone there was super helpful and friendly! They have TVs with Indian dance music videos which were super entertaining while I was waiting for my food.

We love the gyros at Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, good amount of topping ratio to gyro meat which was nice. We get the great Greek gyros (pictured) and a side of feta fries (not pictured) the feta fries are awesome and crispy. Portions are normal for the fries not giant piles like a lot of American fast food joints. Place has a nice vibe but it's not like the fanciest spot, probably would work best for takeout since there are only a handful of tables inside. We will be back!

Hilarious that U&H switched food hall residences AFTER I moved to Arvada. Fortunately I regularly go to Zeppelin Station. For some reason, I can't bring myself to order a normal freaking burger here. There's always something zany on the menu, like the Berlin with potato chips inside!I enjoyed the overall flavor profile, but it got a little dry halfway through. Couldn't finish the burger and didn't want to take it home. I think I was a little too generous in my 2023 review of U&H, but I'll probably request a slightly less cooked patty if I decide to come back again.

The best lamb kafta! It is juicy light brown deliciousness. The huge plate of hummus with chicken is tasty with warm fresh pita. The food came out fast and the hot Turkish tea at the end of meal is perfect. We got baklava to go for late night snack. The walnut baklava is crunchy outside and soaked with flavorful honey.

Love Petes. Definitely the best greek food in the area. Awesome takeout. Super nice people run the joint. No frills greek cafe. We regularly order the mousaka, dolma, loukanika, spanikopita, gyros. The meat dolmades are awesome with the lemon sauce. The spicy feta dip is to die for. And the fava beans are the best I've ever had. High quality pita and portions are very generous. Best kept secret about the place is their catering.

"Best Greek food in town! Such friendly staff and a clean, comfortable seating area.I've been coming here for years. I love their gyros and gyro salad. The baklava and nut roll are delicious, too. It's rarle"
"Great Greek and eggs breakfast ! I love the taste of this meal the restaurant has character. Make sure you plan for this spot and call ahead and or make a reservation or you'll be waiting !"
"We wanted some really good Greek food and Jake&Telly's came highly recommended. I got a pork Souvlaki sandwich because I've had a lot of lamb and chicken variants, but never seen pork. It was good, especially the flavor of the pork and the feta. We tried the meatball plate with pita and that was great. Our favorite, however, were the dolmades: the sauce that came with it was so good and we mopped it all up with the pitas, and the beef and rice in the grape leaves were great and paired well with it. I had a beer that was on tap and thought it was awesome, but I can't remember the name of it. After your meal you also get a shot.Reuben was our server and he was great. He had some good stories and brought out the final shot for us."
"Definitely the best gyros in town.I've been coming here off and on for some time, and the experience is always spot on. Take out is quick and actually the same serving portion as dine in, which seems to be rare nowadays.Food is always solid, from breakfast to lunch to dinner. Gyros all day baby.Staff is pleasant and attentive, they seem to be happy working here and it shows.Burger is fine, not the best, not the worst. Wouldn't come here for the burgers though.Get the gyro breakfast platter or the sandwich.Bonus: darn good and spot on avgolemono soup, hits the spot every time and I always get a bowl no matter the time of day. Man, I want some now."
"Nice server, cozy ambiance, delicious gyro. Hot, seasoned fries. Great place. The gyro meat was thinly sliced (I like that) and abundant."
"This place is great! Came here with some coworkers and so happy we did. This place has incredible food and is hoppin! Lunch was busy by 1145, so get there by 1130 during a weekday lunch. They have indoor and outdoor seating and it was so nice. I got the medi bowl with lamb which was a great size and super tasty. I could only eat half. They accidentally gave us fries and yum!! I will bring my husband here now because I know he is going to want to try their gyro. Highly recommend!"
"Happened to be nearby and great choice for dinner. Ordering was super easy at the drive thru, got the gyro sandwich and salad with gyro added. There is so much food for the price. I m so used to paying higher prices at the mall and had to double take on the price. $7.95 for gyro sandwich, $12.50 for gyro with salad. The gentleman who handed me the bag was super friendly and told me to " safe drive home." What a nice gesture.Judging from the amount of food, just the Greek salad with meat added will be plenty for two people (light eater)."
"We ordered a pizza from here after wanting to try for a long time and were sadly underwhelmed. The crust was barley cooked and wiggly. We were also upcharged $4 for mushrooms on the pizza that were canned not fresh which was a bit of a bummer. I was also shocked tbay the pizza was $32 for a large vegetarian. Bummed but really wanted to love it."
"Lots of Moroccan influences, but I wish they served my Lamb Tagine in a Tagine. We also got their Mezi Platter with Lentil soup, but past on the Lentil soup. It's not as creamy as I would have preferred. This place has a large bar area to sit and great for large parties. However - it took 70 minutes for our entrees to come out. So, make sure you have extra time in-between whatever you need to get to while coming here."
"I've gone twice now, first time we just went for dessert and ate in and the ice cream and the lemon crème cake were delicious. Second time we opted for take out and their savory stuff was delicious, they have been so kind each time and prepared to explain the menu and items. Looking forward to going again soon."
"This is probably the best value you'll find for Greek food. The food is also better than most. Typically Greek is pretty expensive but there's a lot of options here under $12.The place itself is small, there's limited seating, and most of the table seating is only for two people. I saw a lot of people coming in and getting takeout. If you eat there, you simply order at the front desk and they will bring you your food. The food came quickly, the gyros was our favorite thing.I'll definitely be back.Happy eating!"
"Both hubby and I were wanting some veggie intake. He, a salad. I wanted a Mediterranean bowl. Found them both at Taziki's. It was so good. It's a bright, clean place with several offerings that fit our needs that day. Husband picked a Greek salad, which he declared "wonderful". I had a salad bowl with grilled shrimp -- very very good, though, beware -- the shrimp is more than a bit spicy. We look forward to going back to try some of the other interesting menu items."
"The food was pretty good, and maybe I'm used to "American Style" gyros, but this was much different. I think my expectations were that this would taste more similar to the gyro I'm used too. That being said it was still good and I'm glad I tried something different.I do think they needed to add something to the feta fries, it was simply fries with a little feta on top. They should have added oil or lemon or something additional to get the cheese to actually stick to the fries.Overall the food was pretty good, but nothing that sticks out as memorable."
"Ambiance: it's located on the right side of food court once walking through the entrance Service: very fast however careless, made the order wrong at the first place though fix it later Food: limited choices on the menu Traditional Lamb And Beef - **** signature gyro sandwich, juicy ground meat, recommend Grilled Chicken - *** very dry made from frozen chicken French Fries - ** soggy texture Price: medium portions and affordable prices, expect about $20 per order"
"The place was packed on a weekday for lunch. I see why. The food is good, filling, tasty and reasonably priced. Did I mention it is a family owned business -- it was clear to me, as I stood in line, there are a bunch of a regular customers. The place has clearly stood the test of time. As to the food, the gyros platter was exceptional, cooked perfectly, served warm and it hit the spot. Came with fries, Greek salad with Dolmas and freshly grilled pita. The falafel appetizer was alright -- way too much coriander than I expected or am accustomed to. Service was fast. Lots of take out orders. Lots of dine in. Yianni's is certainly worth a visit when you want to try Greek."
"A local favorite and a historical location, this spot seems like it has maintained its hole-in-a-wall stature, interior is old and worn off. Despite that the place has lots of recognition and accolades displayed on their wall. But the outdoor seating they have, looked so new and modern, best part of the restaurant. The breakfast items we tried were okay. Lemonade was decent. Pancakes were not so good. Service is okay. Dishes came out within a short time. We were happy to have checked mark this iconic spot but probably not the best experience we imagined."
"Best Greek food hands down that we have had in Colorado Springs! We will definitely be back, highly recommend."
"Love Byblos and never disappointed. The gyros are some of my favorite and don't sleep on the garlic dip as a side. Drool worthy! The baklava is also a great way to end the meal. Very easy to order online and the service is impeccable. Not only are the extremely fast, they are the absolute nicest!! Byblos, thank you for being such a great, tasty option in our neighborhood."
"Such fantastic service!!!! Hubs n I stopped for a special treat lunch. He ordered the Gyro Platter and I had the chicken gyro platter. We also ordered a hummus side. Everything was super fresh, super fast and super delicious. We also grabbed a chicken gyro sandwich for the daughter to go. Can't write more right now but I do love this place."
"$16.70 for a gyro, salad and a drink is very steep. However if you spin around the food court at Park Meadows, you'll notice many unhealthy options until you see Renzio's! They're not the happiest there and they talk to you as if they have to be there. I guess you gotta make a buck some how.Regardless, the food is really good and if you request the tzatziki sauce on the side your gyro won't be drowning in big globs. The lamb meat is great and the salad with a light vinaigrette dressing does the trick! Inflation has done all sorts of things to the supply chain and the final product but at least Renzio's is consistent and that's why I keep returning."
"The place was empty when we arrived accept for on person finishing his bill settlement. We stood at the counter a few minutes looking at the menus on the counter. A pleasant woman emerged and as if we wanted anything and we said we wanted to eat i . We grabbed the menu and chose a table. She appeared to be working alone. We were finally able to order after about 10 minutes and were given drinks from the cooler. Doesn't seem full service but it was Monday at 1:30 so maybe no staff??The food to me was average in taste. I might try the lamb next time if in the area. I wasn't impressed as some reviewers with the ambiance or the food. The prices are reasonable so it's worth a visit and let your tastebuds decide."
"I had some visiting friends come into town for lunch. So Athenian came to mind. I believe one of the nicest restaurants in Aurora not being a chain restaurant. I ordered my usual kitchen gyros sandwiche and lemon rice soup. I have to say though the gyros are filling and tasty I do love the soup. The service as always is pleasant and their Greek ambiance is always pleasant to see. I think I see something new each time as there are many hidden gems. Mind you this is the restaurant that cooked me a meal after closing because the closing times were incorrect online. Though I told them not to. They did anyway. Forever indebted."
