Au Bon Gout Restaurant

My friend never had Haitian dishes. One of our friends recommended this place. So, we decided to try.This place is more for take out orders. There were always 2 to 3 people waiting to pick their orders. I ordered legume and my friend had beef with okura.We sat about 10 to 15 minutes for our food. It came with fresh djon djon rice. I could eat just this!My legume had a nice amount of meat and it was very tasty.My friend enjoyed her dish too. I have to take 1 star since they only take cash. But I will be back!

I've been going to Au Bon Gout for quite sometime and the food is always good! Today, I ordered rice and beans (diri cole) and meatballs (boulet) it was amazing per usual. The only thing they can work in is their customer service, but other than that it's a really good place to eat whether it's for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

If you ask me what the best cuisine is I'm going to say Haitian food!!! I know. I know. I'm biased but it's the truth. It's really hard to find Haitian cooking like your mama but if you're looking for delicious haitian food this is it. Now forewarning it is a Caribbean restaurant so there might be a little of a wait. Okay a long wait but once you bite into your food well worth it. My go to order is always diri Jon Jon [the infamous black mushroom rice] and boulettes [haitian meatballs]. The meatballs are a little on tbe spicy side but notbing a little water won't assist you with. The rice is always amazing that you have to get a second order. This restaurant is cash only so keep that in mind. All in all if you're looking for the best haitian food in Miami Au Bon Gout it is!

Their way of having customer service is calling the customer honey, sweetie, any terms of endearment.

I couldn't find soup joumou anywhere, so I searched 'Haitian food' on yelp & found this gem. The ladies behind the counter were super busy, but there still wasn't a long wait, & everyone was polite & upbeat. My soup joumou was amazing. It was thick & flavorful. It was loaded with vegetables, & the portions were huge. This is definitely a place to try for authentic Haitian food.

Been to this place countless times and gotta say the quality and portions are on point here! A must try for those who've never had!

THEY GET IT RIGHT EVERYTIME. Literally, everytime I leave from getting a wax, this is a must stop. Listen, I'm Haitian and this is the best I've had from a local restaurant. For years I've been searching for authentic Haitian food and this is it. I don't eat pork so I get the fried Turkey, beans and rice, plantain and extra pikliz. WHEWWWW AND THE PIKLIZ THEEEE ABSOLUTE BESt. It's a must I pay for extra everytime. The meat is tender, the plantains don't give me the hiccups like other restaurants and that rice!!!!! I'm not even a big rice eater, but hunnyyyy, for this rice, it gets ate up real quick!!

this is the best haitian food i have everrrrrrrrrrrrrrr had in my entire life! freesh deslish amazing!!!!! huge huge portions!!!

Good is very good.Not so good customer service.I recommend you to ALWAYS call to make your order vs walking in to order because your food will take at least 30 minutes to come out.
